i've read a post of it can be cross and step another mile stone for BITCOIN
in the 4rt quarter of 2017 it can cross 500k usd $ or also 1m USD$


what I tought was posible but i think 1M USD $ is way more time to reach than we are currently have now

All that can happen. But we need time, we should pay attention to the development of bitcoin and bitcoin adoption in various aspects.

That's impossible in my opinion, its too much for a coin if its gonna pump up hundred times its current value, it would be nice if it will happen but its impossible if we're talking in just months, there is no reason for Bitcoin to raise its value, it can only happen if each investors is going to give everything for bitcoin and make a unexpected eruption of value but as far as I concern it can never reach $500k just in few months.

I wish it can be.. But unfortunately it's not possible in next some month or next some years. I don't know where you got this news and post here.

bitcoin price will be increase more and more every years.  your prediction will be true after 10 to 12 Years if the train will continue.

So within 4 months, you expect bitcoin to experience over 1000 percent gain (I'm being conservative for the sake of math laziness). Why in the Earth would that happen? Seriously, what fundamental change in basis could occur that would make bitcoin, which is information, the most valuable thing on the planet? And most importantly, who in their right mind would invest in something that is so obviously inflated, without risking complete ruin? This would be the bubble of bubbles; there is no real world asset which has ever performed like this.

There are 16.5 million bitcoins mined so far.Imagine that bitcoin price reached 1 million.
Can you multiply 16.5M with 1M?It`s 16.5 with 11 zeros behind(around 1650 thrillion USD).
The worlds GDP is around 80 thrillion USD(i don`t know the exact number).You can do the math...

Lets wait for bitcoin to cross first the $5,000 Barrier before we jump to $500,000 :)

Besides the fact that this is highly improbable, it would be very difficult for the current infrastructure of bitcoin, even with the upcoming improvements, to optimally sustain such an extreme growth in such a short amount of time.
I have nothing but good expectations of bitcoin, and I think nothing is impossible, but if I were you I would be very wary when reading such predictions.

No chance bitcoin will even get to $100,000 in 2017 let alone $500,000. I'd love to see it but it's way too ambitious to expect those kind of prices this soon.

What ? is that a true prediction, i guess its just an insane prediction for about how many months until december 2017 it was almost a x100 for the current value now .It will happen in tge future some years more but in this year 2017 it is definitely impossible.

I don't think so. that is not a healthy rise for such a short period of time.

it is very simple, the price only goes up based on adoption (growing demand) and that won't grow suddenly from 4K to 500K out of nowhere. so unless US, all the European countries, Middle east, major Asian countries all at once decide to adopt bitcoin like Japan this week, I don't expect 500K this year either. and bitcoin is too big to fake pump it so again it is impossible.

it can happen in the long term though. don't look at the big number, that will scare you. instead look at the fact that there is only 21 million coins (16.5 mil mined so far) and there are billions of people around the world as potential investors.

Wow that is fantastic price I think, but if we review the increase is too big, so if you expect it could happen in this year maybe it will be very difficult, but honestly I and everyone are waiting for it, let's see what will happen when the segwit has been completed .

This made me laugh. I thought the most unrealistic prediction i've read is the bcc going to $500k in 2020. Then, here this thread saying btc going to $500k this year. lol. Op what you've read or where you get that info is 100% false. That is so high to reach for how many months. Even in 10years we can't reach it.

I think its very impossible bitcoin price reach 500k dollars because that amount is very high and for sure it cant happen even you wait 100 years or maybe in the whole time. I think this year 2017 possible price of bitcoin will range at 5000 to 6000 dollars. Its better to buy more bitcoin and for sure you will earn a lot of profit before end of this year 2017 . More bitcoin that you have more money to come with you.

This is indeed a very strange prediction. The price of 500K USD is a huge price, if you look at current opportunities may only be speculated at the price of 10K USD rates until the end of 2017. Bitcoin is very easy to move up and down in some of these times, but it is quite impossible to believe that there will be a high price spike up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in just about 4 months. This looks absurd and ridiculous.

I think 10k would be a great achievement in 2017, 500k is never going to happen. That kind of price is years away, provably even the next halving in 2021 wom't bring 500k bitcoin's.

500k$ is too big, I think if the price of Bitcoin at the end of the year 2017 through 10k$ is a remarkable achievement.
500k$ may occur but it takes 10-30 years to come.

That news cannot be true,maybe in next ten years but in 2017 i think it is not possible.I dont know  who's putting these fake news,but for sure he did do that with one goal,to  increase the price through inaccurate rumors.The execution of these actions on the stock exchange is prohibited because it affects the price,but people on this forum constantly share  fake news.

For 4 months do you really think that bitcoin can reach $500k in that range of time? It's too obvious that we are not going to reach that this year. That is quite an exaggerated type of speculation and I don't want to say that we will be there. It can happen but not this year or even next year.

Too soon buddy, too soon. BTC has the potential to reach 500k or 1M but certainly not in 2017 or maybe even in this decade. I am expecting such numbers after all 21M BTC has been mined, the the price will increase very sharply IMO.

No it wont, not in 2017 and not for a long time if ever. You do realize how much of the world's investment money would have to be eaten up in order for that to happen? I like bitcoin but I think these ridiculous claims hurt and mislead people who dont know about the technology. Also before someone says something like "Thats what people said about it going to 100 when it was at $1", they are not the same thing, one or two small net worth people alone could have pushed the price that high, in order to push bitcoin to 500k you would need the entire world economy to invest.

This won't be happening anytime soon lol. If you know how the market works, you would not be asking such ridiculous questions. Look at the charts and you will know how the pumping works.

Economic wise  $5000 is very possible before the end of 2017 but 1m is what I think is not achievable in 2017 though I think in future   We may get1 million we In 2030. Bitcoin has try to break $4500  through last week unsuccess  and I do believe that  Before the end of 2017 we may get to $6000 as many people are becoming to understand how cryptocurrency work and of a truth the more people understand the better it will be.

Really??? I don't think this would be possible in 2017... Yes it may go up to 5000$ and that too quite soon.Also, most probably it inflate up to 7000$ at the end this year and that would be a marvelous achievement for it.
No doubt it has potential to reach that milestone but not this year or in upcoming next few years but at this moment I don't expect it would be attainable...

Based on bitcoin graph , ofcourse bitcoin able to reach $ 500k / btc but the matter only if whenever the demand will keep increase or not
As we know Japanese holding 40% world transaction , who knows they are able to play the bitcoin price for their advantage

As much as I really want that Bitcoin will reach that amount this, I really doubt that'll happen this year. We are almost at it's 4th quarter and bitcoin price is currently at the range between $3900 -$4100 USD, the amount you are speculating is really far from its current price right now so we should focus on Bitcoins new development. In that way if Bitcoin do have news recently then we would know if Bitcoin price will spike up back again or stay consistent on its price range now.
