Title: How to figure out how many Antminers I can have until I blow up the transformer? Post by: rperus on August 21, 2017, 04:04:15 AM I have no way to ask to the electricity company how many watts I can use in my house, and I have no way to calculate how many electrical devices are connected to the transformer in my block. I have no idea what a transformer can handle but it is a lot. The bottleneck is going to be your meter. Meters (where your house is connected to the electrical service) are rated in amps. You can do the math and figure your existing load and how much you can add. 200 amp service is pretty common in modern homes.
