Title: Feeling regret after (Not trading, not gambling, etc...)
Post by: catfishftw on August 21, 2017, 05:47:11 PM
I always have that feeling. Regret. I had 300$ 4 month ago, and I told myself.. "Dude BTC will never go higher than $2,000" When it reached $2,500 I told myself "Now it is on the peak".
Gambling scene: "I won't join this round it won't go higher than x2" *Yes I love bustabut* Then the round went higher than x200 Technically I was not right.
Every time before I sleep I just imagine, and I am sure of that.. If I had taken the right decisions I would have been rich..
So am I the only one fellas? I would be so happy to know that I am not the only one :D

If you have $100 right now than just invest that in some promising ICO which is currently open for investment. You might get more than 10x return within a year if that project got successful. Look at Monaco for example, price has skyrocketed after few months of their launch.

Yes I have gone through similar dilemma and regrets before but I used to forget them saying that it was just another unlucky day for me. Stop thinking/regreting about things which you can't change now.

Sorry may you explain the "ICO" ? Can I get more than 10x return within a year!? You serious?

I have regretted selling so many of my altcoins for a rate that was below than the ICO price as well. They had been low for months but because I couldn't risk the money on the exchanges, I sold them at a low rate while now they've almost reached 5 times their original value. I lack patience which is needed when trading.

I would suggest you to invest it in ETH rather than an ICO. ETH was about $40 3-4 months back and now it's $330. With $100, you can buy atleast 0.3 ETH which would be a great investment.

ETH? Every single person now is buying ETH? will that raise its price? plus 100$ is good? or should I raise it?

Well you should never invest more than what you can afford to lose, ask yourself what amount can you spare? What happens if you invest 1000 dollars in eth and the price comes back to $40 a coin? Are You willing to take that risk with a higher amount? You will do fine with $100, just remember high risk usually returns a higher reward and vice versa, also just because you were wrong a couple of times doesn't means you won't be wrong the next time. So think it out and remember invest wisely. :)

I think you're extremely a newbie to this world. Please don't waste your money by investing in something which you really don't know well. Ethereum's all time high price was $400 and it's price is $340 right now. Yesterday, its price was only $300. So decide if you should buy ethereum carefully.

You have only one option for now that is to invest into different coins over the exchangers which may pump real soon. You can check most traded coins in the threads asking for the list of trustable coins. However, if were you then I would go for monero, social coin, omisego and ripple for the future investment. I wold have invested equal portions of my $100 USD to each coins that I have mentioned here. Once they start pumping you will see what your $ 100 USD can do to you.

I don't know why people here are advising you to grab a set amount of money and "invest it" into some coin or token without saying much else. You can't just pick one, or you might as well just be gambling. If anything, you should learn a bit about investing and stock trading. Sure, the crypto environment might feel intimidating and different from that of, say, NASDAQ, but many trading tips such as how to know what to invest in can apply in both cases. Don't even bother buying into something without doing proper research prior to it. No research means no reasoning behind your investment. No reasoning means it's a gamble, and as we know from these forums and the huge gambling section, gambling will only make others money, not yourself.

One year is a short time for me and you have chosen the right decision after putting $100 in bitcoin then forget it and will come back after one year, but my suggestion better you increase your investment to $1000 seems to be better for investment in a one year.

$100 is good to invest as you can atleast have a chance of getting double the amount after 2-3 months. It daily fluctuates by $30-$40 and when I invested in it, I bought 0.25 ETH for $10. Now the same is worth $75. It was just in March I guess.

I regret many times. Like last month, I hold 2000 ADX and I sell it last month in 0.00004 per each and last night when I saw the price of the ADX today I just shocked and I wanna cry because the price of the ADX per each now is 0.0003 per each :<

I feel your pain, dude. This has happened so often to me too. As for you 100 USD, consider investing in an ICO that makes sense to you. Just be careful about selecting which one would work: do some research about the team, the vision and stuff like that. Try to be sure that it's gonna be around for long-term

The most regretful moment of my life is when the price of the bitcoin is still low and I did not buy even once. I can't forget that moment because of the value and the price of the bitcoin in this moment.

you know what, just invest something in bitcoin. even a small amount like a hundred bucks. i promise you that you won't regret it. heck if you bought bitcoin back in 2015 (nearly 2 years ago) you could have had 0.5 bitcoin for a hundred bucks.

and you know what in a couple of years (probably another 2 years) i will repeat the same speech to someone else saying buy a hundred bucks worth of bitcoin, you could have bought 0.025 bitcoin back then and now you can buy 0.005 bitcoin with it.

