Devs.If they are responding to others requests and have a genuine idea to how to put new stuff on table, I mostly end up investing.

the code.

even if i don't understand it, when it is open source and if it is popular it can not have anything shady in it.
in fact bitcoin is not only open source but also there are very good documentations out there which you can use to make everything without needing the traditional wallets. you can even create a private key with a dice physically and then write a little script yourself to sign transactions.

It's a combination of a lot of things, but a good chunk of my criteria and the first thing I would check would be the developers. I always make it a habit at looking at the developers first, whether or not they've worked on similar projects in the past or if they're currently developers of some different project. If ever I'm not familiar with the developers, I do a thorough search on their names as to know if they're actually real people/developers and not just some made up names just to get people to trust them.

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?
When i do decide to trust a certain new crpytocurrency i do usually go to its potential or the roadmap of such project and would really have a use not just only for shows the same on most coins in the market and popping out ICOs as of now related to their coins.Community support would be the next thing too if theres a support for a certain coin which means it is good and theres really special on it.

Many things we can see from the new altcoin so we can give our trust.
See the build team
See and read what their fission and mission are.
See their excitement working on the project and many more things that will make us believe in a project

To be completely honest I'm not very keen to new cryptocurrencies, I don't give my trust easily. For me Bitcoin was proved so many times in positive way and so far this is the only cryptocurrency I trust.
One of the crucial things is always who is standing behind the cryptocurrency and what are the perspectives for the future, how the idea is developed and whether it has any solid ground.

we have to take a look at many different things while watching a new crypto currency entering the market. First of all I see who is building the coin that is whether the dev team is good enough for the particular technology used in the coin. Then i see which technology they are using for the coin. Then i see their achievements and goals they are planning achieve. I also look around their website to see if there is something fishy about it or not.
The important thing is that we have to know what they are building, why they are building and how they are building.

that's correct and i agree with your opinion when it's open source nothing can be hidden , everything are available to accessed and it's make people secure. also when the network are stable enough people won't feel to fear doing transaction and get stuck there for days. a good and well known developer also could be part as consideration i think .

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?

I think I don't really trust that digital currency, it is that I want to earn that digital currency because it may be profitable in the near future.
Also I don't trust any other digital currency other than bitcoin. It is the only one I am used with and I don't think I will be able to trust others.

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?

i always look at the team or the people behind the new cryptocurrency or token being introduced. I make sure that nobody is involved in any scam or questionable projects in the past. However, we have to admit it that it is virtually impossible to be 100% correct because anybody can do some shenanigans online and come up with a new name.

Aside from the team, I look at the concept and how viable it is plus the response made by the market at the early stage of the project or introductory stage. There is actually no perfect strategies to get to the bottom of the project so we also have to include hunch into the pie.

Rich men investing a huge amount of money in BTC makes me trust a whole cryto world. I do not think they do it without any purpose at all, it is a reasonable decision and I support it as well.

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?
By just simply seeing that cryptocurrency in a trusted exchanges in that way I am sure that coin is trusted because every trusted exchanges accepts only the coin that have a potential and meets their qualification to be added. So That is my way of trusting new coin. And in terms of ICO I will read the whitepaper first before investing to that coin

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?
Before I give my trust to a new cryptocurrency I do a research first so I can know more about that new cryptocurrency. I am reading all the feedbacks and the thoughts of all users that replied to that new crypto. And lastly I do research of all the people behind that crypto.

I would consider it if there were no pre-mine and also well known developers handling the code. I do not trust centralized

authorities {founders} and centralized decision making. I also like limited supply {low coin cap} ... I hate these pump n dump

coins. {so if it is too good to be true, it most probably is} .... If the concept is good, I would seriously consider it. {unique}

The first thing is that devs should be transparent. There should not be any premine. And whitepaper should be clear and logical. If idea is good in is not on market yet... then my attention to coin raise.

Although it is difficult to understand the technology of mining and functioning of crypto currency, it is difficult to understand the crypto currency, both by experts in this field, and by leading businessmen and government officials of most countries, including their top officials, and also by a significant part of the community. Demand for the crypto currency is constantly growing, the capitalist is growing

It's the newest trend to fund projects since in crypto they are able to reach everyone, the more potential investors ,whales or not as long as it can invest. Since many big project got successful through ICO. As long as we see that it has a vision of getting successful, with clear demonstration, whitepaper and roadmap and much betee if already have working product plus truated teams then that crypto can have a great potential in the future.

