okay just started reading up about bitcoins and want to start earning some what do I need to get started I don't have any powerful laptops/pcs right now but plan to get some soon and start mining

just need help setting it all up on the pc I got now

 - where do I get my bitcoin address from
 - currently mining using bitcoinplus how do I cashout from there
 - can you mine from different locations but for the same account

It might be too late to mine Bitcoins, but you could always look into alternate currencies such as Litecoin, etc.

Be creative. If you wanna build a miner, and have money to lose, go for it. It's thrilling and fun.
Mine an alt-coin: Litecoin is the leader, and when traded to Bitcoins, you get the most bang for your buck.
Get involved: I'm just new here but I joined in the Litecoin forum to help out a pool operator as a beta tester, got lucky, and helped out noobs who had q's about rigs.
Be patient: This is not a get-rich scheme. You devote your time, money, and life with it, depending on how intense you want your mining prospects will be. Gold diggers had themselves or as teams. Sort of the same thing with this from what I understand as a miner (and a noob investor).

There's no gold mining if there are no gold miners, by definition.

I disagree, I think more people should be involved in mining Bitcoin. I'd highly recommend doing your research before you spend a lot of money on high end GPUs while ASICs are lurking around.

Personally I mine both because I want to support the network while tinkering, and because I believe in the long term potential of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin does go the direction that many people hope, i.e. trillion dollar plus valuation, you'll wish you'd mined those few bitcents when you had the chance. At the least you'll develop a bit of a better understanding of how Bitcoin works and be a part of the largest distributed computing project to date.

I don't think anyone is saying nobody should mine, just that newbies should find out what they are getting into first. I think everyone should try mining with what they have and then decide if that is what they want to do for a living.

The situation is very much like gold mining. You can pan for gold and find a few flakes here and there, but if you really want to mine gold, it will cost you millions of dollars to get started. On the other hand, if BFL ever comes out with their Jalapeños, the situation will change.

I don't think it will cost that much to start mining only getting a good pc and probably electricity bill

I am starting slow but once I learn everything then I will put money into it
