Post by: Tanjib on August 15, 2017, 10:56:16 PM
Hi, I'm new to this forum, I would like to know how to buy Bitcoin through neteller, since I'm from India so I can't use any uk exchanges which allows me to buy. There is few sellers in local Bitcoin but the lowest rate is around 5000 when Bitcoin is 4100. Do they negotiate or any other options? Plz help if possible

have you tried open an offer in 'Currency Exchange' Board ?
here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
in there you can try to trade your neteller saldo into Bitcoin with other people,
indeed, local bitcoin is the best place for you to do a trade, you're familiar with them and if something goes wrong you can contact them.
but,you can hire an escrow as a middle man for your trade in that Board for your safety.
many people using escrow to ensure their trade and succeed dealing with it.
so,choose it.

1.i prefer to do a trade in local exchanger,if it's not possible.
2.go to Currency Exchange board and make an offer in there, after that hire an escrow for your trade

I find that you'll usually be able to sell skrill for much better rates compared to Neteller. You might want to deposit into skrill first using your neteller funds and then exchange your bitcoins. Usually you'll get around 75-80% for your skrill.

If you have large amounts, why not just withdraw the sum into yoru bank account and then buy bitcoin with bank transfer or a cash deposit? You'll usually avoid lots of fees that way and the rates are way better.

Otherwise if you want to do a p2p trade, you just have to cope with the fees. Compared the deals between paxful and localbitcoins, sometimes one platform is less expensive than the others. I've also heard that coincorner accepts neteller but i'm not sure whether their rates are competitive or not.

If they are buying via neteller they ont need an escrow for their safety its the seller who needs escrow to cover potential chargeback.  I should imagine as buying through neteller sellers will only allow you to purchase small amount until trust is built.

Other form of online currency like Paypal,Payza Skrill and neteller will cost maybe 20% of principal amount in able to convert it on BTC. So OP must expect that the price on P2P especially on localbitcoins is too much high for neteller payment. I saw some trusted user on Marketplace that accepting paypal/skrill payment for BTC, Try zazarb service and ask him if he offers conversion of netteler to BTC, But expect a 5-10% fees smaller compared to localbitcoin.

yes I looked into that too but it's still 12-15% above normal price and to transfer from neteller to Skrill I have to pay 3% and also 1% if I try to cash it out with huge spread. Actually it takes a lot of days to transfer fund to my bank account so trying to figure out a better option.

yeah I know, there are 3 main wallet/exchanges out here, if I have to cash out a bit then they are the only option but they have huge spread. anyways the thing is I have some cash in neteller so that's the prob, it takes a long time to transfer to the bank. paxful is worst than local bitcoins, they are charging 30%. the lowest rate is 5550. is there anything you recommend?
