Title: [Mining] Am I solo mining corectly? Post by: bahamapascal on May 19, 2013, 01:00:51 PM Yesterday when the new Nibble lounched I thought I would test and see if my solomining works, so that when the MC2 (Netcoin) is being released I can start solo mining with (hopfully) no problems.
I miened with cgminer and cudaminer at the same time. Here are the results I got: https://i.imgur.com/HNqjk6F.png?1 Is this how it should look like? What I notice, cgminer says "No suitable long-poll found for LocalHost:9991", is that normel when solo mining? https://i.imgur.com/EhMJPmm.png?1 As it seems, CudaMiner has finaly found a block....problem is that it never showed up in my Nibble-qt client :( Any Idea why? Thanks in advanced!!! Title: Re: [Mining] Am I solo mining corectly? Post by: Dexterity on May 19, 2013, 01:04:07 PM Orphaned block...

Thanks! Title: Re: [Mining] Am I solo mining corectly? Post by: one4many on May 19, 2013, 03:07:34 PM I recommend not to solo mine ... unless you have a few TH/s at your hand.

But see, you won't have a few TH/s at hand without mining. :) Title: Re: [Mining] Am I solo mining corectly? Post by: bahamapascal on May 19, 2013, 03:48:54 PM Yes I know, Poolmining is the way to go, but normally when a New Coin launches there are no Pools available until the difficulty has risen to an amount where I (with my 36 Kh/s) cant mine any substantial amount...
So my hope is, that when MC2 (Netcoin) launches, that I will hopefully get at least some coins...though it might just be wish full thinking |