I would suggest you what I did with my money, invested in ico. Don't get me wrong but I think most of the ICO's are scam but there are some which are promising and already have a certain amount of applications, right now Kickico is giving platform to entrepreneurs start their project with crowdfunding. It's already a successful in pre ico phase.

All humans have regrets and I am sure of that. I mean, we are not all perfect and there are times when our feelings can be defying us. In my view, it is okay to commit many mistakes as long as you are learning a thing or two from them. Now, having said that, I am then hoping that next time around you can be making a good decision that can help you financially.

I guess you are still young and you have many years ahead of you to enjoy and explore life. Invest on Bitcoin now at the current dip so you can be a part of the next surge happening maybe early next year after the scheduled November fork. There is a lot of room of growth for Bitcoin as many analysts are predicting it can get huge years from now.

That is the thing which many traders lack off and they just invested without any ears and eyes. Agree with the statement that bitcoin market is not patterned or continue in one form but it is volatile. Best way to save you money and doubling tripling it to invest in bitcoins but still you must see the ups and downs of market. Prior to this you must have business and investing knowledge. Playground is there but you must be knowing the rules of game.

Its a good choice not to join gambling because its very risky. Its better to learn trading although its also risky but not that much like gambling and another thing is that if you really want to become an entrepreneur then take the first step and become a trader. Start investing on altcoins, That is the very best thing to do right now.

so basically you were figure out the best investment for your $100 and keep them for a year till hoping you can get good profit from your asset but those amount is not high as basic capital for long term investment but indeed if you're pick the exact coin to hold there is a chance to get profit and i have simple suggestions for you that bitcoin is the best here and i think it would not loss if you buy it now and hold untill a year

Somehow I can't escape that feeling, many times it seems that I miss good opportunities related to Bitcoin and I regret it afterwards. Maybe my bigest regret is that I missed the opportunity to trade with some larger amount when I had 7 Bitcoins in my wallet. But I never, ever regret that I don't gamble, this is the good way only for losing money.

You are not alone. Almost all of us has went through the same ordeal over and over again. And that is the difficult part of life, making the correct decisions. But what is important now is not to look back at move forward in your life and left  that be a lesson for you to not make the same mistake. I think in investing you can still recovered from that supposed to be profit. But in gambling, Nah, you should totally give up and not purse a degree on it.

Hey Wait! I have like 100$ now.. What is the best way to do with it.. I will be like offline from internet for over a year.. I wanna get profit after I finish my last high school year. Suggest!

I think with the current price of bitcoin, $100 is not enough though. Although you have the option of just putting just a small portion from time to time and see how it goes for you. I think it about a year in will accumulate and most likely your investment will multiple X folds. ICO is a good option as well, but you have to be careful not to invest in a scam ICO because there are a lot of it right now.

If you have been long gone from the internet then there are stuff called as ICO which are ethereum based projects and offer ERC20 tokens as proof of shareholder. These initial coin offering services will benefit you once you invest into them at very early stages. Because they raise almost money double the requirements of project which ultimate increases the value of your coin. Then you can trade this coin at higher prices in the exchanger and earn tons of profits. Believe you will not regret it and currently this the only one option which you will get hold of quickly.

Try to read more about ICO in the announcement section of altcoin discussion. You will see hundreds of ICO coming daily, (scam alert check), and you can join the bounty program as well. :-) lots of money.

I don't see why you should have regrets about any of this stuff... I mean if you're going to be hung up about things like this, you'll never feel satisfied in life, but that's just what I think about it.

You didn't lose anything, so you still have the chance to invest in something else and make a profit that way.
New opportunities arise every day.

Well you don’t need to be regret if you didn’t had any good experience in trading. Very well said that new opportunities rise every day and there will be chances for you to rise up again. Just make yourself ready with that thinking to grow in trading. Don’t regret, work with it. See you around, search, learn, get experience and there you will be having the markup.

