Title: Satoshi36 - Perfectly Fair Bitcoin Lottery, referral program
Post by: FairLottery36 on May 20, 2013, 01:27:25 PM
Satoshi36.com (http://Satoshi36.com) is a perfectly fair bitcoin lottery. The principle is that all the bets and rounds are visible to every user. Each number that the arrow points to is randomly selected. This is easy to verify – according to all-time stats, the probability of win has normal distribution. Therefore, the lottery fully conforms to the laws of mathematical statistics. You might play using Martingale strategy or just bet on your favorite number or numbers. Please notice that for each bet a new bitcoin address is being generated, with a history of just two transactions – acceptance of a bet and a winning payment. All transactions are saved in history, so that you can always check them through a service such as Blockchain or the like.

We earn 2% or your winnings. Check the history of all the games to see that satoshi36's profit is  2% of winnings, and no more.

https://i.imgur.com/QdnJzU7.png?1

We offer:

  • perfectly fair lottery
  • all transactions and round results are saved in history
  • for each bet a new bitcoin address is being generated, with a history of just two transactions – acceptance of a bet and a winning payment
  • user-friendly interface
  • anonymous affiliate program (http://satoshi36.com/affiliate)
  • clear and transparent algorithm for making a bet and following the result
  • know how the round was played and what was the result even if if close the browser
  • check the history of all the games to see that satoshi36's profit is 2% of winnings, and no more

Why have we created satoshi36, since there is a number of bitcoin lotteries already in use?

The answer is simple – other lotteries fail to represent the very process of a game; moreover, we find them to be not so user-friendly.
What satoshi36 does is to bring together a convenient interface designed by a good usability bureau and a clear and transparent algorithm for making a bet and following the result.

Satoshi36.com (http://Satoshi36.com) is a new-generation lottery. Perfectly fair and giving an opportunity to use mathematical algorithms and your own skill rather than face a risk of fraud, as in classical lottery.

Importantly, bets in satoshi36 lottery are only accepted in bitcoin, to make sure that the transaction is instantly processed and guarantee the transparency of the system, so that no one can block or cancel your bet.

Any suggestions, critics and proposals for cooperation are welcome!

maybe a little chat feature (where we could earn btc?) would be awesome! - it gets lonely being a S36 Junkie :'(

 :D

Also
- Can I resend to an address to reuse picked numbers from another round if you get me?

.. basically can I reuse my deposit address? :P

We think about a chat or another social feature, maybe we'll add it later

Satoshi36 generates a unique address for any bet, so you can not reuse your deposit address.

I'd like to suggest the implementation of some daily raffle games whose draw system could be based on that roulette/clock of yours, as long as it would be provably fair and that mandatorily there'd be at least one winner per raffle.

Tip: 13% of bets could also be used to fill next raffles' jackpot.

Success to you!

Unfortunately, we cannot help.
The system generates a unique address for every single bet.
As you know, bitcoin transactions are irreversible.

I played about 15 minutes ago and won and still have not received my winnings. I was under the impression that winnings were paid instantly, so it seems like there is an issue. I played in round #7978 and my address is 1CKm1f9ZkaPH6UkUe4dcqppgKh5NfX83Cd.

EDIT: I just received my winnings. It took longer than anticipated, however I will be playing satoshi36 again!

I played again, and now it never accepted my bet. I would have won too. It was round #7987 and I sent to 1EMgD9E2BPMwPTZPJNtHCTPnMmMCb3w7eJ. It was the very end of my stash (only .02068 btc) and I would appreciate it very much if you could check into it and return them for me. Also, having an email address handy on the website so that issues may be sent directly to someone that could assist in fixing any problems would be very useful, and would add to the professional-ness of you site.

Thank you, but I checked my wallet this morning and found that I received my payment at 9:39 last night. So I went back and checked to see if it played a later round, and found that my exact bet happened on round #8005, even though I tried to play many rounds earlier than that. Luckily I still won, so there is no issue, but I would be curious as to why there was such a delay is accepting my bet.

It is a bitcoin network problem. It takes a different time to confirm and accept transaction. Sometimes it takes 4 seconds and your bet goes into current round. But sometimes it can be 2-3 minutes and if you made a bet in the end of round your bet goes to the next round. We accept your bet without network confirmation, but pay a reward after bet was accepted by the network.
I hope I explained it simple and correct.

