I don't think it has much value, maybe registration fee and a bit extra if you are lucky. Most of the interest in cryptocurrencies right now is focused on bitcoin. Besides, I'm pretty sure the plural of Ethereum is Ethereum, so sticking an "s" on the end is quite nonsensical

I don't agree with you as the word Ethereum has a plural and it comes from the greek word αιθέριoς (ethereum) and αιθέρια (ethereums).

All the coins based on the Ethreum blockchain can be called Ethereums.

I am into domaining for few years, and can say from my intuition (experience doesn't work in domaining) that a reseller would offer you in mid xxx to high xxx but if it catches an end user, this can fetch in the higher xxxxx.
Not sure you asked if this out of curiosity or you own the domain, if you own the domain, do hold it fr few years to get a good price.

I believe you could really sell it at 50,000$, If not more. Bitcoin.com is worth 1 million dollar, plural or not doesn't matter If you ask me, because its all about how relevant the word is and from a SEO perspective, Its definitely relevant. If you believe you can develop a service or a blog that is actually worth using/reading then do it, that could increase the value when you decide to sell otherwise just sell it right now. (Its what I would do in your situation)

Rather than asking this question here just create one auction thread with full detail and escrow information in auction category of this forum you will find out how much people will be willing to pay for that name. As ethereum.com is already in auction and its price is quite high for a normal buyer to buy it, might be they will be happy to buy yours for few thousands dollar.

I am not really fan of auctions but if anyone wants to make an offer its welcome either by pm or in this thread.

Btw the domain name was never developed and it has a lot of potential as a developed service.

Just like been said above id see that the value would be lower since Etherium would just remain as etherium even how many times you would make it on plural form because if you do make put on letter s on the end feels like just an another coin in the market. I dont know what would be the value of that domain but im sure it would be lesser than you expected.

Already there are 2 versions of Ethereums:

Ethereum
Ethereum Classic

And hundreds of alt coins based on the ethereum platform.

Ethereums.com might not have any relevance with ethereum clones/forked coins. What you can do is list information about all ethereum based tokens and ongoing ICO for Eth token in that domain just like coinmarketcap but just for eth based tokens.

Yeah you explained the word ethereum correctly.I agree with you but i can't assess on the ethereums com domain as it has no alexa rank and no traffic. Do not know how it can work for a program that is based n bitcoin.Only suitable for ethereum related contents.

I believe that extra "s" would be less worth as it is not looking attractive at all. You might just loos lot of value over there. Someone with third party entity may wanna buy your domain for making their website or service just look like the original Ethereum. It is still worth money but it will take time to sell. The original domain needs to get sold first then your domain will start bidding.

The thing is that is not an extra S at the end it's the plural form!

Example

Fish (Noun) it's both the same in singular or plural form, if you add an s it becomes fishs no meaning!

Ethereum is a word that has a plural.

Ethereum --> Ethereums

This has much difference.

If you own the domain its better to just hold it the price might sky rocket in the future just test your luck out should be worth it.
