Although many of those who enter this section are experienced in the world of betting, it never hurts to establish a series of guidelines that must be followed  if we want not only to win money with bets, but also to maximize Performance and optimize our efforts.

Here are my advice in summary form:



Tip 1: Never bet more than you are willing to lose. Bets have a component of chance and this is only mitigated in the long run, so never bet amounts that you can not lose because bad spins exist.


Tip 2: Always bet without telling your emotions or feelings. Seeing events from a distance and without being influenced by feelings is absolutely essential to being a winning bettor.


Tip 3: Before opening an account at a bookmaker, study what may be the best for you and your betting. There are bookmakers that specialize in certain sports and other more general, that is why you should evaluate the events offered by different bookmakers before choosing one.


Tip 4: Always bet on leagues or events for which you have a lot of information. Information is power and the more you have the more chances you will have to hit.


Tip 5: Study all you can about the technical aspects of sports betting. There are great tipsters who lose or have lost with sports bets because they do not apply or do not know the basic pillars.


Tip 6: Take advantage of bookmakers' bonuses. This is a very good way to start in the betting world, since you get extra money (the bonuses) and also you get acquainted with the bookmakers and their multiple options.


Tip 7: Plan your sports betting. It is important that you analyze everything that concerns sports betting and what is a betting day. This aspect is very important especially in the live betting, where you can get to lose big amounts of money for not having made a previous planning.


Tip 8: Avoid overbetting. Many times in the good races we tend to bet more than we should because many times we can invade a feeling of invincibility. The good spells are over, but by practicing the overbetting you will shorten them even more. It is also not advisable to bet to recover since that leads irreparably to bankruptcy.

Take care of your bankroll to the maximum since it is your work tool and as such is the fundamental piece.


Tip 9: Never bet on an event more than one stake 10. It often happens that there are bets that seem very clear to us and we can make the mistake of including it in several combinations. That should be avoided completely since even the safest event can be lost. Also this error is committed when bet in a match to several possibilities (like under / over of goals and a result of 1X2).

that is a good advice from you, thank you but i think you should add one more which is the most important thing that we should concern. that is don't be greedy if you have your win because if you continue to place a bets too big confident then you might be loss your money and you need to know when you must stop.

Great guide for newbie/new gambler, they must know about it before gambling. in my opinion after they follow all of this guide, im sure they will know how to earn money from gambling. Good work man, keep it up may be you need to write this on blog.

these are good tips but once the gambler gets addicted he will ignore all these tips and will go with his addiction. He will just ignore everything you said.

Worth to read this, especially to those who already have an experience, for sure they already experience it, like me, some of it already experience it. And it is funny at the same time while I am reading it, newbies can also have an idea for this tips, but maybe some addicted gamblers will just ignore this and still play with no limits.

I know right, gamblers once experienced or managed to won some money or profit or bitcoins will become unstoppable.

That is the only thing that will make them break this tips. As we all know experience is always better than this suggested and written tips, also experience is the reason why this tips will be of no value.

A good read for a newbie here but I think you should remove the spins or games of luck here as they are projected to beat the player in the long run. I agree with you for the sports betting tips although I would add here, to never bet on a team who plays for nothing, they usually destroy every bet. All in all a good guide for newbies and inexperienced bettors.

Yes the OP is still JR Member, but he learned many things in gambling, this post will tell how much experience he had in this gambling. And this suggestion is only for those entering this gambling world freshly. not for addicted gamblers. Those who have experience in gamlbing they all experince it in there real life including me. overall yes it's worth to read good job OP.

That is correct. When people are addicted then mostly they will not follow any preset rules instead they will only listen to their emotions and continue gambling until they lose all their bankroll. Gambling is designed like that which most of the gamblers can't avoid and they will realise only after they lose all their money but by then it will be too late.

Open has done a good work that clearly describes the effect of gambling. Very few stick to these stepped limitations. Even when users stick to it, in the mean time the user goes out of control on getting random wins. So for statement this might be good, but in reality hard to implement.

I want to add some about this tip. Be careful when taking bonuses because there could be hidden requirements that they won't mention always ask every detail before taking any bonus.

Absolutely, gambling addicts will ignore all these tips. Gambling addicts usually do not listen to suggestions given by others. They usually just want to do what they want regardless of what others say.

very helpful guidelines its a must to understand those information before letting yourself to go and do your gamble this guidelines will allow you to lessen
your chances of being broke instead giving some edge to analyze whether you are already in a good shape to play, its always better to understand the floe

well this guide is big thumbs up but im going to stick out on my strategy. when im playing gambling i don't deposit all my money into it. also im having a limits to my self to decrease my greediness on gambling and also i always count 1,2,3 before betting because if i think for along time im gonne panic and have my mind to fight to each other. and lastly when betting i always study the flow of the game before betting.