Good to invest it in bitcoin. You can find a promising ico and have that money grow probably more than 10x but it's also.possible that in a year that ico would die down. Safest for me would be to wait for a good time to buy btc, like now, and then keep it there

I think you're extremely a newbie to this world. Please don't waste your money by investing in something which you really don't know well. Ethereum's all time high price was $400 and it's price is $340 right now. Yesterday, its price was only $300. So decide if you should buy ethereum carefully.
This is a very good advise OP and as much as the decision is in your hands, you should thread carefully. If you are not so sure which coin to buy, I will advise you spread your tentacles and divide the funds but I will go for bitcoin anytime anyday and probably use the profit on value increase to get some ethereum as time goes on. Bitcoin has risen in % far more than ETH in the past few years, so decide! And now that the value of BTC is down, you have the best time in.

All these stupid acts of gambling, casino, roulette spinning and others are just ways in which lazy people can make money. I grew up doing all this shit and I realized that I was just busy wasting my time because its impossible to be rich that way.
If you really want to have an income stable and good salary, you should not avoid gambling, even sometimes I think we should avoid day trade if do not want to loss our money on the market. Of course, my opinion not reasonable with some rich man here :P

You serious?

not all of it doubled up to x10 it all depends on the developer / developer of the coin, if its developers diligently make the development of quality and useful then the coin can double more than x10.

I prefer to avoid gambling because it was very risky and probably you might lost all your coins in just one day. Trading is also like gambling but less risky, If you like mind games then i prefer you just start trading and do a lot of research about the movements of market.

Have I ever felt regret not trading yes. Have also felt regret not buying at some point, I also admit to that. In the case of gambling too, I have had some regrets where my guts would tell me, mostly in the case of football betting of who will win but either by omission or commission, I ignore. Those are the times I feel some guilt within me.

But that is surely not the end of the time as I have also made some winnings against odds which to my level of understanding are hard to comprehend but either way, its something to be proud of. You cannot always be right at all times. Its not possible.

I guess most of us had those thoughts. On all those occasions you would have to take a risky move, and chances are that you would lose your investment, as it maybe had happen in the past. I first got to know bitcoin in 2011, and I just didn't really believe in it. I guess I was wrong. I go into it again when the price was around $300 maybe, and I started to get some. When the price reached $1000 I've cashed out most of it. Like you I though it was at it's peak. I am now determined to hold as much bitcoins as I can't, and don't really spend them. Maybe this time I will get it right, or maybe It will end up being a mistake again. I can't know for sure, and no one can. It has potencial, but who knows.

As for what to do with $100. Go for bitcoin if you believe it will go up. Many think that it' price will sky rocket in 2018, maybe they are right.
Of course that if BTC price rises, the others will follow, so investing on another coin could be a good option as well. $100 is not much, why not LTC? If BTC price increases, LTC will follow for sure, since it kind of works like the BTC "test network."

Well I think that kind of feeling was inevitable to the traders. Sometimes when youre feel to sell your BTC but then for some reason you didn't follow your instincts and later you realize the action that you made, makes you feel "oh, why I didn't trade it, its like a big catch already but I didn't take the risk". Feel regret is sucks right! but sometimes when I feel regret for what I've done, I still believe that all things happen for a reason. Maybe there's a good reason behind those actions I made. And that reasons, I also didn't know what it is.

if you want to invest in bitcoin then you only have one option which is buying bitcoin right now and keep it for over a year and don't too often to take a look in the market, every exchanges. because if you do, you are tempting to sell because of panic when you see the price is down or you want to buy again just to see the price is down. for that $100 you can buy bitcoin without seeing the price now and don't forget to move your bitcoin into your offline wallet or in your computer or android phone.

Anything that destroys us eventually gets into our list of regrets but I think it is better to live a life free of tension. Past cannot be undone but we can make our future beautiful by working hard in present. Do not repeat the same mistake and choose the profession that best goes with your skills.

I think with 100$ you can buy bitcoin and hold it until you can get online on the internet, although 100$ small value for investment so don't expect too much big profit.

