What are some of the cheap altcoins that may be something big in future?

Since everything is pretty much down right now might get in on some.

So far I'm in Ripple and Sia.

Personally I'd dump both of those... but the only ones I'd recommended are already doing well today (ARK, OMG and DNT)

Now I think it's a good time to buy Status token (SNT) and BasicAttentionToken (BAT). But after BTC growth is stop - all alts go up.

Maybe my guess for a token that will be up in the future is DENT token

Why would I drop them? For a couple/few hundred I can get a whole mess of them and they do have some hope. Not worried about losing a little on taking the gamble.

Not on a super tight budget here.

This is the best time to get into alticoins like DGB SC XRP because its price is too low

i don't think sc will be high again, it's a downhill from weeks and weeks way before the btc fork drama and never recovered after

You are right, Ripple is a good option, I'd also suggest NEM, I think there is a pump coming for it the way the graph has moved so far.
Another good option would be DGB, really low at the moment for its true value and will definitely adjust to a higher value soon.

For short termi expect a good move from DGB, You can check DCR as well it also dropped so much.
For long term, ETC, waves and IOTA are very cheap.  ;)

im my perspective XRP is one you can invest with also try NEM... if NEO will goes down a bit try also that coin but of course it is good to buy altcoin when they are low prize because we cannot tell when that coin will increase again... this is the good time to buy and invest to alt coin....just check there history first before buying .... good and great people in the forum will help you decide but dont take their advise.

Look at the top markets and invest on the cheap ones. Make sure you know about the coins and check how much potential they have. Don't invest on those shit coins where they just pump/dump and dies after weeks. You might find people on this forum where they might influence you to invest on those shit coins.

You should check the coins which don't rise after the last dump but if you're looking for long term investment it changes, stratis below $10 is always cheap to buy.

It's like the gold market, when price is down, people loose interest when it's actually a perfect time to start hoarding.
I'd say there is a decent likelihood that BTC will hit a plateau at which time altcoins will have an easier time to grow vs Bitcoin.
Right now it looks like a lot of coins are bottoming out. I guess they could start falling again but we've seen such dramatic drops that it makes me wonder how much further they could fall? If we're not at the bottom now, it can't be very far from it?
I'm talking a bout well know "solid" coins naturally, pump/dump one hit wonders could just as well just fall off the map. I try to stay away from those...

But back on topic...
We all have our personal favorites and reading threads like these most of the usual suspects get mentioned.
ETH, NEO, ARK, XMR, XRP, SC, STRAT, VIA, WAVES and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch as well. I'm actually missing proponents for GNT and NXT, I haven't seen many posts suggesting them as presenting any opportunities, maybe they are part of the crowd that will fade away?
I was sort of surprised to see BLK mentioned but hey, maybe this is the right time to get in on that?
It's all a crap shoot atm anyway.

I think ETC is one of the cheapest yet promising altcoin available in the market right now. It's value right now is 0.0030 BTC which is real cheap. You can also get DASH at really cheap price right now.

I'll admit I actually did purchase some DASH myself because of the low price, but I'm starting to second guess myself. Let's hope DASH too rises soon. :)

Don't dump those two since it still got potential. Check out other top coins that are dumping at the moment, there is a chance to profit in them after btc rally stops. Also I recommend waves, stratis and encryptotel they are quite underpriced now in my opinion. Also there is a good chance in ltc, it got quite stable for some time now and I think it is still underpriced at the moment.

For me, if you want to invest long term but definitely want to make a good profit then XRP, XVG, RDD, MINT are the best choice now because these altcoins are very cheap compared to a few months ago, This will increase your profits in the next few years and you should be calm about investing in these altcoins

I think Verge will go up to 200 Satoshis these days. You could get it for around 50 Satoshis yesterday.

You may check few coins that which promising profit and big potential in my own perception.

I don't think so although the price is very cheap XVG but the number of sellers more than the buyer, this will make the XVG very difficult to return to the price of 2000sts and we should be patient waiting for the coming days.

these are the coins that i'm watching and currently trading. but it depends upon on your market perspective.

Because they move through BTC investment so the price of BTC is very high they do not trust much on ALTICOIN

When you guys think will be the west time to buy into EOS considering continuing disbursement and resulting price decline?

I am also watching tether, it will burst in 2350 lol. I think Neither of them are cheap in your list, there are many great very cheap coins like guppy and ptoy

in my opinion, wave, stratis and a new coin pura have good potential of rising.

A lot of the small marketcap coins are now on a good oppertunity to buy, mainly infx, pkb, adst and maybe janus, not quite sure though

I think most of all coins on poloniex are cheap now due too pump of btc but the most dumped coins now due to big pump of a last few months are DGB, XRP, STR and SC because it takes too much hyped on the market and then goes down fast in this month but i think it will comeback soon after the uptrend of Bitcoin.

I still survive by holding ETH and Waves, also some Strat. Because, from many discussions here i draw conclusion these three altcoins have excellent potential and have professional developers, making them worthy of an alternative when btc high as now.
