ICO will start tomorrow and yet I didn't find any official announcement on this forum. How the fuck can these people think to launch a new ICO without an official announcement here on bitcointalk?

Ico started today.
I like the project and invested some in it. Every investors have quota. I lite their Ico model.

Will this project work? Yes I heard from some friends in this forum, but I also did not find the official announcement.

I have never heard of this project. What is it about?
Probably they are promoting it somewhere else and they think that will be enough. You heard of it, shared it and probably more people will hear about it.

I like the cap of $1800 per registrant. Unfortunately I did not know I have to register between 8th and 12th August to be able to participate on the ICO  >:(

I don't really know why they did not create a bitcointalk thread to communicate all the rules for the ICO. The official blog at https://blog.0xproject.com contains the information but is only a few days old.

Only the first day cap is 6.7 Ethereums, tomorrow's cap if there are tokens still for sale will be a little over 20 Ethereums.  Not all projects choose to have an announcement on bitcointalk and are still successful.  I am lucky to have found out about the project on twitter. 

From the https://www.0xproject.com/sale web site, I couldn't understand how much they raised so far. The only information is 219,518,663 ZRX sold so far.

A+ team, great product.  Even better to see the cap on funds raised per registrant.  Really excited to see what happens with the ICO here.

At the inverse, I absolutely do not like this model. Why the hell would people be capped ? It has no point. Plus anyone can cheat if he wants to, so that just bother people willing to invest in the project. Some ICOs are not creating a thread here. EOS, Tezos or BAT have not do it. I wonder however how they got known ???.

I am in https://0xproject.com/sale but I am in a page it says ''connecting to blockchaing'' and still spinning on the same page for 30 minutes...anyone is experience the same problem and what to do...wait and wait?

There is a PDF file in their website. As I see in that, all tokens worth 24 million dollar. So till now about 12 million dollar has raised.

I actually like this method of distribution for an ico.  It makes it more fair and the distribution of tokens are evenly spread out instead of a handful of whales holding the majority of the tokens like what happened during the Basic attention token ico.  Tomorrow will be a different game though,  it'll be first come first serve with higher buying limits. 

I just heard of this project today and now seen it already like five times.

What is this project about and why is it so popular???

I know that you must be registered your self to joining in the ico, The registration phase already closed, by the way, you just able to join the crowd sale through the someone's invitation. The team has not made the public announcement due to the keep the privacy and minimize the chance of the scammers will try to disturb the crowdsale. You can find a lot in their slack channel

How is this decentralized exchange different from Bancor?

you can allready buy it at Etherdelta,but price is much higjer than ICO. It is 0.17$ from 0.05$

Is it a good idea to buy now?

It's your call.  If you didn't get in on the ico registration and believe in this project, then 3.4x is not that much.  Most solid projects are at least 10x the ico at the moment.  Also the most people each individual has right now is around 40k ZRX unless they cheated during the ico registration process.

^ Seconded. Stellar team, have spoken to them and they know their stuff. It's already on exchanges for about 2X if you want to take the risk.

I invested in this also, had a search on bct and could not see any ANN thread.  As other users have advised they probably didnt need to.

Good distribution model as it stops large whales taking up a huge percentage like they did with BAT.  I only usually invest under 10eth in new ico's anyways so im fine with it.

On last check it has sold 74% of tokens and there is still 8 hours left of the first day sale

These 21 year olds have been raising good money for their projects, look at Aragon and district0x. Lets see if the ecosystem they are building around ERC20 will be successful.

I really love the model of the ICO though.
1. Clear cap at 48mio
2. Whale accumulation prevention during crowd sale; remember what happened to BAT, it closed in 1 minute because of some fat fingers. The 0x team prevented that.
3. Idiotproof and Scamproof registration procedure. To register for the ICO you used the civic app and signed a tx from your ETH wallet to whitelist. No password typing or shit like that, so you dont need to even think about keyloggers or other spywere.
4. The 24 hour personal cap really prevented ETH network clog, unlike most other popular ICOs

So far it seems the most well thought ICO.

On the other hand....