Never see back and feel regret because only when time comes you will start , so it is not late to buy any time, now that you got 100$ to invest go with 25$ now for buying and on another dip buy same quantity more , so like this your buying price will be averaged and in long term you will be profit soon when the price will start pumping.

you know what, just invest something in bitcoin. even a small amount like a hundred bucks. i promise you that you won't regret it. heck if you bought bitcoin back in 2015 (nearly 2 years ago) you could have had 0.5 bitcoin for a hundred bucks.

and you know what in a couple of years (probably another 2 years) i will repeat the same speech to someone else saying buy a hundred bucks worth of bitcoin, you could have bought 0.025 bitcoin back then and now you can buy 0.005 bitcoin with it.

This is best way to recover your loss because you surely won't regret by investing in Bitcoin. You'll even have a good night's sleep knowing that the bitcoin you bought would accumulate and increase in value in the following years. Better invest now so you won't have any further regrets.

A reason why don't gamble because of the risk of losing your bitcoin or money. There's a high risk of you to win but at the same time, there's also a high risk of losing that. It's hard to make some guesses and to decide and it's definitely going to be hard for you to sleep if you regret not making some decisions that could have led you to become rich had you made them.

Time do matters. The time of decision making matter a lot that you could be happy or regret on that later. For now, bitcoins are amazingly increasing and making a strong hold in international market so better choice is to trade in bitcoins.

Gambling? No don't do that at all, at least i won't suggest anyone to gamble. As one keeps gambling he gets more and more addicted to it and loses all his money most of the time, sometimes there is a bit of luck and you win, but its not recommended at all. If you think you can control yourself after winning a small amount, then you can try maybe, but still i won't recommend it.

Hey Wait! I have like 100$ now.. What is the best way to do with it.. I will be like offline from internet for over a year.. I wanna get profit after I finish my last high school year. Suggest!

I do regret a lot of actions and even those I didn’t take. I did regret also after learning about bitcoin at its
initial startup time but I didn’t invest in it because it didn’t seem profitable, and I still hold myself guilty
till today for that.
Most of the people regret after not trading it is so because they are unable to find the correct time for buying or selling bitcoins. In the world digital currencies it is very important to make use of correct time while investing or trading bitcoin and illiterate people say that time doesn’t matter.
Time do matters. The time of decision making matter a lot that you could be happy or regret on that later. For now, bitcoins are amazingly increasing and making a strong hold in international market so better choice is to trade in bitcoins.

Don’t lose heart if you had a bad first experience, learn from it and practice again. Don’t just regret, make the game again.
practice indeed is the best teacher ,once we learn from our experience it will be much easier to do trading ,just analyze whatever transactions you'll be doing.
Hmm, I think the knowledge still important, but you do not need to learn many much because you can not apply all into trading like the theory. Everything still depends your method, strategy and the situation on the market. Therefore, experience better than knowledge ;D

They are correlated to each because you wont able to do something resourceful or any work if you dont have knowledge on what you are doing. Therefore you cant really choose only one since those two are tied up. Lets say you do have the knowledge into things and if you do try it out even though you cant perfect it on first time but later on when you repeatedly doing it then for sure you would able to get experience.Just like that and coming back on topic, feeling of regret is always there when we saw that we did neglect an opportunity to earn money.

I feel regret after I do gambling. I bet 0.05 btc and I lose. I can say that the gambling is so very risky and we can't prefict if we will gain money from gambling or we will lose in gambling.
Gambling has always been risky even before the invention of cryptocurrency and it is so hard except for luck to see someone who has not been dealt with before from gambling. I have known a situation where someone had to go for rehabilitation for running into huge debt from gambling just to see if he can one day recover all he lost. Gambling should be fun from trying your luck knowing you may win or lose just like any game.

No one can really guess these lucky breaks, and even in mining, Luck is a big factor in finding blocks :)

Back then I myself am skeptical about bitcoin and was too afraid to put a single penny on it. Back when a $20 movement was significant, I thought that I have missed the boat, and so have started thinking of a better game plan that could help me profit instead of helping me ponder over my regrets. It's never too late though, you were just at the right place at the wrong time.

