Any ideas what the name for the new BTC will be if it forks in November?

Bitcoin. Sounds good to me.

Because most business/exchanges agreed to update to the new consensus rules, then it become Bitcoin. But if there is enought demand, exchanges might add Bitcoin 1MB (B1M) for trading, but Im not sure whether the old 1MB Bitcoin going to work outside exchanges.

How often can a coin fork? Since now we already have a coin no one understands.. Bch or Bcc

Yes, I agree with you. I think that's a suitable name. What is clear is that his name will not be far from "Bitcoin ......". My prediction is Bitcoin credit / token.

A name for the coin that supposedly may fork from Bitcoin? They would probably call that BTC2 or something, for the 2MB file size? Or would they fork off the current Segwit and call it BTCSegwit?

Not exactly sure what will happen, we will have to wait and see. In the end the miners are what control it all + nodes.

The software is currently called BTC1, I don't think they'd use BTC2.
If the fork has over 90% of miner support, which SegWit2X already has (intention) then they might as well name it Bitcoin.

Nothing will happen in november, hard fork has happened in august. This is unlikely to happen in every month.
One thing that might happen is the bitcoin price pump that makes the bitcoin users grow

Bitcoin 2X maybe? B2X ticker? Ticker is available, and the name has a ring to it, makes it sound twice as good as the previous Bitcoin.

The NYC agreement has nothing to do with Core Devs therefore if they do not update to the SegWit2x reference code by November the 1MB chain will simply die because nobody will mining it. The fork to 2x aka 2MB blocks will happen frictionlessly. HODL

               We still do not know that yet, there are no also announcements about what should it be next called or any hints and clues about it. But for me, Bitcoin is already common term for it, and i think changing it would only lead to people to be more confused, but still we cannot dictate what will happen, but still im looking forward into it and being positive.

It might be good old scare tactic to take advantage of the oppurtunity. On the other hand, bitcoin went up insanely after the btc/bcc split. Are we looking at another ''to the moon'' jump if another split will happen ?

That was pretty strange and at the same time just like a nice joke. Are you serious if there will be the next fork coin after bitcoin cash? I think that there will be no new forked coin in september, i believe the segwit 2x update just a part form the segwit implemented for the bitcoin network.

Sorry but I haven't really read up on this. Is there another fork on the horizon? Why is that? What is the benefit of doing that this time around?

I don't know what is the matter for forking bitcoin again and it will just create a conclusion for the possible investor that bitcoin is not stable and as soon as possible we should do something especially the team of the developers for bitcoin to avoid that fork again because there is nothing good in that forking of bitcoin and it just creating another clone of bitcoin which is a total waste but if there is another forking then the next bitcoin i think will be named as bitcoin unlimited cash.

Whatever they like they should give it as the name and create more confusion on the mainstream but one thing will be constant, it mill be treated as an alt on the forum, several exchange sites will equally follow the same,  while making some ridiculous release here and there, there will also be several discussions for and against the subject matter but at the end, the confidence in Satoshi's version of bitcoin will be the lead and everyone will be back to where we started in the first place.

Well there are such news and believe me this is just to create the panic and make people sell. Now think of it that you hold a 1000 BTC and with positive news spreading now you will pump the bitcoin to reach like 6000$ and then you started selling your 1000 bitcoins. People who buyed at 5000+ started feeling worried and they also started selling. November fork news make more people sell and bitcoin price down to 3000$. Now you again buy at price at 3000$ so you got double the bitcoins this time. This game is being played by larger holders of bitcoin and they are becoming rich day by day.

Yes, i was serious as it sounds like the developers are serious and both sides of the Segwit chain have dug their heels in. We'll see three types of Bitcoin soon. Bitcoin Segwit, Bitcoin Segwit2x, and Bitcoin Cash.

Don't know if this is good for bitcoin at all, in 4 months time we will have 2 forks with 2 extra different bitcoins besides the "regular" bitcoin

In the long run one going to succeed for sure. The good news for Bitcoin hodlers, they have all three Bitcoins if they bought Bitcoin before Aug 1, so no risk for them no matter what variant of Bitcoin going to succeed in the future.

Exactly I haven't seen any of my friends using bcc after the fork.
And when you search google for bitcoin fork it will open a big paragraph and most of the ppl don't care about reading it

I'm fond of B2X :) although BT3, while written looks a bit off, sounds good when said IMO (very similar to BTC ;) )

That's how I see it too, hodl all 3 and see which one(s) last over the next few years. If they all do well, then we'll be sitting real pretty. If only one survives, then you don't lose anything.

The soft fork is cumming up in a few days to implement segwit, the more controversial hard fork is comming in November to implement segwit2x.

But I think this is a great bitcoin with an unstable price
And now it depends on us to experience this process with luck or loss

Hope you are aware of the New York agreement and they are proceeding with the plan and they have announced recently that they will let the miners to use the new version of the software at block 494,784 on the blockchain and move on with the plan and if that happens we will see another split in the coin and it all depends upon how many miners will be supporting them.

May I suggest one name? "Bitcoin crooks" . This is exactly what the potential forkers are; because they are  planning to create a fake out of an original Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has become very popular and this has given impetus to the development of fraudulent schemes based on bitcoin. Many scammers want to use the popularity of bitcoin for their own purposes and sell us a counterfeit at the cost of bitcoin. And in November it will be restless again

I think that bitcoin will split many times. My bet for new bitcoin? Bitcoin fast or bitcoin orginal

People like Wu are already on it, we'll call it WuCoin and then dump them all on their supporters for good :D I was  buying bitcoin until the price went over $3800 then I stopped buying because I couldn't afford to pay more than that, I'm waiting for another split to happen because I'm getting used to having some free money, bless you all.
