Title: AMD Crimson ReLive [Suspicious link removed]pute
Post by: pigfrown on August 16, 2017, 06:03:28 PM
edit: The forum thinks the AMD link is a suspicous link, you can google  the title of this thread to find the download (on the official AMD site)

This looks very encouraging... shame it's windows only :( Hoping AMD will release a linux version soon.

In the meanwhile, can any windows users shed some light on this? Is this a drop in replacement driver for amdgpu-pro 17.30? What kind of hashrate increases (if any) are people seeing.

It seems to be mostly about fixing the "DAG epoch big hashrate drop" in ETH mining.

No idea at this point if it is more efficient on anything else, and with no LINUX version I have no way to test it (I'm NOT going to risk my gaming machine to a new BETA driver that even AMD is stating "no support or future fixes" for).
