Title: Best exchange given all the latest headlines? Post by: LuxeChains on May 17, 2013, 11:02:29 PM Was considering trying to open a Mt.Gox account.... now considering buying from BitStamp or CoinLab. Any idea which is easier/safer/better?
To be honest, I'm not looking to send $$$ to any BTC trade network. Just looking for a way to accept a new form of payment... So I would take in BTC and cash out USD whenever I feel the need or need capital to replace inventory sold. What exchange would you suggest for a merchant??? I'm assuming when you signup you get a BTC "address" or whatever it's called, for someone to pay you with??? Thanks in advance! Title: Re: Best exchange given all the latest headlines? I have used both MtGox and BitStamp, both work, it depends on your preferences (and location: BitStamp is better for europeans for instance). If you are going to use it for business, though, I recall there are services specifically targeted at making your life much easier than it woyuld be with a bare-bone exchange functionality, might be worth searching for them. Post by: CryptoJunky on May 20, 2013, 05:10:42 AM You can also use a service like Coinbase or Bitpay which let you accept Bitcoin and convert it to USD. I believe coinbase has the option of keeping a balance in Bitcoin, converting, or a combination of both. I've used Coinbase a bit, just not as a merchant, so I'm not entirely clear on the specifics on that end.