Well I would kind of agree but everytime I bet I check immediately if the transaction hits the blockchain and it did for this one. My problem was that I never saw the money received and the result was post only in the history of the recent games.
BTW I am still waiting for the payment of the round #8206, It has been over 24 hours since the round ended and I sent you a PM about it more than 4 hours ago and I still got nothing. What s going on????

Not such a happy player, I deposited, and still had a minute or so till next round so I visited the rules when I went back to play my bet was gone and the wheel blank again, anyhow no worries I waited for the spin, and according to recent games I won, I checked the blockchain and my bet has gone through (round  #10292 bet amount 0.02BTC) from 14P77uJZtiakeBDUa7QyneGwcppq9kdstp however I still have not been paid out?
You have a nice game and concept however all of your major competition has instant payouts, what's the point of playing if you have to wait and wait for payout.

Thank you for the review!

The thing is we accept unconfirmed transactions, so you are making an instant deposit. But we do a payout after 6 confirmations of bet rransaction. Also there are network delays, so sometimes it can make some time to get a reward.

Our system is absolutly transparent: you can write about any problems in this thread or on our twitter, you can see the links on our website.

I see you transaction, you should receive your btc in an hour, or we'll manually send your money.

How long does it take to receive my winnings? Won two bets for over two hours and still have not received payment. Payment is returned automatically to the bitcoin address that sent the payment?

Usually it takes a couple minutes to get a reward. You are right about payment, you'll receive it to your bitcoin address.
Please, tell a round and a bet ammount.

I know you are not asking my advice, but you have a great game with huge potential, I just finished playing at just-dice and they are now on OVER 10 million game rounds. They make you deposit and then you hold your balance on site till you want to cash out. Just an idea.

We are always pleased to hear any suggestions, advices and even criticism, so you are welcome.

We had another conception: a kind of absolutely anonymous lottery, without registration and classic deposit. You choose number or numbers and just transfer money. If you win - you will receive reward back.  We do not keep your funds, only transfer.

Maybe we'll create another project, with classical gambling basics.

Anyway, thank you for suggestion, good luck!

The algorithm was not changed. It's a probability theory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probability_theory) issue. You've got to measure a result on a long distance.

What satoshi36 does is to bring together a convenient interface designed by a good usability bureau and a clear and transparent algorithm for making a bet and following the result. http://ikredits.info/teria.jpg

The selector's design is actually nice, but it gets unresponsive as soon as you select something above 10 numbers.

Unfortunately this is all you got here, a nice number selector. Is there any reason for playing this instead of any dice site ? All I see here is a 36-sided dice, which takes a couple of minutes to roll. If I missed your main feature, you should try harder to show which feature is that.

Today I saw this site promoted on one of my favorite paid to clicks... I almost became an affiliate.

But you have a spelling error, "adress"... Call me crazy, but when I see a spelling error, I instantly distrust the site.

If a site can't be bothered to run spell check, I wonder about their professionalism...  ???

Hi all,

I have just investigated this site and I can see the catch.

When you place a bet, the numbers seem to be "randomly" chosen so that it almost always falls on a number you did not bet on.

As a test, I saw that the numbers chosen for the last 15 or so draws were all above 10 except for one, and looking back further, numbers below ten were not chosen very regularly.  So I placed a bet on the numbers 10-36, which gave me a 75% chance of winning.  I figured my chances were even higher as I would only lose if a number between 1-9 was chosen, and these hardly ever came up historically.  (First bet was draw 123985 for those who want to check.)

But then suddenly every time I placed a bet the winning number would fall between 1 and 9!  Here is the sequence of winning numbers - see if you can spot where I started placing bets ;-)

[19] [7] [13] [30] [33] [28] [19] [13] [24] [2] [2] [24] [3] [2] [8]

Interesting how they suddenly all go below 10 at the end, isn't it!  Except for the 24, which happened when my bet took too long to get confirmed by the Bitcoin network so it went into the following draw instead, making it look like I would have won had I placed my bet a little sooner...

I also signed up for an affiliate account and used this link to start playing, and the games I bet on did show up in my affiliate account.  However despite losing 0.03BTC, I received no income in my affiliate account.  At the very least I should have received 1% of this (half the site commission) which would have been 0.0003BTC, but it shows up as 0.0000BTC.  Of course at that rate it would take a very, very long time to build up the minimum 0.01BTC needed to withdraw your funds.

Anyway, I thought I would post my findings here for the benefit of anyone else thinking of using this site.  I wouldn't say it's an outright scam, but it's definitely rigged.  Not one to use if you want a "perfectly fair" chance of winning!
