Last week bitcoin try to break $4500 about three times but to no avail! I think  above $4500 is possible before the end August as the momentum is very high and bitcoin Cash has rise significant for the past two day to close at $870 yesterday, I think very soon bitcoin Cash traders will start to take profit and fund will flow back to bitcoin.

$4500 has become a rigid resistance. It's a wall hard to pass behind. I'm watching the market on Bittrex, but, rather than breaking $4500, bitcoin trying to stay above $4000 right now.

$4000 is a strong support, if we break, we can see $3700 very quick.

Not only from bitcoincash, it looks like money will flow from all altcoins to bitcoin before august specially from bitcoincash and ethereum. Bitcoin price got corrected after a huge rally and now $4000 is new floor for next round of pump. I am expecting $5000+ by end of this august.

If all bitcoin holders  claim bitcoin cash and sell it into market and invest more in bitcoin possible that the price can be hit $4,500 so let other people wait for the bitcoin cash increase and dump all bitcoin cash and switch to bitcoin in order to make more bitcoins that can push the value of bitcoin and i think there is a high chance that the price can be increase more if not this week the price can be increase after this month.

the price of bitcoin can not be predicted, but look at the price now reaching $4147 in the market bittrex possibility could reach $4500 or might be down.

Many people are really wishing that on this week it can be able to finally surmount the $,500 wall and would finally try to reach the $5,000 level as soon as possible. Bitcoin will be well over $5k by end of this year but there is still a big resistance at $4500 region which is very hard for bitcoin to come across, bitcoincash surge has made this even difficult. By end of this august price might swing between $4k and $4500 before bouncing to $5k regions.

If there are still bitcoiners holding their free bch they will probably dump at this price. But if majority of bch is from ver and co, then it will stay that way for quite a time. They pump this coin, they'll make it stay that way. And price of bitcoin may still go down if they decided to pump bch more using their stash bitcoin.

Maybe not this week but 3-4 weeks later definitely 4.500 or 5000$/BTC  (in this year)

I am using preev to watch on bitcoin price hourly.what i can say now is that it is time for the price be lowered.
I fear to buy new coins,i have also withdrawn my balance.

Ya their is a chance for that.Like a roller coaster ,the price of bitcoin will increases once and decrease one day.It's very common for that to happen. There is nothing to worry at all.If you want huge profit ,just hold for some more time and then sell entire holding bitcoin .

I hear many voices about decreasing or increasing but i think it just can't fall to much because nobody want to get rid of BTC now. So it should slow increase during next few weeks.
But I don't know what to think about BCH? 50% says increase(cause of more profitable mining) and the rest (50%)  ;D decrease but I don't see any case.

i disagree about your truth in 5K for for bitcoin! And you know why? cause you said already:  BCH!
traders put their money in it already? now they saw they can double exchange rate for it within one day!
why stop? they will pump it up and the dump out, they will play with BCH like a cat with a mouse..

I think it's much more possible to see $3500 instead of $4500 in next 2-5 days.
$4500 have a huge resistance and people already 'spent' their SegWit optimism. The $4500 is possible but within a 1-2 months, not days.

I share your sentiment. It looks like BTC is stablizing at around USD 4100,- right now. Now if it were the beginning of the bull market I'd be positive that the rally continues. But the way it looks right now I'm afraid that most people will feel safer taking a profit, rather than trying to push for USD 4500,-.

After the next fork or upgrade price will go down back to $2500 and this bull market was due to the possibility of another hard fork/split people thought that they could double their Bitcoins once again and they started to buy as many as possible. we don't need the price to jump so fast because difficulty will increase when more miners join the competition. we need slow and steady growth for people to have time to catch up with the changes. price could even reach $5000 before the next upgrade.

Nobody really knows, but there are predictions of Bitcoin reaching $5,000 this year and Ethereum hitting $1,000. At least in the case of Bitcoin, that record value is in sight. For Ethereum, things are a bit more complicated, seeing as it didn't rise all that much since hitting the $300 mark again recently. Regardless, it will be very interesting to watch how things develop.

