Do we need to somehow verify our account to withdraw from Cryptopia to our own wallet?

No, you don't need any verification other than clicking the link in your email box to confirm the transfer, to be sure it is originated from you, as a security... however, there is a limit of 5000$ daily after what you will need to upload your id card to become verified to the next level

This guy @LeGaulois already answered you, but you better verify your account, I know you should not deliver documents to unknown people on the internet, but you do not have the option.

Why? Daily limit for unverified account is 5000$, only if he wants to withdraw more than this he must verify account. With verification he can withdraw max 50000$ daily.
He has option not to verify account and not give personal information if he doesn't want to.

How long does it take for cryptopia to lvl 2 verification ?
If it takes more than a day, then in principle it does not make sense.  :(

Most of time its works very quickly because I done my verification on few exchanges without any problem just in one day so don't worry just upload you documents and wait hope this will done for you very quickly without any problem

Instead of verifying ID, one could deal with lower funds and more than one exchangers. As we see on Bittrex and Poloniex, it is not secure to entrust huge amounts.

Can you explain how it's not secure to trust poloniex? Did they have any problem in past?

It's a fkn joke. No exchange should be able to limit how much you can withdraw. This is as bad as a bank. HitBTC has no limits and no verification bullshit. Been waiting over 1 week and I need level 3 so I have no max withdrawal. Fkn pissed. I was able to send as much as I want to the exchange and now they have it held hostage.

So its 5k a day without verification.  Is that withdrawing only?  thus withdrawing btc or any other coin?


hitbtc doesn't require any verification at all?  Are you serious about that?  what about the fees?

ID verification is during the time of withdrawal or it needs to be verified before that? How much time it may take to get our ID verified? What are valid documents for it?

If you have amount more then 5000$ then you have to complete verification before withdrawal otherwise its not going to work for ID verification you need Passport/driving license and Utilitybill/bank statement most of time they complete this with in 72 hours but some time take more then this

Most people did already answer this thing which it not really necessary for you to send any documents for verification as long you didn't able to hit up their daily limit. If you do only transact lesser on the limit then it should be fine for you to stay unverified account but if you are already making such big transactions then you would really need to comply the things they are asking for verification which is usually they do need id,documents that do confirm your identity.

Verification is one ID and one picture of you holding the ID, on top of name, address, DOB, the usual.
