and hes giving me a fake MyEtherWallet site.

Last time I got a large of fishing emails from slack bot. Beware! One time I've already was caught. Fortunately, address was empty.

Yeah right, lately a lot of fake MEW sites.
Many slack bots send messages containing fake links
But you do not need to worry, it is now very easy to distinguish between real and fake

Too many scammer in the slack, that's why a lot of the team try to make alternative chatroom. Those scammers are trying to make fake address and spread them fake address through the slack. but thanks for the awareness. a lot of member get scammed due to believe with the fake address.

better to Bookmark the main site of the MyEtherWallet.
To be sure too . They are good on imitating the whole components

Exactly I agree with you. Day by day scammer is increasing. They spread out everywhere. A few days ago I heard about Fake Ether address. One of my friends faced a big trouble for it.

A lot have been victimized by this site, be very aware because you might loose a lot of your Ethereum coins. Be very cautious and make sure it is the correct site and corret spelling because tendency of this would be a loss of your coins.

You can check it on left side of the url that indicates it's real company or not.

I always double check the spelling and web address whenever I enter MEW. Check for the certificate and always open it with your bookmarked link in your browser.

I bookmarked the real web site of Myetherwallet, thanks .Now i want to know if virus softeware could change my bookmark to fishing web site.Any one knows?

Yes it is true that many web phising is hanging around, preferably before running it check the website address or can save the original link do not get and make mistakes that should not happen if you are really thorough, thank you already reminded to be more careful.  :)

This my ether wallet clones are not important anymore as everyone is aware of it. Everyone should be very careful because there will be a lot of different unknown scams.

I already too fell for the trick with the purse MyEthWallet, after which I was cleaned up to the goal, although I monitored my wallet for 3 days and quickly deduced from it everything that came, and thanks to this my losses were not much about $ 600

Because of this i will move my money from myetherwallet to another wallet. I will regret it if i will not move as soon as possible because what if i didnt notice that spelling and login in wrong site

It is tries too manipulate the spelling myethterwallet.com. The correct spelling is myetherwallet.com. Little bit different. The phiser insert t. For one who not careful, he will be lost all the asset. There are also many etherwallet advertised via search engine, only click the correct spelling of myetherwallet.com. You can bookmark the address so you will get the address correctly.

A little advice on the MEW wallet:
Do not use it to participate in ICOs. It's too slow.

I bookmarked my eth wallet web site. Suggest you guys to do so, protect our money from fishing website.

This is the thing i do now on which i do really bookmarked the legit myetherwallet.com site which i can easily click it up in my browser without minding any links which do been given online. If you do have noob eyes you would really pass those wrong spelling on the link but if you do have the habit on doublechecking anytime then you would surely notice.This is why we should not really believe so easily on those things which we do see suspicious.Theres no easy money on here.

I admit im lazy and to complacent., cause i never check the spelling or even make a bookmarking on every single wallet i use..i never knew that a slight error on spelling can put your hard earn coins in danger..thats why after reading some safety tips from here,  i will definitely do it immediately..thanks for this valueble information.

Fishing wallet website looks the same as official one , be careful when you use online wallet , check the link carefully .