Its price is 4100+ and it has not gone through any big change since last 4-5 days. So I don’t think that it will hit 4500 this week but next week it will be above 4500 that’s guaranteed. By the momentum going now a days it will hit 5000$ by the end of this month. And that is also right that we can’t predict anything so we should also be ready for the down value that might come.

It's possible but it's hard to tell for sure. At one moment we were close but then the price returned back to 4000$ or a bit lower. Having in mind that there are many predictions about Bitcoin going to 5000$ by this fall we can expect that soon, just a little patience is needed. But many users also think this is the peak for now and they start to sell.

From what i see. Btc has a good chance to increase in that price but the more disturbing issue for me is the sudden increase of btc. During the day it was increasing, i was offline and forgot to buy when it was still in low price. Now I'm having regrets in that span of 5 hours that I waa offline, and it just increase 2x fold. Damn i was very unlucky.

its hard to tell if it will break the $4500 barrier because sometimes its like bitoin has a mind of its own and from my observation i have noticed that during weekends bitcoin value usually dips a little because of various weekend activities but am sure it will recover and bitcoin cash holders could easily dump BCH for BTC any time soon

Maybe yes but since i seeing the graph i think it would be stable for this week and it will be at by the end of the month before that price will be reach but i don't expect that much because the important is bitcoin is still kicking and alive and we can earn it from our hard working everyday.

In the other hand since bitcoin are atleast $4000 it will be not the moment to reach $4500 after a continuous price increase so i think it is better to expect on by September.

Bitcoin had already touched $4400 a few days ago so there is a possibility that it may reach $4500 but as they say nothing is predictable in the crypto market , we cant actually say whats gonna happen. The current price is around $4100 and since a few days the price is stable with just minor fluctuations. If this keeps going on it must be tough for it to reach the $4500 level but surely it will reach it some day. Its hard to say but by the present momentum it may reach that level within this month . Yeah i think so this will happen for sure. There is one big reason behind this, BCC was credited free of cost, which means bitcoin was never got traded into bcc in reality thus whatever will be traded back into bitcoin would be extra and new investment and this will pump bitcoin marketcap to high folds.

There is also another reason, bitcoin being stable at this peak level for very long time, and as far as we know bitcoin is not that much stable and with little push from bcc holders other people will also start investing in the want to get profits so altogether the pump would be way big than we think. So yes there is chance that it will pump soon.

Now at 4,000 $ to 4,500 $ is the current trend of Bitcoins. Perhaps it will increase again in September and reach $ 5,000 each. This is why it reduces much to buy bitcoincash. And when they make money they'll be back in buying bitcoins and start panic selling again so the bitcoins

it will even break to higher price but it might not this week.

Many expert trader on news also expect BTC to go higher but it s not specific to be this week but they predicted it within this year

Maybe and I think before the month end the bitcoin will reach $5000. It is really possible because we can see the good progress of the bitcoin in the market. It is really good to see the continuing to rise up of the price of the bitcoin.

It's possible, but i don't think that it will happen. I am sure that price will stay stable at ~4100 till September, then it should rise. Keep in mind that we predict only - who knows what will happen in near future.

Breaking $4500 is already in sight and hopely this week. The price has been trap between  $4000 and $4,375 and in days to come the price is going to take its direction. We the traders are waiting for clear view on what the big player  are doing in other to see the position of thing. I have seen many forecast on reddit and social media on were bitcoin price will be especially those that has forecast that the price will get to $5000 before the end of the day.

Again, $4500 is now the new psychological barrier for most traders. Because its really hard not to sell if so see it. Remember we have difficulty breaking $3000 before, it takes us quite some months to really break this wall. So I'm expecting the same with $4500 now. It will really take a lot of efforts for investors to buy another cash influx or new set of investors willing to pour their hard earn cash into the system. We could get it no doubt, but not this month. I'm seeing that around Sept-October, we might see a attempt to move in this direction. So we need some patience, before we could touch that price.

