So, I'm looking for some very long term investment here, I see that there are a LOT of coins whose price is between $1-10, from all those coins, which do you guys think have the best chance to hit $100 I would say in about 1,5-2 years?

In my opinion you have to look marketcap instead of the merely price.
By the way ETB actually is trading at 1.50$ on Etherdelta and they are going to swap, distribute rewards and released a platform during August/September. Maybe there will be a nice opportunity to see it at 100$ each, that's a 160M marketcap.

I am sure that stratis, waves, lisk, bancor and pivx will hit $100 in the future, there might be also some coins that will hit $100 which I missed.

Take a look at LISK, it is just starting to pump today due to a small release. The big SDK release is out later this year and then it will get an even bigger pump. Currently under $10 and is compared to ethereum in terms of technology. Adex has a chance to figure 10-100 dollars but adex prices are now too high, so I think it is very difficult to achieve that number

ZEN-Cash.

It is a strong improved Version of Zcash with encrypted communication, censorship resistance, built in governance. ZEN is very scarce and will become even more through implementation of secure nodes which will bind coins.

The ZEN development is very active with a strong team behind (one of the Ethereum cofounders is on board). No marketing till yet but this will change drastically.

Great topic.  I keep seeing:   Lisk, Ark, OmeseGo, NEO, Waves.   I agree and slowly adding as funds permit. 

I am so optimist in believe that there are a lot of coins that are gonna reach $100 each. As long as more people uses cryptos, then there is gonna be a higher volume.
I really think that Waves is gonna reach $100 in a few years. Lisk too, they made a 50% in less than two days.
Neo was $6 a month ago, and now it is at $40 each.
Altcoin market is so unpredictable, but it is raising a lot.

RAIN and other great staking coins like 808 and Growthcoin. 

I have a theory that if someone put a couple of thousand dollars behind a Staking Wallet public relations/marketing campaign and the average public learned how easy it was to make money this way, there would be a huge mass adoption.

Almost nobody mentions Gamer Credits. They have a real actual product and are making a lot of ground in the gaming market

Right now, Im seeing only WAVES will hit $100 someday but it needs time.

But I don't mind that my current coins on portfolio will not hit $100 each someday as long as their volume have steadily been moving up and downs. Reaching $100 is a big bonus for me but today I can earned good decent profit out of their volatility with their current price.

maybe a nice choice could be waves. because they have a platform "like" ethereum, good team, good dev, so they are working fine.
during these days price are back to old may 2017 values. I think is not bad trying an investment with this altcoin.
obviously this is just an interpretation of the market, if you choice to follow this, please trade an amount that you can afford to lose.

NEO because they are developing projects on it's platform, I am going to agree on Waves, I do hold Ark - interesting idea but curious how and when it will be implemented, Shift I do not know much about but I acquired some, The only question I have is what about Substratum and Presearch for competition, they too want to build a decentralized internet and if they raise more money than Shift, that will be tough for Shift to catch up. We clearly know that Monero is going to go to the Moon soon given it has hit 1 Billion, hard for me to really say for sure what else will hit $100 because I feel they need to be limited supply. Ripple I just can't see it happening, Steem is going to be a massive massive Social Media platform but again, I do not see $100 at least for another few years. I could be wrong though. You need to look at the market cap, supply and what problem it solves to determine these things.

Onions are currently $1 and could hit $100 anywhere between 3 and 5 years on past trends, or even sooner with exponential trends and cryptos gaining more traction. It depends a lot on whether or not the roadmap will be cleared though.

SONM is in a similar boat. Currently very undervalued with potential jumps from currently 7 cents to 30~120+ cents by the end of the year and much much higher in the long term if the project gains traction.

Blocklancer also has extremely high potential for rising drastically based on its niche platform.

And then there's AiCoin, which will outperform Bitcoin while providing more stability at the same time in the short term, with a reasonable potential of blowing up in the long term, albeit not as much as disruptive projects such as SONM and Blocklancer. AiCoin is basically a crypto hedge fund with better gains.

1. Monaco could go but I see there are some whales break price higher. I am not sure.
2. OMG 800 million if it go to 100$, you need marketcap about 10x that mean it is marketcap 8 B+. still difficult
3. Lisk 400 million if it go to 100$, you need marketcap about 25x that mean it is marketcap 10 B+. still difficult

i think nxt, ubq, ripple, stellar could be increase at $100 in just few years later but it should need more support from the dev and the team, investor, community and trader in the market. don't forget with monaco although is a new coin, but i think its promising and have potential to be increase too.

