I'm ahmed9979. I was hacked a few hours ago and I'm sure of that since it says that my email was recently changed on my original account's trust rating page. Please, help me. How can I reclaim my account?

Send a message to Theymos. This is the only way. Just quote that post immediately before it get deleted.

It is best to look for a staked address and sign a message from it, and then post it in this thread. Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0.

You are out of luck. I don't think you have any staked address.
This makes it very difficult to convince the admins to recover your account.

I spoke with ahmed9979 on Slack and I confirm that his account was compromised.
(My confirmation is a result of what Ahmed told me on a Slack.)
I sent a link to meta thread to Ahmed and sent him my security recommendations.

I hope he will get his account back soon.


ahmed9979 if you have problems with recovering your account because no staked address:
If ahmed still has an access to the address which I know for sure was in his control 2 years ago then I can sign a message where I will write his old address.

Patience. Admins have a lot to do so kindly wait. Some cases like this waited for weeks or even months before they recover it while some are lucky that they get it in days. Also don't barrage them with pms.

Recovering forum accounts is the least priority for the admins.At this point,you should be ready to compromise a couple of months or maybe a year or whatever it takes to wait until the admins recover the account.There is no timeline,all you can do is wait.If you still wish to continue contributing to the forum,start with a fresh account.

OMG this problem like a me, my account got hacked too
i think the hacker is same people because my account and you got hacked date 15 august

i don't think admin gives a fuck about hacked account, my account got hacked like 2 weeks ago. sent pm admin never reply