I think we all feel the same when we lost a good opportunity, and it happens in every aspect of life, not only with bitcoin or electronic currencies, it happens everytime with a lot of things, so you dont have to worry about it. I feel the same when i dont buy X coin at X price, and suddenly it goes x2 in a few hours/days, and i am not going to depress because of that, bug gambling is horrible, i dont suggest it to anyone.

For real! Practice absolutely brings about perfection. The same way I have felt bad for not making a decision is also the way I have appreciated the fact that I did not make some other decisions as well. The thing about trading is, when you know your position is a perfect one, take the decision and hope for the best. Things may not always go the way we want but gradually we learn each time from both success and failure and we eventually end up getting better at it.

It's impossible not to miss opportunities. So yes, absolutely. Life is a collection of missed opportunities.
Thing is, that's true for everyone. Even the people who look like they're living an ideal life have missed plenty of opportunities.
It's a matter of teaching yourself to not regret what you've missed, and appreciate every moment for what it's worth. Soon enough, you'll be making the best of many opportunities, and you'll have no time to look back and regret what you didn't do, since that'll be drowned out by what you did do.

Not only with bitcoin, with each and every move we make in our life regretting occurs. Because the people's mentality feels one better than the other at certain time interval. With bitcoin majority of the users could have known about it long back and could have started using it after long time.

You have made all the emotional decision while investing your money so this was suppose to happen. Your method was wrong while approaching the scenario but you can change that always. When you don't believe in the stuff that you are doing then you will never get the success for it. You could have turned your $200 to 400+ at the current rate and then could have reinvested it again. It could have given you nice path further. Anyway now you can put that money bitcoin or I will prefer altcoin with that low amount. Better keep an eye on ethereum which might be going down soon as the fork is about to happen. You can put the money there.

For me, I think whatever decision you made, either you didn't made it wisely or its already your plan to do the action but I know it was coming from the bottom of your heart. Feeling regret after not trading? Well you may feel regret if the price is hits its peak value but you didn't know that, so you didn't make to trade your coins. Feeling regret after not gambling? Well I also think that the feeling of being regreted is not already new to us, I believe that all things happen for a reason. Let's just face what is happening now and what tomorrow may bring.

All does really have a reason and those actions been made does really depend on us which we can say that this would really be on some cases depending on the situation why we did able to miss that opportunity.Feeling of regret is really there specially when we saw the price have pumped up and we did sell on earlier times but well we should not stress out ourselves as long we do gain on profits it would be still considered as fine thing.

I also regret not trading this summer. I was mad that I made a bad trade and decided to stop trading for a while but I came back eventually and realized I missed a lot of good opportunities. But you shouldn't regret not gambling. Gambling is always bad even if you win. You will probably lose it in your next bet.

Regret is never needed. When a mistake is made, identify it, remember it and do not make it again. Losing funds is the way that you find the perfect system for you. Bouncing from one non-working technique to a better one and then another is the learning curve and even the most veteran traders make mistakes, the difference is that they move on quickly and learn permanently.

Theres no perfect system on this world but somehow we can make our own ways which we are comfortable with.Regrets is really hard to set-aside because our mind do normally reacts when we saw a certain thing that we did expect already to happen but we do hesitate to put up funds because of our doubts. Those things are considered as mistakes and we should really learn from it.

If we are talking about regret in crypto currency most likely most of us here in the forum would wish that they could invest in Bitcoin a few years ago, but unless a time machine has already been invented there is nothing that we could do about it. Instead of wasting your energy on your regrets, think what you could do so that you would at least avoid that mistake. I know right now there are lot of new altcoins popping out but we could always check and research on what coins are most likely be successful in the future. Once identified invest on it.

your not alone my friend because that also happened to me and all of us here, so i guess all you have to do is move on and i suggest invest that 100$ on bitcoin and let it sleep in your bitcoin wallet for 12months, just make sure you dont loose your password and private keys then comeback after 1year to see the results. for sure your invested bitcoins will get double or maybe triple because as you see bitcoins value is still getting high overtime and soon it will sky rocket to the moon.

I am not sure that is a very good decision for him. How about he puts his coin in a shittycoin and ends up loosing all. ICOs are not something the OP should gamble at this stage unless he is sure at least with thorough information that it is going to be worth it.

Sorry may you explain the "ICO" ? Can I get more than 10x return within a year!? You serious?

