do you mean bitcointalk account?, because there are no account on bitcoin wallet, there is only a wallet and a passphrase to protect it, if they hack your passphrase they can steal your coins yes, but they can not hack directly your address if that what you mean

Your question needs clarification. Are you pertaining to your account here in bitcoin forum? Or your wallet address where you keep your bitcoins?

If its your account here in bitcoin then Its perfectly safe as long as you dont share your password. And remember to log it out after your done using it especially if your using a public computer.

When it comes to your wallet then you shouldnt share any of its details to anyone. You should always open your wallet in your personal phone or computer to avoid other people in gaining access to it. Its okay to share your wallet's address but its better if your going to give that kind of information to legitimate campaigns.

This is incorrect question. Bitcoin for now is impossible to hack. But services that gave you access to bitcion can be hacked.

Bitcoin is completely dependent on internet where hacking is highly possible. When it comes to bitcoin its not completely secure. We're supposed to keep our bitcoin in the better and secure wallets available. For me blockchain wallet is suggested as I'm a beginner without much backing.

You are missing some basic informations about bitcoin in general.
Bitcoin basically can't be hacked. Miners/users and developers are keeping it safe.
You can only make mistake urself to loose them.

Well, this is my very first post about bitcoin, and i am missing a ton of basic information so far.
I did some research and see the ongoing hype about the coin.
Some questions prevented me successfuly to jump in so far, and i am little pissed for that.

1. First i need a wallet, what is a piece of software, done by ppl i dont know (and should trust).
2. The wallet creates me my private key (i did it offline, to prevent a leak asap).
3. The wallet generates and need to store my private key anywhere (my harddisk).
Who the hell grants me, that i am not totaly slave of their algorithm?

4. Input of Fiatmoney isnt that easy, i tried with Visa, but it was a total mess.
The financial service of Genesis Mining wantet do dump a Magliter into my ass after a successfull "verified by Visa" process... crazzy.

Nevertheless i am pretty excited about Bitcoin and want to enter (so late).
I am biting my ass now, because i knew about BTC since @ ~$3US

I think i depends if you are secure on your account like if you have two step verification code, you did not researched the sites that you placed your bitcoin address.  ;D

Tnx Dj@ngo for answer,

but this wasnt my concern.
My concern starts at the moment of creating my wallet.
Who does what mathematics and leave me alone with the secret, the software told me???

I must be very noob, trusting any software downloaded from IN and paying decent amount to this wallet then.

The perfect fraut would be to generate tons of wallets to the public for free and storing all their private keys at developers server.

Please community,

can anybody advise me in getting an wallet, generated offline by fair piece of software?

Stil open quest:
The private key cannt get compromised by signing my future first payment from my offline wallet, and why?
Any signing software has to know that key, i cannot sign by hand.

Perhaps i am too noob to understand any, but my concerns are stil there...

tnx 4 advise, Ego

sorry 4 not talking native

It depends on the bitcoin service that you are currently using, only use trusted apps that are fully recommended.

Please re-open this thread with a specific question so people can answer your question properly. Now you just get a bunch of repeating questions from signature spammers/account farmers.