People need to stick with the question being asked. Why are some people here saying Litecoin, NEO, and Monero!? They are already over $10... the question is $1-10 coins with potential to $100.

If I look at the available supply and the potential of the coin, I would say Zencash and Zcoin.

They are under 10 dollars, and can easily arrive at 100 dollars in less than 6 months.

Because you limited the coin by the prices 1 usd to 10 usd I can say only waves has a potential to hit 100 usd. Because ecosystem needs such a platform that waves promise to provide. If they success even 100 usd will be very cheap for waves. Many new icos will come on waves blockchain. Many exchange sites will be less popular because of waves dex.

I have some information about a private club of a coin that grow from 0.60$ to 6$ in 5 months. Their targets for next 2 years is to grow at 100$. They have good strategies and offer posibilities to be part of their club coin holders. For who need more details PM me. Good succes!

I think waves is a hot candidate. I think it could hit 100$ in the long term. But it will take some time. Another coins that I really like is Ardor, one of the most undervalued coins out  there. Its like Ethereum, just some more features!

For me. MCO is the best candidate to do that as this market is developing a debit card model and it is certain that when applied in real life, the price of MCO will increase very high and will be stable for a long time.

Right now I see STRAT, WAVES and LISK all having a potential spot at the top. They are all in the top 20 with active dev teams, good use cases and good entry prices--for the long term.

Pretty sure several of the posts here had zero consideration of the current market cap/circulation or several of these are pretty laughable.




Question on LISK since a couple have mentioned it.  Firstly there is no max supply.  It is currently around $6 ea with ~113 Million in circulation with a market cap ~$700 Million.   If by some miracle they did get to $100 and $12 Billion + market cap why would they want their transactions to be so costly? Their network fees are as follows: Regular transactions - 0.1 LSK, Delegate registrations - 25 LSK, Multi-signature registration 5 LSK, 5 LSK per multi-signature member.

Or am I thinking too far into this and supposed to just list a random popular name..

I think NEO is going to blow up like crazy next year. I personally hodl Waves for long term and OMG for long. OMG has real world use already in Thailand vs these other things which have not really developed squat shit on their platforms. When I start seeing these things happening I will agree they are amazing. Steem is probably an excellent coin to hold long term, tons of people use Steem, it has a real world use.

Whatever support from development is available stellar, ripple and nxt won't reach $100! Why? Calculate it's marketcap at that price it will give you ridiculous results. Forget about $100, NXT and stellar won't reach $1 in the near future. Ubiq is a good project among them but still $10 is what ubiq must worth and not more than that this year.

I think AdEx is still lower than a dollar right now. It went more than a dollar per ADX. That means it is a good buy right now. It will fly 100%. BAT is another one. It is lower than a dollar right now. The same bright future for this coin. SiaCoin is also a great coin with a great future and comes very cheap right now.

Some coins are easier to mine, and people have hundred and thousand of them (like Bytecoin), and other are more scarce. I expect to see a "hard to mine" coin reaching 100 dollars.

Don't you think waves have far greater potential than Specter XSPEC? It can return more profits in less time and the value increase is also greater than your coin. I will also like to mention one more coin. It is Ethereum Classic. This digital asset can also return good amount of money but honestly, if someone wants to make big profits in less time, he better invest his 10 dollars in bitcoins or ethereum.

Waves as a lot of other people here have said, to get to 100 it would just be a third of ethereum's success so it is quite realistic to think of it like that.

About waves  ... yes this is one of the coin that have good future, but Frst is one where I invested some money last month. From march to now grow constantly every month from 60 cents to 9$ now and the plan is to go +100 in few months. Just in last month grow from 6 to 9$. Other 3 coins wich I think is posible to go up more in next 1 year are Qtum, Lisk and Strat.

For very long term you should look at the tokens that offer the same functionality as Ethereum, we know how Ethereum got pumped this year, so some tokens can follow it in term of being host blockchain for other projects, I suggest LSK and WAVES.

In my opinion, Strat, Waves, Lisk, Neo, LTC and sys may all reach $100 in the nearest future. But nobody know the particular coin that will reach $100 from now to middle of next year. All the same, it is always advisable for one to diversify his/her investment into different coins in other to maximise profit.