ICO is initial coin offering. ico the coins that are not in the market can only buy them directly in developer or token market. when the ICO is successful, it's really worth your profit. but there are ICOs that will come back to the SCAM so it's just a little bit different from the ICOs.

I've also felt regret when I did not make the right decision just as I did not buy altcoin when dump, then tomorrow the altcoin price was high.
I think with 100$ you can buy bitcoin and hold it until you can get online on the internet, although 100$ small value for investment so don't expect too much big profit.
It is normal for someone to feel bad for not making a certain decision that would have been profitable in trading. However, it is better to just overlook it and move on rather than sobbing about it since we cannot after all change the hands of time backwards. The market is big and when you miss a certain opportunity, there are so many more opportunities left to make use of.

The reason why I love trading is none other than this that every time you will trade, you are going to have profit. The profit you are going to have can be in term of money (when you actually get profit) or you can have a profit in form of a great lesson (when you actually suffer a loss). So you need to make a good decision and that too as early as possible to avoid any further regret.

Totally agree. I also think that you should only invest in projects in which you really believe. Otherwise, you will be panicking every time the price drops. If you believe in a project, you will HODL no matter what, and guess what - this is often the best decision. With 100$, probably the best option is a promising ICO or a coin that has just been released on the market.

With 100$, probably the best option is a promising ICO or a coin that has just been released on the market.
Good advice, the hardness we never know and very difficult to distinguish the quality of ICO. hundreds of ICOs are present like froth, some scam and some are just junk coins.
there is no good option other than learning to take advantage of the expertise they have.

Don't fall in your emotions, overcome it and become stronger cause life is hard.

You are getting this wrong many who invests in btc to only get profit never really get's, you mentioned you would have to go offline that means you might not have sufficient cash in your real life then why do you stilll want to invest in btc , btc is any quick money making scheme there are many different factors like demand and supply what if the price falls you are technically over.
Invest only your savings or extra funds which you won't require.

Right. Regret often leads to bad decisions and loss of more money. Relax and take losses positively. For me regret is one of the most useless negative emotion you'll need since you're going to be crying over spilled milk. What happened already can't be changed so best to love with it and move on

I think OP gave a quite interesting idea to use your $100. I also believe that you can use your $100 to buy some promising altcoins such as OMisego, Golem and Waves. Most of the altcoins I've given currently have a low value but it is expected to rise on the upcoming months for its specific purpose. Yes, you can also buy bitcoin but it would only be just limited to 0.02-0.003BTC. You can start trading with that but the return would not be that good. Good luck finding a method that is best for you though.  ;D

The interpretation is wrong. Bad decisions leads to regret not regret leads to bad decisions.

Regret is something that has happened or been done and when it comes to crypto, a missed opportunity. And no, it's not useless. The wonderful thing about experiencing regret is that you can take your wrong doings as a lesson. And because you already know your mistakes, it will not be repeated again or let's say it will minimize resulting for creating a much decisive decision without a doubt.

Regrets are actually caused of just depression. We must not have them within us because they are a source of constant pain.

If I would have done this, if this was like that... all these "ifs" just increase the stress and become obstacle in our way of progress. Like you said, hesitations blur our vision. If we won't make mistake, we will never grow in our lives.

I myself have a lot of regrets for getting introduced to bitcoin late. Obviously if we were among the early investors of the bitcoin, by now we are the millionaires of the crypto world but I am still happy because there are masses that are still blind about the concept of digital currencies and bitcoin.

Even many bitcoins are still to be mined, so we still have a hope of making good capital with bitcoin.

I also regret not trading this summer. I was mad that I made a bad trade and decided to stop trading for a while but I came back eventually and realized I missed a lot of good opportunities. But you shouldn't regret not gambling. Gambling is always bad even if you win. You will probably lose it in your next bet.
Gambling is the game of evil minds and people with good heart and hard earned money are never going to indulge into this destructive game. Gambling eats away your wealth just like dawn eats darkness. Trading is far better as compared to gambling and there are maximum chances of making good profits in trading if right decisions are taken on time.

