is hitbtc reliable?: i don't know what to believe anymore: i've already read on bitcointalk it's a scam and on the contrary that i'ts more reliable than coinbase.

I personally only started using it in the last couple of weeks. I haven't faced any issues until now except one deposit that didn't show up in my wallet but It was a technical issue on their part and got fixed very fast. I've been trading BCH, ETH etc and everything was smooth, the UI and UX are simply awesome. If the accusations you saw were not provided with real proof, I suggest not taking them in consideration.

They were one of the first exchanges to actually offer up bitcoin cash and bitcoin pairs so i used them to dump my bitcoin cash.

It was a smooth experience actually. The deposit went through as soon as enough confirmations were gotten and withdrawal was pretty fast as well.

I've heard about hitbtc being affiliated with scams, but there is really no solid proof tbh. Also, their forum account seems to be currently tagged. The scam accusations are really really old and not sure they have been resolved or not.

I'd say use it with whatever you can lose, or do small transactions at a time.

I have used them few weeks ago to trade some suncontract token and everything works smooth so I think they can be trusted. I got my bitcoin withdrawal instantly and trading volume/price spread is also good there.

I'm personally not so interested in using hitbtc because hitbtc does not run well on devices and browsers I use even though overall I like all the features that are there. I guess if hitbtc can run well on devices and browsers I use maybe I'll use it.

Working well for me, nothing like you. Have you tried with others browsers to see how it goes?
I started to use recently and so far so good like we say, as long everything works as described then I am happy with it ^
