Indicoin is a platform Independent, self-governing social service DApp for a community of people who really want to contribute to the society. Indicoin aims to use the technology of Blockchain and Smart Contracts to provide meaningful tasks to the user community and linking a monetary value (indicoins) on these tasks approved by the community through a  decentralized, unbiased and transparent voting process thereby incentivizing and encouraging the user community to undertake more such social tasks.  Indicoin has the potential to address certain limitations of the current processes by modernizing, streamlining and simplifying the traditional siloed design. Indicoin will provide social service with a shared fabric of layers of technology for a first-ever social platform where people can not only contribute but also validate through any kind of content anonymously from anywhere, anytime and also earn through it.

By administering an efficient virtual platform that controls the power of digital currencies, blockchain ledgers, IPFS and physical world ethics we are enacting a completely individualistic and autonomic system, acquitted from the political quirks of any nation, that is capable of causing a positive impact on people’s lives by allowing them to undertake tasks related to the welfare and upliftment of the society and also grant eloquent recurring income to all those eager to engage.

The project has been started by a new team of cryptocurrency enthusiasts all of whom have been religiously following the rise Bitcoin and Altcoins. While India still mulls over legalizing and regulating cryptocurrencies, we at Indicoin truly believe that India is a sleeping giant in the world of blockchain and financial technology. We recognize the need of educating the masses about the impact blockchain technology will cause in our future.We also recognize and appreciate the market opportunity given to us by being India's first community-based crypto currency.

is this the first CryptoCurrency project in India?

where's the Road Map? Whitepaper? Waiting for proper ANN

Largely due to lack of Awareness among the local population about cryptocurrency, there have been other projects claiming to be cryptocurrency while they don't even satisfy the very basic criteria of being one. Mostly being MLM and run within ponzi schemes, asking people to invest in them, and promising high ROI, but ultimately dupe people of their money.

This is the First Legit cryptocurrency project in India. All the details will be announced very soon in a proper ANN.

Agreed, take it easy, and give the project a chance. Better an early heads up ANN and more when ready, than nothing at all.  People are too aggressive on this forum, quick to jump to conclusions.  We all want to see the legit projects change the world, and these kind of comments are immature and anti-productive.