1. 50 mio USD is a lot, yes it is smaller than the TEZOS , EOS or BANCOR but it is still a lot.

3. The project is betting that the ETH ecosystem will be successful and will continue to grow.... aaaaand that the ICO craze will continue.
4. It is direct competition to the superplayers of the game such as Polo, bittrex, bitfinex and other centralized exchanges. I doubt they will be happy to list it and allow it to grow.
5. You accumulate 0x platform fees by holding the tokens. Will exchanges list it with that model? Most dividend paying coins/assets have trouble listing on exchanges. Check what happened with ICN and the 42 ICN required to get payed ....


I invested the few ETH i was allowed cuz i think it will be a great fomo flip in a couple of months.
Am i missing anything?

This is a very ambitious and promising project, but I don't see it as an advantage for investors in the long term. Actually, the markers are passed to the ICO will not be needed in the future and in their growth do not need to put. This coin can fly up to 0.20$ for the hype around the project, IMHO. If I missed something and these coins will be used to further correct me.

If the hard cap of this project is under $50m, I can suggest everyone to buy this coin in exchanges, it can give 3x or more in a week like district0x project.

I think the 0x project provides a solution for a very urgent issue as evidenced by the horrible etherdelta trading interface on which the zrx coin can be traded and am currently rather optimistic regarding the exchange rate in the upcoming weeks.

This is by far the best ICO I have participated in! I really like the cap, so it does not end like with Ignis where a few accounts buy everything. So far it's 80% sold out which meas most people have actually used their cap of around 6.5 ETH to participate. It will be sold out for sure in round 2.

I wish this project all the success it deserves.

whats value in tokens? the project is good but i not see the value. also, it seem like many chance for scam off-chain pricing and make illiquid market.

even if the platform not rent-seek, i think relayers do it. finance people will love 0x so they can charge asymetric. what do you think?

I never thought that just reading the portfolio about them, you could say this would be a good project, in fact I doubt it for this project because they do not provide the original project they do, because if I want to prove the Project seriously, See their original threads, to ensure that the project is serious to run it.

It seems a good project. Unfortunately I missed it, I can see that 0X token is tradeable now on some exchanges, anyone know the ICO price?

You are not the only one who missed the ICO, it seems that this project was a secret project and there was no ANN thread here, so I think there are some big whales in this investment.

I don't know this peoject but the site and project is good i read some on it. I have only some doubt if this is not a big project especially to the future users. See how TEZOS without an announcement thread but it was the biggest crowfund in the history of crypto.

Big whales time was during pre-ICO. And that were really big whales. During the ICO anyone had a chance to get tokens even with $100.  The only problem is you should register for ICO in advance. 

I'm the one who had no time to register. So I had to buy ZRX tokens after ICO at 4x price.

If a project never come here to announce us, I will never care it also .

There was no pre-ICO and the only possible whales are people that registered multiple addresses during registration period, but they needed multiple cell phone numbers and multiple email accounts, since the registration used Civic app for verification.

It was not a secret project, it is an open protocol built on Ethereum that some other projects such as Aragon, district0x and Augur are already being built upon.

It was a very fair ICO model where they raised 24 millions distributed equally among everyone that was registered during registration period. We were able to contribute with a maximum of 6.67722 ETH (~$2k) for each registered address and got the ZRX token back in the same address immediatelly.
ICO price: 1 ZRX = 0.000169 ETH / $0.05

Tons of money were invested in this project by serious investors and funds before they went for ICO. That is what i've called "pre-ICO"

And it wasn't announced here due to it is a really serious project, they didn't need bounty programs, discounts for first ICO investors etc.
And ICO finished in less than 2 days. As for me - these are an attributes of serious project

I do not know much about this project since there is no ANN here, and I think the tokens are mostly held by some big whales, so the price can be easily pumped to moon, also, I do not care the coins that I do not know much.

This coin was insane last night. I bought a few minutes before it went on poloniex and spiked . Definitely a lot of potential with this coin, be sure to check their website.

