Title: S9 ten minute boot (to hashing) times... Post by: MinerSRQ on August 17, 2017, 07:04:07 PM I have an S9 that's taking 10 minutes to boot to hashing.
Is this normal? My other Sx boot much quicker. See the hardware/file info below. Should I attempt to update the firmware? I'm not terribly concerned with the slow boot, but I'm more thinking it's a bad filesystem or something causing it to hang. ? Post by: fanatic26 on August 17, 2017, 07:56:13 PM Its completely normal. I have had machines that take up to 45 minutes to start hashing after a full cold boot power cycle.

Firmware is Fri Jul 21 05:15:25 EDT 2017 Antminer-S9-all-201708151137-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz This is look like a never firmware should i upgrade ? Still searching if found any one succes update for this batch (16.3.8) i will go further because now it is works without issue.

My apologies - yes, I mean failed to upgrade, however, it's still running on the older firmware. |