I would look into the developers as well and if the project that they are developing is something new and not just a copy of something that already exist. It should be something that will actually solve something.

In my case it's token. I have invested in betking token something like 0,2 BTC this month. I think online casinos which work with crypto currencies are very popular now and the number of users is constantly growing. So, I decided that the own token of one of the most popular bitcoin casinos can pump high. That was my reasons of choosing it. I don't have too much money for investment, so I counted for long and I think that was good choice.

Most important is the whitepaper, people and teams that will develop the coin. Whitepaper is very important to attract people involved in it. But the developer and his team will be very influential on the development of the coin in the future

It's very hard to trust a new crypto atm ... most of them will die in 1 year after ICO.
Unless it has a potential like eth and doge.
now coming to topic - what i want from a new crypto is time

The things that make me trust a new crypto currency is their code and the people behind the project.  Since the era of anonymous dev is over, the people behind the project is the one that make me trust in a new cryptocurrency since they are offering something, the team's background should fit their roadmap.  If not then I would definitely skipped on that new cryptocurrency.

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?

Hard to say, I don't easily trust new cryptocurrency. One thing that might persuade me is trust rating and popularity. Though I won't rely on popularity alone. There was this plexcoin I saw in facebook it has gathered popularity with thousands of followers in their fb acct and my friend encouraged me to signup but I didn't then later on I found out that it was really a scam. So I'd really stick with trust ratings and proof that it is a good and valuable coin.

For me, i'll check the background of the ICO ( if there's any ) and if it is already on the list of famous  exchanges, if the company/person/team behind that cryptocurrency has the  ability to spend money to list that on multiple exchanges it means that they are serious on gaining the trust of the people here in bitcoin forum community, and befire i trust a new cryptocurrency, it must have it's own goal.

There is no new cryptocurrency worth being trusted and if I am going to even try trusting one, I would like to learn a lot about the way the crypto works and all about its framework before I can start giving it trust and putting my money in it.

I will not easily trust a new cryptocurrency. That cryptocurrency should be 1 year or longer in existence before I trust it.

But to trust a new cryptocurrency, I will check or analyze the teams that developed that new cryptocurrency. If they won't reveal the teams, I will look for the users of that cryptocurrency. I'll ask them about feedbacks. Maybe I will try it but not for a longer time to experience what other people had experienced. If all of these factors are positive, then it will truly make me trust it.

well ir is hard to to trust a new cryptocurrency since too many shitcoins and scam ICOs around here i will trust a new cryprocurrency if the devs and his team are very active in the development of the coin secondly the whitepaper the project itself must be well explained to understand the readers what is his project all about

BTC's success makes me totally trust cryptocurrencies and by that a lot of people are into earning and some developers are into blockchain technology. So the best reason that why we trust digital currencies is that our friends are earning more than average wage. That's how I bump myself into this course.

Too easy to conclude so, the good thing is to follow no one. A good standpoint is the result of self-study. The rich do not invest without purpose. There are many things to watch out for before investing, new coins have big risks, Unless you see dev and team that transparent.

The reason that I could only trust a new cryptocurrency is if there's a lot of people who are already using it and at the same time if it gets more support be it financially or support from individual people who is holding on to that cryptocurrency. Its not good if I just randomly supports even get some cryptocurrencies that is advertised online. Some of them might immediately loose its value due to some poor support and awareness of people making it less attractive and more risky to invest my time and money.

I wonder What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?

I think the biggest point that I will give to a new cryptocurrency is coming from its established partnerships with trusted, large, rich companies that is widely accepted worldwide. There are cryptos here that are in partnership with the likes of Microsoft, CitiBank, and others. That is one thing I really like with projects that can reach such feats.

From most important:
1. Good technical whitepaper including all significant details of implementation
and open source repository that matches whitepapers stuff
2. Strong community
3. No serious issues detected in a while
4. Lots of people use it
5. Finally, reasonable volatility
