The problem is that litecoin doesn't do anything that other coins don't do. If you want segwit, you can use bitcoin. If you want big blocks you can use bitcoincash. If you want fast confirmations you can use steem, if you want smart contracts you can use ether, if you want inflation, you can use doge.

What does litecoin offer than no other coin offers?

In advance it´s assumed that its high or low value is not in precisely linked to what is currently offering respect to the others and maybe this is the case of the vast majority of alts.

Actually the litecoin offers nothing to the users, remember the bitcoin doesn't get the segwit and the bitcoin users will use the litecoin as a second option, but this time especially with the appeared of the bitcoin cash and that makes the litecoin will be more useless and no demand. And i think that makes a lot of people are trying to move to the another coin.

That's Right, litecoin is still far away by its competitors that is the coin your mentioned. But seeing from the price he is stable, I think litecoin worth the calculation increase can reach 2x from the current price. Because those who move in litecoin are great people

Litecoin is just a good alternative coin for Bitcoin (not all the time, just when Bitcoin network faces with issues). Not all coins holders are traders/investors, people use coins to buy and sell things online everyday. Litecoin is just similar to Bitcoin but faster and has cheaper tx fee

Litecoin founder, Charlie Lee, says too that litecoin is much cheaper to use in daily transactions such as buying coffee.
LTC usually implements features like segwit and lightening ahead of bitcoin so is good in technology as well.

Good hype. Although it is green today with just 2% jump. So I don't know how will it go to the price. I guess the price is really good to buy, but I would go the position to put a lot of investment on it. Its been painfully seeing the price movement of LTC that I don't think it will make a significant price jump this year.

And coins like doge and steem are cheaper still (steem has no fees at all).

If you look at the transactions, there are only about 17,000 transactins done in a 24 hour period, so people arn't really using it. It's ethereum that is being use a lot (a lot more than bitcoin itself)

We'll have the second version of wallets for ios and android. Yes, there are some improvements but I honestly don't think that this is enough for the price to grow all of a sudden. This video is just about an anniversary update, nothing more.
True. Litecoin isn't offering anything special. I believe it is valued mostly because of it being quite good and really old. It has been second best after bitcoin for a long time and people still trust it even though it doesn't offer something outrageous. Yet I think this will keep people using ltc and the price slowly growing anyway.