Looks like investors are just cashing out last few days that the price has sink to $4000. So its really hard to say when the price will get to $4500 again. We need another positive news along the way that will persuade new guys coming in the ecosystem. So for me its not possible to get through $4500 again.

i think bitcoin can get that amount before end of august the bitcoin in the marketcap keep incresing until now, $4500usd i wait that figure amount before end of august, everyday i look the status of bitcoin price value in the exchange.

The world is full of possibilities. Maybe this week the bitcoin will goes up again and reach $4800. The price of the bitcoin today is stable but I predict that tomorrow the price of the bitcoin will pump again.  

            If I would be asked that kind of question, i would have said we still don't know that yet, even if i would be studying some technical analysis or some chart reading, we still cannot defime what would happen, it will still always depends on the people on the market who are trading bitcoins. Seriously speaking it may be not now but it has been potentially positive that it would break its resistance someday and its not accurate when and how, but lets just trust.

If it goes there, it goes there though i'm nit hoping for much and i'm pretty contented in where we are now. I'm now more on holdong for a long time and even if btc hits 4.5k or even 5k i'm going to stick to holding. So i'm not looking much into that.

Thats how it works on which people are just milking up BCC just to go back again on Bitcoin. We do really have a strong resistance on 4500 range which we didnt able to break it and proceed or shoot up the price on 5000 but as being said we would really get that momentum again on this upcoming months to come and im sure on this year we would really break that resistance that bitcoin didnt even break on previous weeks.

I think segwit activates on August 23rd. What happens after that is anyone's guess. My prediction is a bit of profit taking as the move from $3000 to $4400 was too quick (took just three weeks).

Short term speaking, there is nothing that can get the price to go up. The best possible thing that could happen is the activation of Segwit, and this happening is already calculated in the current price. Correction at this point is imminent, and I am fairly sure that it won't take long before it will kick in. It doesn't take much to see that the market in current state is heavily overbought, and for that reason we shouldn't be surprised to see it tank with +-20% from current levels. If you're a holder and not interested in doing anything, then just keep holding. If you're a trader looking to buy back at lower levels, it wouldn't hurt to cash out some of your profits (assuming you haven't done so already).

A news to pump Bitcoin price.!! Or may be true. It's a rumour so no one can take guarantee for it. If it's true then it'll definitely affect the demand of bitcoin.

This year the Bitcoin will break all imaginations. I don't know what price we see at the end of this year. But now within this month, i think the price will not cross $4500. It is stable around $4100. I think it will take one more month to reach $5k or more. But within that, it is not possible. We just need $400 increment to see the OP target within one night the price will cross this target but don't know when that day will come.

I don't think bitcoin will above $4500 before the end of August, because bitcoin segwit postponed until the end of the year, and I think that's what caused the price of bitcoin previously will increase but not occur.

There are maximum chances that bitcoin will touch 5k dollars before the start of September. The pace at which bitcoins are increasing in value, nothing can stop them from touching this figure. As far as the bitcoins cash is concerned, though many traders dumped them badly but now the coin is successfully making its place in the crypto market.

Unfortunately seems I was right: BTC is down to 4000 and as I see it, it will goes even lower.
Hopefully with the Segwit activation in 2 days, it will re-gain some value.

It is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin accurately, we can only predict from passing news even through instinct alone. But no one forbids it, even I also have a prediction if the price of bitcoin will reach $ 4500 by the end of this month or the first week of next month.

