Is this troll post?

I take it that means I've asked a very stupid question.  :(

Well, you are pretty close to that. Basically you have to read some more. A lot more. And the fact you don't know anything about the computer internals is not helping.
Also, these are quite generic things answered over and over again. I will try to give you a general direction and from there you should really do your homework.
Keep in mind that you can search basically anything in this forum with google by adding to the end of your search words this: site:bitcointalk.org

I'm currently mining Monero on my desktop at a rate that has gotten me 0.0001 Monero over the course of 24 hours. I know that Monero mining is different from other mining, so what would I need to do to my computer in order to allow it to mine more and faster?

Do I need to add a bigger hard drive? Fast internet connection? What is H/s, CPU and GPU?

I've seen some motherboards being listed on eBay as "Monero Miners" but I don't know enough about this to trust random eBay sellers, which is why I came here for answers.

Thanks!

CPU is your processor, processing unit.. maybe names like Intel ring a bell.
GPU is your graphics card.

Monero is mined with processor, or graphics card, or both. A very good processor, a very good gaming graphics card will make you mine faster.
But they also use electricity, so before mining a calculation has to be done, else you may end up paying more to the electric company than the mined Monero worth.

So, you have to search for mining profit calculators. You have to search which GPU has better mining performance (hash rate H/s) per Kilowatt/Hour. You have to find out how much you pay for electricity and add it to the math. You have to make sure you keep your room properly cooled to not burn your GPU and your house.
CPU mining usually doesn't worth it, but you have to do the calculations too.

Quite some work to do, I know.

I asked if its troll post because he has bigger activity on forum than I do (so one would expect he lerned something by now),
and he also claimed to study computer sciences in another post

Wow :(
Thanks.
I didn't really study his background before answering. I always think that if I don't help the poster, maybe I help others that search for the same topic. And with this price of Bitcoin, I expect many to try to mine alts and sell for Bitcoin...
Still sad to see trolls in action when many others have good intentions..