There will always be regret and we can't get a way with it. But its up to the individual on how he can't react to it. Are you going to dwell it with for the rest of your life and or let it pass and moved forward. Its a negative emotions and that doesn't make a person feeling good. You have to look forward and think about your future. You don't need too dwell pointlessly on past misfortunes. And once you overcome it, your life will be wonderful and have lots of positive aura around you.

Yes many of us have regrets not being able to get in bitcoin early but we still have a chance to earn in bitcoin because we are already in it. We are even lucky that we know it before every body knows and we have the opportunity to accumulate more of it. I have many regrets in the past like trading without even studying how the market works and end up in losses. I have regret in investing in HYIP sites that end up being scammed and what I invested before would have been very valuable now. What I can do now is to move forward and continue learning and earning and make those mistakes as learning ground to do better in the future.

We all do mistakes and from that mistake qe should suppose to learn from it. So if I were on your shoe and I have that money left in my account or pocket then I would invest my money on Bitcoin and leave it there for a couple of years or even a year will do and you will really see the difference by then.

Well this is just an another case since you can able to afford to hold up for long term but there are people who wont really prefer on long term holds which they would really make active tradings. We would eventually learn up from our mistakes that we do commit and as a person who would really strive to learn would pursue even more to make things in order or profitable. Regrets cant be avoided because our decisions arent fixed and change time to time.

That is exactly demanded from us to do when we are in bad mood just because of some regrets. Regrets are harmful in nature and they are never ever productive.

You simply need to stay positive in order to compensate for the losses or wrong decisions you took. As far as regretting with bitcoin is concerned, I don’t think so we are too late to get into crypto business or precisely involved with bitcoins.

2, selling my bitcoin early this year before the price was at the $3000 range and now I wish I still hold those coin

First of all trading and gambling are two different things, and you need to make distinction between them.
This gambling scene which you just described is a safe pathway to addiction.
I know from my personal experience,so i recommend not regretting putting more money into bets, and advise you leaving gambling altogether.
Trading is however another thing. If you're smart and intuitive enough you can make nice profits or worst case scenario stay even.Currently even though bitcoin is at all time high at 5500$ there's still a lot of room to grow,so I recommend investing.

you've really done nothing wrong. What you've been through (the psychological cyclde of "should I sell or not") is something that everyone has to experience in order to learn out of it. After having gone through that several times, you'll understand that you can't predict the market, and you'll understand as well that the best strategy is never to sell. Just buy whatever you feel confortable buying and hold it, don't sell and don't try to predict the market, because you can't. BTC is hovering at about 5k right now and who know's where it will reach, no one does. If you invest just what you can afford to lose, even if you do lose that, it will be fine - because you can afford to lose it!

There is no need to take emotional decisions in order to make grand profits. What’s gone is not going to come back so why you are wasting time over regretting. There are still many opportunities waiting for you to avail them and earn big profits.

Think about those who are still unaware of bitcoin and are not ready to invest into the most expensive currency of the world. Just stay positive and work hard!

You are right! And if we are to be dwelling on regrets each and every time, we will not move forward. There is apparently a lot of room for growth for bitcoin and if he isn't very sure, he could just split whatever he has into both ETH and BTC to keep his mind at rest.

You are regretting now because bitcoin has been pump since the beginning of this year and you don't invest in it. I will advise you that it better not to invest than to invest and lose. Never the less one should buy bitcoin now in other not to regret in future. You can buy some coins now and I believe few months  from now you may amake over 1000%. You should try to do research of coins that has good teams like ripple and good technology like neo and buy them now and in years to come you will thank God, you do so.

Well, I always believed that regret of doing something is always better and less painful as compared to that of not doing something because at the end you get at least the experience to handle the situation when you decide to go for it.

Let me tell you that I have lost my 100% of the capital in my initial days of trading when I used to do many experiments in my trading strategies blindly but as I did trading with the lowest possible capital most of the time, it was less painful. When you are new to something, it is better to test it in lowest possible extent. Warren Buffet says, do not test the depth of the river with both the legs. Thus one should not regret of doing something if he has learned the valuable lesson from it.

Actually bitcoin is much confident coin as compared to others. There are so many perks and wise people are enjoying that. The only problem that is coming in the way is to deal wisely. Like this person you are talking about, if he is not much worried and passes this turmoil just as a normal thing then everything will be going better in his regard. Better luck for him.
