Title: How?
Post by: Lyancy001 on August 17, 2017, 05:56:18 PM
May I know if how can you see an altcoin when it can move its price high enough? Example: if its price is 10 sat, is it possible that someday its price would be go high to 1000sat?

No one knows.  If there was such a thing, everyone would be rich.  Just do your own research on the projects and if it looks good to you, invest in it and be patient.

^^ What he said! There is no secret formula for success, be it cryptos or any other investment space!

You will never know unless you are a part of their groups, the same pumping groups, a few big companies or whales put millions and even billions on

Some altcoins to pump their prices while they have almost all of the supplies and will just wait for idiots to invest, that's when they dump their shitcoins

There is no way of knowing whether a coin is being traded between 2 complete strangers or it's just 1 person with his partner trading with each other.

Never believe those prices displayed on coinmarketcap, always witness everything related to the generation and distribution of any coin you want to

Invest, it's so easy to list a coin on a few exchanges and promote it here. even ICOs are not trusted completely. if it was that easy I would've been a

Millionaire since I own millions of different shitcoins.

This is the very main reason why we call this a risk. Investing in any coin is like turning to a blind curve; you'll never know what's ahead. No one knows if its value will rise or go down or even shoots up or reach 1k. The only thing we can do is invest, wait, and hope its value will go high.

Right on point.
There should be a pinned thread named "How to become a millionaire".
The first post should be "We don't know and stop asking".

is it possible? yes of course.
can we know before it happens? yes but not that long before.

there are reasons for altcoins rising. most of which are pumping reasons. if you can gain enough experience to see why some coins rise you can also figure out those rises and make profit from them.

for example the ICO thing for ethereum was a clear pumping reason. before the pump happened you could see all the new ICOs start up and each asking for absurd amount of money, the money that could only get in through ETH tokens = obvious pump = good opportunity before it starts meaning buy at 0.007-0.01BTC IIRC

or the NEO name change was kind of an obvious pumping opportunity. you could have gotten in before it happens.

there are also some stuff you can read from the charts too. as i said it is all experience it is not something that fits in a comment.

Join few communities, see what people are talking, read up, and make an educated decision.

i can say with near confidence that in 90% of the times, when these "communities" are talking about something with such enthusiasm that is a pretty good sign that it is already too late to buy that altcoin and they are in fact bagholders trying to get rid of their bags

I don't normally quote or like posts that are this edgy but it's true more people are coming into crypto with the preconception that it's a get rich scheme.  It's impossible to know, but I wonder how many people are here because they want a monetary system that's decentralized and free from government intrusion versus those that heard people are driving 'lambos' because of Bitcoin!

it's very unlikely, it's random otherwise everyone would be rich lol, there is really no way to know but you can tell that if there are many buyers always at the same value they are accumulating, this si a good sign of a pump for me

Crypto is the best opportunity for people to become rich, I agree that there are no formula. But if you know how to review a project/token vision and plans for development you will already have an idea if the coin you invested has a potential to grow or not.

I think some of you are being too harsh :P Human being are greedy and lazy by nature, else there would be millionaires everywhere.

Threadstarter is asking a simple question which requires a simple answer, that's all. Yes, it's most definitely possible to see an alt coin rise from 10 sats to 1000 sats (x100). A good recent example would involve IOTA, OMG, and NEO depending on which period you bought in basically.