I always choose to invest ethereum and waves which I think will be a big hit in the exchange soon. Even holding a long term in these coins for sure you can take a profit. Well, it will hit probably over $100, lets see in the future.

That's what I usually do to get coins that are ending up at a price of $100 and $95. Lisk could get to price like that.

Just found the thread, Waves and Ark seem to be getting a lot of votes here, I have some shitcoins and I think maybe its time to stop playing and put a little weight behind these ones. It is a question of finding the correct balance between FUD and FOMO !!!

If everybody makes more coins through master nodes or any other mechanism that will simply dilute the market and decrease the price, thus negating the effect of the master node.

If every shows the more interest to the concern coins means we will find the huge amount of demand in the price chart. That is the reason people are running behind the populous and fast growing coins which is been demand in the market.
In that concept recently we find the waves and ripple are now good to invest to find the 100 USD or even more in the chart.

Waves,Cvc,Qtum,Lisk,Ark,Kmd,Pay ,Powr etc. These belong to the few altcoins which are cheap and few of the very best altcoins in the crypto markets. The only prominent and common problem that arises is when to sell the altcoin,and I got to be honest, have a few regrets by selling some of the very good altcoins at a much lesser profit than what I could have got. Don't make the same mistakes that I did,take appropriate measures before deciding to sell.
I do want XRP to be on the list real bad,but unfortunately the supply of XRP contradicts the price to go up. :'(

I cant guarantee it, so this should not be taken as investment advice, but I strongly believe in Aeternity. Its my personal 100x coin! I will hold it at least 2 years (or at least one year after mainnet launch) and really hope that it can achieve what is planned. Hopefully I picked the right coin to make my wish become a reality.

I would say like most in this thread, NEO for sure! It has the potential to have the current value of ETH(with ETH growing more in the future).

Besides NEO I think Minex and Bancor will achieve 100+.
Minex has a very limited supply and Bancor is will definitely change the way we use smart contracts.

Well, it is a speculative thread, so I do not expect too much. There are so many coins that stand the chance most especially than ETC in a short while but the truth is that no one can really know. Still, coins with solid project backing and good team obviously will do well for their investors in the long run. How long they are going to hit the $100 is something we cannot really say. I so much believe in Waves though.

We can only guess what the outcome would be unless we were the ones that pump the price there won't be a person that will be 100% accurate on all his trades.

I think waves is one of those coins which can show tremendous amount of growth in the future as the coin is seen as the ethereum killer and many people believe that this coin will replace ethereum in the future. You can expect the price of waves to reach 100$ within 5-6 years.
Ethereum classic would be another good project which has tremendous amount of potential to grow. This coin can cross the 100$ mark within 3-4 years.

I think with the uptrend on the market we can say that the one gonna reach the level $100 is BNB because they some advance features about their security and people loving it that they cannot be easily lose their money when investing on BNB, because BNB will not fall short on this coming months their continues development is still ongoing and many investors are talking about it.

Hit $100 is very difficult. In 2017, some coins like NEO did hit more than $100. But NEO is already more than $10. You can also look at ZClassic which pumped from less than $1 to $250. But now this coin is near dead.
It is still on a good exchange as it is on Bittrex. But you should count on an artificial pump to see such gain in a short term. And you should expect a big dump afterward.
ZClassic did pumped because of a new fork from ZClassic and Bitcoin to get Bitcoin Private. You should also take note that we now don't hear about this developer which scam a lot of people.

I believe bitcoingold, ethereum futures, eos will reach higher than $100 in the long run. BNB too is in the urge of reaching $100, and probably these can be experienced when the price of bitcoin reach higher than the previous 2017 ath. Already several altcoins have crossed the $100 mark and now has fallen much low in value, hope to experience a recovery by the falling year.

For me, such altcoins are Bnb, Etc, Eos, Neo. True, some of them are already more than $ 10. Only it really will be within 1-2 years. Now even Eth is hard to step over the limits of 300. He is less gaining than Btc

The only one solid coin which increased so fast from $1 is Binance coin (BNB), if you look on CMC, price for this coin was only $1-$2 in the end of 2017 (it even more cheaper when this thread was made) and now? It's already at $32 or 1600-3200% increase only in 2 years.
