Post by: firmaperture on August 16, 2017, 09:38:47 PM
Hello Everybody
I sent coins from my Electrum account more then 14 hours ago.
The transaction still pending.
Here is transaction id: 1384410951c3ac37dff257ce70dab1964b9933ccd52f37d6fb3ec9891d7456ca
Any idea what is going on?

Any way to speed up this transaction?

If you read the link you can sign up for an account at ViaBTC to get more submissions. Either that or try again in an hour. Latest Electrum should not let you send a tx with a too low fee you need to update to latest release most likely. Use dynamic fees and RBF.

Hello,

Despite dynamic fees, my latest transactions toke also few hours to be completed yesterday.
So, I guess the network is a little bit slow at this time.

Regards

the network is not slow, it is working as it should and same number of blocks are being found as always with the same size.
what is different is the number of transactions that are happening. in other words the number of transactions in mempool waiting to be confirmed has gone up drastically (probably a big part of it is a spam attack again) and this means miners will choose the highest paying transactions first and then go to high fees and medium fees.
