Title: How to run Bitcoin-Qt using Tor? Post by: Lionel on August 18, 2017, 11:45:04 PM Hey all,
i want to force Bitcoin Core to connect via Tor, are my settings correct? https://i.imgur.com/33EqPH1.png My torrc-defaults file inside the Tor Browser Bundle forlder contains these lines: Code: SocksPort 9150 IPv6Traffic PreferIPv6 KeepAliveIsolateSOCKSAuth So i guess the port must be 9150 and not 9050, right? Also, the Allow incoming connections option was selected by default but i have disabled it, is it safer to do so? What are the implications and what's that option useful for?
