I am very curious about whether people managed to earn 1 million dollars by investing in a single Icon and selling it when its price skyrocket on exchanges.

There are many who earned $1M on Ethereum's ICO but usually those that did won't say and those that say didn't do it

I haven't but that's probably because I missed the Ethereum ICO by a day then was too cheap to buy it at the prices people wanted (like 50 cents) afterwards.
And pretty much everyone who was in on the IOTA ICO is also a millionaire, but I found out about IOTA 2 weeks after their ICO.

So yeah, I missed out on these.  But anybody who had put about $25,000 into Qtum's ICO would already be a millionaire too.  Too bad I didn't contribute anywhere near that much but the returns were pretty good.

I never reach that, because I make the wrong decision with my investment. But I believe many people have done that, but of course, they have knowledge, patience and big fund. Most people replace their money because they see price action and volume history, but other people see from technical metod. They analyze with their experience and faith the coin will comes up as the winner. But like or not, real market has their own answer. We only follow and get out before too late. Have a nice day.

If we invest back then to an ico I think many of us will be a millionaire now back then where in the price is so low we should have bought plenty of it. I guess there are people that are millionaires now they just don't wanna talk about it.

I made around $20k just in a day from invested on 0xproject and that was so awesome, But i've heard someone already bught a lot of ethereum when the cheap of each ether was really cheap.

Do not expect too much of the ICO, which is said to be just the goal the DEV team wants to achieve. In fact many are not in accordance with expectations and many projects that fail so stop and not pay the investors. So you should be able to choose a right project, see how the project will run. Team members on the project should be your concern. If your analysis is complete then determine how much money you want to invest. If it looks bad then do not push and better looking for another project. Although it takes a while, but your decision will affect what you will get.

The post quoted above is right since if I myself have earned 1M$ from ethereum's ICO, why would I share it to the public that I earned that amount of money in ETH ICO? For me if I were in the place of the one who earned 1M$ from an ICO, it is the same as saying that "I have a lot of money on my crypto currency wallet, rob me if you can." To be honest, I myself havent earned that much of an amount from an ICO but those who did would not post it here.

Maybe for some that have reach that kind amount of money they make some sacrifices and being patient for what decisions are made so they have a good result and made it and earned a lot of money in ICO.

I've earned 5x from a few ICO's, as outstanding as that is, many have done much better.

i only earn or 5 x or more form my investment buying altcoin but it takes more time and patience before its happen for example waves stratis,lunyrs,waves, etc. you can only earn much if you hold that coin for long And do not worry when the price drops  just hold. about 1m$ no i still dont reach it.

Not enough.

I earned $100 on ICO, very small amount for those people that can earn $10000 a month. I want to invest money which I can earn million dollars a month. It's feel so good for earning that kind of amount. How could that be? Is it really possible? I want to have it as much as possible and as much as I can. I wouldn't sleep anymore to earn such a big amount, I will do that for the sake of my dreams and happiness.

That was edgeless casino project where I earned around 5500 dollars from my initial ico contribution. After edg get on the exchangers, the price made all the invesotrs and ico contributors happy.

Once there was an ICO and I earned 4x on it in the initial days.
And in the waves ICO my money was lost as the coin was listed on the exchange below ICO price.
But the decent ICO is actually good and I have earned my profit and also have saved some decent for future pumps.

Yep, that's true. Almost all ico which raise considerable amounts are capable of getting listed on exchanges at higher value than their ico. As 2-3 weeks pass and dump effect of bounty hunters and early sellers dilute, coin reach new high which is almost 4-5x of ico price and best time to sell investment. Almost all high cap coins follow this movement.
Currently Monaco is going the same way.

I still don't know the amount that I earned right but I hope that I can get more than I expected since I work really hard for it, you know staying up late till I finish my campaign then wake up early and go to work like a zombie. ;D

Thanks for your post, I found it highly interesting. But how much ETH would you have bought anyway? And would you have holded it or sold at $5?

I mean to be a ETH millionaire now, you would have had to spend $1500 or more back then.

And not sell it when it was $7500 or $20k... :)

IOTA was really low then prelaunch? I saw the first prices for it werent that cheap.

Would you say its best to buy new altcoins prelaunch? What would you do different now?

wow. $ 1M is a very big number for me. I also missed Ethereum ICO. at that time I did not really know about ICO so I left the opportunity just like that.

Stratis made several ppl several millions.

For me, I do not earn too much, the max amount of money was from OMG, after I bought some ICO coins, I sold them when the price is about $2, the payback is about 5x.

I could have good returns in Monaco because bought 100 Monaco for one ether and recently it hit around 25 dollar if I could have sell in that time would get more profit atleast 5x profit i missed opportunity because I already sold it for half of price.

Recently started investing into ICO's, had invested in Bitquence and the outcome is pretty nice. Soon it will be added to some good exchange and I can get good returns. Another will be KickICO, the platform is fantastic and working already so it will be a hit for sure.

Actually none. cause i didn't invest ICO yet. But i earn huge money from bounty program. It almost 5 ETH. Only worked for social bounty. That will inspire me in future to invest on ICO. At this moment i observe good quality project and learn everyday about how to choose a good project for ICO. As soon as possible i invest on ico and will earn huge money from it.... ;)

People generally do not reveal the ammount of money they have earned in an ICO, if it's very large ammount.

And from what I'm seeing, ICOs are raising more and more money that they don't need, so the return on investment is getting harder and harder.

Hopefully I will land on the perfect opportunity, but I wouldn't tell anyone if I hit it big. Especially people in real life.

NXT ico joiners reached your 1 million goal , but they were only 20+ people , most of us missed that train. To me , if an ico give me 5-10X profit, I will sell them all then turn into another project . I know I will miss a lot more profit, but I think that's enough for me.

I think you are not aware from such types of things that trading and investment in ICOs are almost same thing because in the trading we can make direct trade of buy sell at exchange and also can transfer from exchange to exchange and exchange Wallet but in case of ICOs you can hold and only can directly sell to person only ( but few exchange like yobit offers ico trading also so totally like trading ) .
So here in the bith case we have option to buy at the current price and got profit or loss according to down and up in the price .
Personally here i myself invested once in the HMQ coin ICO and made profit of $3k of ETH coin . So here all depends upon the demand of the coin during ICO run and how much you invested initially .

I think many NEO holders became neo millionaires at least for some time when it was around $50 :)

I just completed my first ICO on monday. Blackmoon crypto. Crossing my fingers for a big gain, but ofcourse china new makes the marked a bit unstable.
I wish I were in to crypto when Ether had ICO. To late tho.

People have been talking about making millions from Neo, also heard some people talking about Stratis.
I wouldn't talk about my wins here or in real life though
