Anyone know what has raised the price of BCH up by 70% today to go over $500 today? Is it the HODLers making supply limited? Is it the Chinese?

holding  both btc and BCH is the best choice ,because no one know which one will win

Someone is pumping those coins!

I Think real reason behind this sudden surge in bitcoincash is high hopes/speculation from new investors. Bitcoincash is mined by only few miners who are strong supporters of BCH so they might not sell any new BCH they will mine for really long time that might also limit total supply. But still many bitcoin holders haven't dumped their free BCH and now we might get another huge wave of dump from those holders.

It will be 1:1 within a few months before Bitcoin Core will be destroyed.

I couldn't watch this rally without doing anything, so I just sold a chunk of my BCH and bet the BTC from it on bitcoin still having the #1 crypto market cap at the end of the year. :)

You have to prove your statements with some evidence that Bitcoin Core will be destroyed.
Anyway,i was so stupid that i sold all my bitcoins before the fork and now i don`t have Bitcoin Cash and more expensive Bitcoin Core.I`m making so many trading mistakes,this makes me mental.
Bitcoin is so strong that the forked altcoins like BCH remain stong and didn`t get dumped. ;D

BCH price increase has a nice effect this proves that there is still demand and there are interested on BCH market and I will continue to hold it.

It is very nice to see this coin raise in price cause it helps other altcoins to be priced high levels. Nearly all altcoins affect each other as I observe from markets.

but other altcoin dump so much in contrast, the market is so changeful that noone can know what will happen next second, most probably, the front in the cao list like btc or eth will suck blood from other coins, especially btc

The whales are trying to hype the coin. So maybe that is one of the reasons or they want to increase its value in the coinmarket.

They are now slowly making their move. I already speculate on this, big whalers will slowly put cash on BCH and will pump this coin and suddenly dump it. Also there are big backers of this coin who may been putting new cash just to show that they are here the coin is here to stay. Its good though, at least for those who are still holding it will take the profit and go and stick to bitcoin again. Other than that, just small casual investors who is also putting money, but later when the dump happen, they will be trap. LOL.

This is temporary spike up price and in a short time the price will dip and take a huge plunge as far as my study goes. As of now its artificially price rise without backing any prominent news of the rise. So its basically a pump and dump policy and users buying it now if fail to sell at right price may incur loss. So be sure to do your research before entering at this price.

That's what it feels liked to me too, who really knows why it's being pumped, I didn't see any new news that would instigate such a rise...its very suspicious of you ask me

It's because there will be a difficulty shift tomorrow, and they are hoping to attract miners to mine it. High price and low difficulty means much profit for the miners.

Of course if lots of miners shift from bitcoin to bitcoincash, then that creates problems for bitcoin.