Maybe this should be moved to the "beginner and help" section, as this will likely be useful for newbies to gambling. It could prevent them from losing tons of money if they already knew these tips, rules, and guide to gambling. Heck, if I had the chance to know all of these I would not have lost some money to gambling when I started.

Not really, this guide is in the perfect place. The beginner and help section is to help people with different problems they are facing with bitcoin or even altcoins in some cases and not with their gambling problems or habits.

Good tips, but I think a wise gambler knows and gambles with the tips you mentioned. But out there are still many gamblers who need these tips to become a better bettor.

Important guide principally for sports gamblers, as almost all points say about sports betting. Necessarily to follow all these point, but it's not sufficient, if the gambler doesn't know anything about sports even following the guide he won't be able to make profit from gambling. It's needed much more than rules and luck to make profit from sports betting.

Good guide and its very useful for those newbie bettors because if they would able to read these things then they will surely get some idea on their betting habits but these all guides would be useless if a certain person would be already got addicted to gambling.He will surely neglect these things already and seems like he didnt even read it on the past. Strong discipline and applying these things would really help you out.

This is a good guide for bettors who really wanted to earn more in betting but most importantly, they should not be greedy and be contented with their profits because once they became greedy then there is a chance they will just lose all they won. There are many newbies who would just bet because they heard that this team is good and would likely won but then when they lost, they would bet a higher amount that is very risky.

As long as you deposit a small amount to gamble each time when you go for gambling then surely you can minimize your losses. But some people think that they can increase their winning chances if they have a bigger bankroll so they will try to deposit big amount and then later try to control themselves while gambling but most of the time it will difficult to stop when we wanted. Finally, they will lose more than what they planned earlier. So it is always good to gamble with small bankroll amount.

I started betting with bitcoin with 100 $ and converted them to more than 1000 $ in two days so  the bankroll does not have to be always high

This is an excellent guide for newbie and for all the gambler, it is really important to gamble with responsible, always used your clear mind when you want to gamble and gambling is just for fun don't ever try to make a living with gambling and if you are the person who can't accept lose then don't start gambling because gambling is a very addicting thing

There is no guide or bet tips betting means you know the game too much and you sort of get an idea of who the winner will be and you place some funds on that particular team nothing wrong with don't follow guide betting in always from yourself not from someone else if you are sure that team will win bet on it.

those guidelines was very usefull and seems although your rank here still low but you had more experience for sport betting rather than most people in this forum however easy to read but hard to do so because sometimes emotions and greedy always be destroy my bets

Number one should include a bankroll management schedule....it's not really enough to say "never risk more than you're willing to lose."  That's easy to say but hard to pin down in practice because sometimes an event can look so great that we're willing to risk the whole bankroll on it.  The best practice is to set limits based on bankroll percentages....win or lose.

I agree with the guide that have been posted and I think that it is very important for a guidleine to be followed for a bettor. However, it is also imperative that the guidline might be personal as the experiences of one might differ from the other and his or her insticts can play differently to the side of the bettor in regard.

You've laid that out pretty well dude. Number 1 and 2 i think are the most essential among these as if you're able to stick to them, all the others would follow. You probably have a lot of experience in gambling already to come up with these details.

How did you do that if I may ask? That's a pretty huge profit for just playing 2 days.
What kind of games did you play to win that much and on which website?

The most I've won was around 700 dollars.

it should be reviewed well because if not instead of taking advantage it will turned to the other side and it will only cause you to lose
your money or effort so better to make sure that you know what is needed to complete / achieved  about the bonuses.

You shouldn't know read the rules first before take bonuses and cash back, that i know the casino usually will tell us that there is the rules you must completed before you can make a withdraw.

Pretty good guide. This will be a nice sticky actually. This could prevent a lot of newbies losing money the first time they gamble in any gambling site.
I just disagree with the bonuses. Most bonuses on any gambling site, be it a casino or sports book, are all just honey pots. They entice people to deposit
or play more, but actually it is next to impossible to follow their terms.

I would include some references to the expected value formulas and equity calculations.  They are very helpful tools that can be utilized before determining if one wants to risk any of their bankroll.  When and where to gamble are the first steps that should be considered.....understanding "equity" and "expected value" are necessary and advantageous when making those decisions.

The most successful bettors will obviously use a combination of both which are making money by predicting the outcome of a match based on skill and other one is by using information no one else has.