Yup, the coin is on Poloniex but it's really strange; at least for me.  I can't seem to get a chart to load and the 24-hour percentage change is always pegged at 100%.  I was still able to purchase but frustrating that I couldn't chart it.

My chart is messed up too. One of the first sales after the walls came down last night was at the price of 1000BTC per 0x. Not a whole coin tho. The troll box in liqui.io was nuts, people getting .005 btc per 0x for like an hour after the Polo trade went live. Sadly my transfer was pending this whole time and I couldn't get any of the moon prices.

I invested 2 ether in 0x project, but I don't want it to get listed on poloniex. I don't like poloniex anymore, bittrex and liqui are better trade web sites. If we can get on chinese trade sites such as BTC9, we'll have plenty of money.

As far as I understand, 0x Project is an open protocol on which decentralized exchanges (Relayers) of ERC20 token are builded, using off-chain order books (EtherDelta use on-chain order book) - this decrease network useless load, increase speed of trading and you don't need gas for open, close, modify order, but executed orders goes into the blockchain. Fee for trading will be in ZRX - this gives them utility. Looks like first Relayer will be https://radarrelay.com/ I'm waiting for it to understand more.

of course MEW/Metamask better. You can trade on EtherDelta with them directly from the wallet. And soon you will able to trade safely on RadarRelay and Ethfinex.

0x token is a very good long term investment. They work with bitfinex to create a new exchange called ethfinex for altcoins. I think 0x can easily hit 1$ per token at the end of the year.

Buy and hold this coin. In six months time you will look back with longing at its current price.

Anyone else notice that 2 higher ups at Coinbase are advisors per their website?  If this were to hit Coinbase 1 billion market cap would be no problem.

The coin is quite popular on Github. But it's really difficult for me to understand everything they are talking about.
It's a POS coin but it's total system is experimental. I'm thinking of buying it in small quantities from binance.

I think that this coin is amazing, i am holding 1100 coins of this. This token is gonna reach more than $1 each at the end of the year, their project involves a lot of features that if they develop them this coin is gonna pump so much.

I'm very surprised when zrx tokens can be rlisted in poloniex, I dont know about the ICO's and when it ends, it's very unfortunate for me that I missed this  project >:( >:(

If they will hold, what they are saying in their white papers, than I can imaging a sleeping giant even they have not spend yet any marketing dollar as the story sound compeling. They want in a nutshell provide for For end users a decentralized application that facilitates trustless over-the-counter trading of Ethereum-based tokens. And beside other token obvoiusly they have tokens like Augur and Aragon on it already. If I understood correctly, they simply want to provide an exchange place for all those tokens, which is obviously helping to speed-up the network effects of the ethereum network.

I have heard the 0x project has a pre-ico on April this year, and I did not care too much that time, but recently the tokens was distributed and some big exchanges listed this coins, the price is really nice and I regret for my omission.

I have the similar experience like you, one of my friend asked me to join in the pre-ico and I refused it since I do have much faith for it, now what I can only do is buying some coins from the exchanges, a sad story.

Guys, I don't think we should lose faith in this dip. We know fundamentally Will and his team are good. They just need to up their game a bit and we will be back to 40cents territory maybe in 50cents.

All I know about it is that it is a platform like ethereum and it has around 8 coins built on top of it, including district0x.

I haven't actually heard about it until now. Though base on the few informations that i got, i think its a good project and i guess it has potential. Although its too early to say but base on some of the feedbacks, a couple of people had some regrets for not buying some coins during its pre ico. Anyhow, we'll see where this project will lead us.

It is a great experimental concept and still the developers aren't sure where the project is heading. Yet, it can be one of the best coin to invest.

I think they're similar to Kyber and AirSwap in terms of of what their project is about. They should probably spend some more time on marketing though, because many people lost interest in their project ever since their ICO finished.

Their is Radar Relay, a decentralize exchange who is running on 0x protocole, the beta is currently online.

It looks promising, can't wait for them to launch final version, this can be a good alternative to etherdelta.