Yeah I am not sure how deep this current dump will go, but technically it's a healthy dump in my opinion. Look at the 4 hour zoomed out, it just needed to correct a bit after that. Once the RSI clears out, and segwit officially activates, we will be back to "normal" and maybe even new highs soon if we are lucky. I wish I could buy a little more during this dump, but I can't, already all free fiat in bitcoin :D

Yes the price of bitcoin is hard to predict because every time there is a changes in this market were some people earn a profit and some are lossess. Bitcoin become a very popular investment in these days were you can generate a big amount of money just by holding it and it result a profitable investment for everyone.

Well it won't be able to break 4500$ this week infact it had slide down today . At present its hovering around 3750$ and thus hoping that it does not break 3500$ or else it can still slide further . Instead of 4500 it will teach then 3500 and a huge losses to many of them .

i think this time we're gonna down so hard because no one know until how much the price is down but we hope that is not getting too far from the price before. i think its because of august 22 and this is triggered people to selling their bitcoin and giving bad impact to the market and finally the price is go down.

3.7k as of todays writing the price may even go down before it will pump again i say by september it will reach a time high again.

It's hard to say since the average or the highest peak that Bitcoin reached so far is above $4000+ but not to the point it reaches near $4500. Let's just wait and see how it will go, It's hard to predict as of the moment since the fluctuations are very much active. Though, Let's not expect too much, Hence let's just go with the flow and believe in the process.

Until the end of this month also I'm not sure that $4500 will be achieved, I think we should wait until the end of november and the real price we will see at the end of this year.

Since yestarday btc is undergoing a minor retracement  down to around $3800  it has hit a support and presently it is heading back northward but reaching $4500  this week is likely not feasible but I am very optimistic that the $4500 mark is going to be reached.

The current bitcoin price is always changing. But a few days back the price is always at the lower enough rates than ever before. Until now there is no big news that looks will be able to change the price of bitcoin, but I am sure bitcoin prices will be better than the current price rates.

Have you recall the $3000 wall? Bitcoin had a hard time scaling that wall and it even took a while before Bitcoin completely surpass that mark. This could also happen on the 4500 dollar mark. Bitcoin soared very high just recently and continuously attaining new ATH is not too healthy for Bitcoin.

BCH  holders will continue to hold BCH, they can clearly see now that BCH can grow even higher so why trade it to Bitcoin when they can hold both coins in order to gain in both coins.

No one knows exactly but the analysis if you make give you a “perhaps” of being up in this month and maybe in first week of next month. Technically, it went up from first week of August from $2000 and within two weeks it crossed $4000 so probably it can cross $4800 next week or so :P

The price did fall for sometime for a total of $700 for this week. And it's very possible that we can see it break for this week until August 27. But who knows there will be a lot of walls but for sure bitcoin can break it for this week. If not well there's nothing bad to speculate for this week but if it didn't happen, let's see it for a couple of days before this month ends.

Looking the price variations happening with respect to time I believe the price might go above $4500 in a week or two. Right now the price has come down to $4000 and once again it has started to increase giving signals of crossing $4500 in a shorter time period.

Bitcoin price is growing this week like the way people wanted. The value keeps looking good and everything looks normal as well.
No doubt, the way bitcoin value is appreciating the price will reaches anywhere between $4500 - $5000 in one or two weeks time.

I hope the price will keep until the end of the month and for the next month also, too many bitcoiners is trying to hold as much as they can. The price is now hovering above $4400 and it seems that we can break $4500 again this week. I don't think that we can break 4500$ as we have again experienced minor blip and its down to 4300$. So to answer your question, its not sustainable as of the moment because traders are cashing out once the price gets to 44xx$. But this is a good thing though, because along a minor correction, new sets of investors are ready to get in the market as well. I guess we need to wait again to see it we can reach 4500$ and hold but as of the moment, I don't see it holding. 5000$ is still far to reach and it will take another good news to push the price to this levels.

Yeah anything is possible now as price is moving in a positive direction since a long time and now its above $4300 so may be in next couple of weeks we will cross the barrier of $4500 and if its done then our next target should be the price of $5k which won't take much time if everything goes fine here after so its better to hold our coins and wait till it touches that price level.
