Just got a notification from ICOLert on an upcoming Altcoin called "FAT Coin". It basically pays people to lose weight. Their ICO will launched tomorrow August 18th.

The idea makes a lot of sense...hope it suceeds.
It should probably rebrand to "Fitness Coin" or something as people not overweight or obesed would likely use its Application

Who will pay to those who lose their weight? What is the benefit for developers when someone lose the weight? I don't think the ICO will be successful.

He/she could easily have the site improved before ICO. Weird

Weight-loss is a huge industry and people will pay a fortune to learn how to get skinny and/or lose weight. The idea to pay people for losing weight is interesting. I will check it out and keep an eye on this ICO. Thanks for posting, OP! :)

What benefits will the developers get from developing this coin? The idea is great but how will they even earn if they will pay those who lose weight? Instead of paying them why not make it a service with detailed guide for ever person to how to lose weight and those who use the service would have to pay them? And the one who lost weight the most will be paid that way the developers would earn from it.

Absolutely dumb idea! You have much higher risk to die earlier if you're too fat and ppl still do nothing with extra weight the own.

Dumb name. It just make thinks that only fat people should lose weight. All people should be physically fit so I agree about your suggestion changing its name to fitness coin.

Fatcoin promote fitness and help people to be healthy.  I will try to use it when I go jogging.

Just wondering how quickly the coin become popular, and how fast it will grow, cause its more fun than just something serious, but who knows.

I like the concept and knowing lots of people want to get their self-esteem/confidence by been in shape ,it could get a lot of support and easily become one of the biggest crypto projects. 

IMO the "FAT Coin" name isnt  so catchy they definitely need to think of rebranding the name to get support for the project

I hope too and its good ,i think many people who wants to lose their fats will join on this. I am hoping that their roadmap will be done accordingly and it doesn't disappoint the investors ,Its more than a coin its just a cost the future is much in need.

Stressful but worth it. I'm so happy that I belong here together with you for earning money with these altcoins. I'm being mad easily when I did not met what I wanted to my coins or being regret of undecided trades.

Do you think we have to be aware on our body? Yes, it is. Focusing on your laptop everyday will make your body unfitted and social life will remain complicated because you make your own world or in short you wanted to be alone.

Although I know nothing about it at all, the general concept is interesting to say the least... however I'm gonna swerve this one for the reason above.

How about an airdrop for thin people.? I mean why not. We can't get these coins as we don't have anything to lose. Let's see what the developers say about this. The idea may be noob but there are lots of people who want to gain coins for anything.

I really like the idea of this project, but i dont think that they will succeed, because of no advertisment campaign and as was walready mentioned low website quality. I don`t think that it is a SCAM, mostly looks like a project from one person, who is really intrested in bringing this idea to people.

Good idea but I think it will be easy to scam the app, it is too difficult to monitor your activity and weight unless you have lots of tracking gadgets stuck to your body.

This sounds really weird. Who would pay money for someone they don't know to lose weight? And couldn't you easily cheat? This doesn't sound legit. Too bad if it was legit, it would only apply for Americans, because the rest of the world isn't as overweight as them.

This is actually good because cryptocurrency would be introduced to fat people as an incentive. Most traders that I know are either skinny or lean, it is very rare for traders to be fat because they tend to skip meals and they put their money in the portfolio instead of food.

I think that coin will fade away as appeared, i don't see any future for this coin.

I think at this point in crypto and especially altcoins, people are looking for any niche possible where they can add a crypto angle and raise funds for an ICO. And there are plenty of people who feel like they'll miss out again if they don't invest in these shitty coins so there's enough money out there looking for something, anything to invest in.

We need a big 'reset' so that weak hands and scam projects are flushed out of the crypto world.

There's too many ICO and it's getting hard to determined which is best and which is seems to be a shitcoin. Some potentials project were covered by those shitcoins that are good in advertising. We better research on our investment.

Ahahaha, you are 100% right, the crypto world is so stressful that I have to spent almost all the part time to it, that really make me very tied and finally, I lost some weight. I do not know if this is good to my health.

I think this a great idea paying people to lose weight and be fit. Question is what do investors get from this project? Giving money to people to get fit and not getting anything in return. We need more information about this, I personally think that this will fail, but it's a good idea regardless.

I cant see the idea clearly. What relationship does altcoin and losing wait has?..I think this wont be a nice investment.

The not showering part is really a serious problem for market watchers. I have once stayed good 2days without taking a bath especially when the market is not going "the right way".

The details are to complex to explain here. I'd advise you download ICOLert on playstore, (click on August 17th on the App calendar) and  search for the ICO there. I noticed that their website didn't explain things well enough.

That was my first reaction when i saw this thread,peoples make up everything,in this case the weightloss is a very rare subject for the topic of altcoins.