Some of you can't understand the potential of ZRX as I have seen from previous comments. It is not only decentralized exchange, though it is important part and Ethfinex is coming  :) 0x is a protocol token and Aragon 0xdistrict and other platforms are using it. It is very powerful technology and their ICO was honest. They are not spending money on shitty marketing campaign only to pump the token.

A very good project . The market from China is bad, because my most trusted coin .

This token will cost more than $ 2 each at the end of the year, their project involves many features that if developed, the penny will pump a lot.

The first best time to buy some 0x was during the ICO phase, the second best time to grab some of it is now! If you have spare bitcoin, buy the freaking dip!

This is an extremely undervalued project and has the potential to do really well in the upcoming months and into 2018. Radar Relay and Kin Alpha are already live n the ETH mainnet, which are two of it's relayers. Ethfinex is also nearing it's beta launch, which will shift a LOT of attention towards 0x. Phase 1 doesn't actually use the 0x protocol but I feel it will still give 0x attention for investors.

What are use cases for 0x protocol? Will it be running inside ETH blockchain and altcoins?

I know the project of 0x (ZRX), and at that time I invested in an account of ZRX, and the final return on investment was more than ten times. But I think this project is a bit like ZRX, so I don't recommend investing.

I haven't really found out about it up to this point. Despite the fact that base on the couple of informations that I got, I think its a decent task and I get it has potential. In spite of the fact that its too soon to state yet base on a portion of the criticisms, a few people had a few second thoughts for not getting a few coins amid its pre ico. In any case, we'll see where this undertaking will lead us.

No, I have only heard about this project now. Never seen or heard about it until now. I hope it is a good project. It looks like one. I think a better job  should be put into promoting the project because in my own opinion, I don't think it has gotten a good enough level of publicity. So many people are not aware that a project like this is on the block.

I have eheard a lot about this one but its description is not so promising for me, it will be better to find another one with the larger potential to minimize losses.

It is bounty platform for bounty host, bounty hunter. You can earn tokens on bounty0x.io. I think OK, I have joined and they paid tokens.

ZRX valuation is determined by two factors:

How often fee abstraction is used by relayers which pays them in ZRX fees. (most users won't have ZRX)

How much ZRX relayers need to make voting decisions with 0x's governance tied to the protocol.

The second point is really mute based on the amount of liquidity flowing through 0x relayers. As Fred Ehrsam pointed out in his recent medium post on DEX's, EtherDelta does about 2% of the crypto exchange volume currently. If 0x relayers can get anywhere between 10-30%, they'll be handling billions of dollars.

The list of 0x relayers appears to be growing every single week, which indicates their developer network effects are strong. Unless Kyber or Airswap does anything drastic, I'm fully confident in several years some 0x relayers will occupy 10-30% of crypto exchange traffic or more. One can only guess what prices will be then

Why bother about this damn project when from the start this is questionable,this was the first time that i heard a launching project ICO without a announcement thread i dont know if this is recklessness or intentional of not providing one.

It is nothing amazing because there are still so many ideas who are performing and amazingly good without having a bounty campaigns, or whatever things that we are familiar with.

This project has more than a year. Yes, its price has grown well in a year, investors risked and earned a lot. What else to discuss here? Is it possible to invest now? Today I would not, an ordinary coin subject to the general state of the crypto market.

I know it, and I am sure in its success, there are so many positive opinions from experts and they make me sure about it. I am thinking about joining to this projects.

Well about the 0x project I really don't know about this project but from the hype am seeing here I guess is a unique project and I always want to know more about this type of project so I would do my own research

I know such a site but I do not participate in bounty on this site. My friend participates in the bounty on this site, but there are many low-grade projects that will never even go to the stock exchange. YES and now they have entered mandatory KYC for beginners

All of them have very large finances and I like that. I hope this Project is not SCAm and successful in the future.

Since I have been noticing good reports concerning the team and the project itself, I need to do some little research on my own path before I dive in. If it gonna worth it, I would like to take part.

I have heard a lot about this project and this project as a whole has prospects, because I would probably take part in their bounty. I think that they have a great future. But today, as you see, the market does not have normal projects and this is sad.
