I am getting tired of all these posts in this forum expressing apprehension over the current dip that Bitcoin got into. Rather than spread FUD, we should see the history of Bitcoin and by doing so we could realize that this is quite normal. There had been many price corrections in the past and there can be in the future.

Those new to Bitcoin have to just relax and hold on to their Bitcoin as soon our beloved coin can be back on surging. Remember that any dip in price can mean an opportunity for many to beef up their Bitcoin hoard...and that in turn will re-energize the whole market and before we know it Bitcoin is again slowly climbing up the hill.

Would you like to Bitcoin to go down as $100? Of course yes, so that we can all buy as many Bitcoin as we want. Though it is just a dream...it might not happen.

Only new investors get panic when there is small correction or dump in the market, elite traders and whales will just buy all cheap bitcoins available in the market.

We shouldn't forget that there is really strong community behind bitcoin that is supporting current demand for bitcoin which is very hard to crash now.

Bitcoin enthusiast which I am one of them has determined to make it remain strong to the extent that it may not fall  below $3,000 again. Upward movement has been guaranty and as at the time of making this post bitcoin is above $4000 across most of the exchangers platforms sites.  Seeing bitcoin at $100 by tomorrow is very impossible and like some one has remind us here there is a strong community behind bitcoin that will never allow bitcoin to fell bellow certain level.

Yes. The best thing what can do elite whale - is just buy bitcoins. And wait, wait, wait. Just 3 years for example. And it will be the best deposit compare for deposits in real life.

The best deposit is to a good ICO like Kyber (whitelisting closed) - decentralized exchange or OMG, the future of payments in South-East Asia. Even if Bitcoin went from 4k to 40k, it's still only 1000 %, which you can do through good tokens many times before bitcoin really hits 40k. It's not a problem to start with 1 bitcoin and throught ICOs make it to 10, but I'd rather hodl good ICOs than bitcoin, much more potential.

Its just part of their job mate. I think some of them are really paid schills to put a lot of FUD here specially when the price is dipping as we have seen the last couple of days. But the price today has recovered so they failed again.


Well that is their target, those newbie's here who just enter the market and they are shaken if they read some rumours here. Its gonna be a hard lesson to learnt in the beginning of their journey. But we didn't fall short of giving them advise not to sell if there is a price dip. Its up to them to understand it and use common sense.


Nice thoughts. We will all be bagholders of bitcoin once the price goes down to $100 but realistically it won't happen as we already know that bitcoin steam continues to move forward. So better hodl today and not sell it.

Yes if bitcoin price down at 100 dollars we can buy more bitcoin in that scenario but what if bitcoin price not increase if the 100 dollarsrech possible those investor will buy  another coin . But it depends on the situation maybe the price decrease lower than 100 dollars or increase again. We actually we dont what exact happen. But I hope the price will increase more for now so we can make a lot of profit.

It just a dream that you can't happened mate where already in a successful one where people and users who uses bitcoin are in a different level you should know that this is not that joke that fbitcoin will fall that instantly since price bitcoin is now at the price range of 4000 and runing towards to 4,500 maybe if all of the users will sell there coins then maybe it will become that price you specting.

If bitcoin price drop to 100 dollars for one bitcoin, do you expect fast recover after that or what? I would like to hear your opinion about what comes after this drop? You think just about profit, and you like everyone else to buy on 100 dollars and later to sell for 4000 dollars, but what you believe in, some magic maybe?
Some coins, I will not mention any, worth more then 100 dollars, plenty of others are close to that. If bitcoin drop to 100 dollars, you can expect to drop on 10 or 0 after that, and other coins to take bitcoin first place.

Well good catch, those newbies are the ones that keeps on saying like this. And the trolls as well, maybe they are getting paid for trolling and making threads to spread fud here in forum. There are many people who become rich by believe in bitcoin, when bitcoin price soars and most people sell their bitcoin, some people keep hold bitcoin. For those who panic whenever bitcoin price decline, or tempted to sell whenever bitcoin price rise, simply can't get rich in this community.
We know there are a lot of speculations about bitcoin price may reach $5000, $10000, $15000 and so on, if you believe in bitcoin can reach those price, why still complaint about bitcoin fall down? It just an opportunity to buy at cheaper price.

Everything that happens in this market gets greatly exaggerated. At the time the price is going up, they immediately expect $10,000 to be reached this year, or even next month! If the price happens to go down, people start turning into bears directly -- people here are as volatile as the price is. If they have enough brain cells, they will at some point outgrow their noobish way of acting/thinking. Most important is that we (those who know how to deal with various situations) end up being the real winners. All others will be destroying their capital by panic selling and buying back at higher levels, and then selling at a loss again.

We do not need to panic with the rise and fall of bitcoin prices, but if bitcoin reaches $ 100 in my opinion it will not be possible. Yes it can happen but not up to $ 100. When it comes to $ 100 investors will panic and elite merchants and miners as well as whales will buy as much bitcoin as possible. As they know when bitcoin prices rise back there when they sell so it can generate huge profits.

Exactly my point of view, those panic posts about Bitcoin dying and similar every time when the price is a bit down really get on my nervs. But I think that reason for that is large number of unexperienced users that appear each day.
I think that many would like for Bitcoin to get to 100$ but under condition that very soon after that will be worth at least 10000$, otherwise what is the point. But this is not going to happen.

Of course, it will never happen. Bitcoin had gone through a lot and it has proven itself sturdy and resilient enough despite the many battles it has seen. There had been and there is a group of people working to dethrone Bitcoin as the most famous and most utilized cryptocurrency but they will not succeed. Bitcoin has a strong community support and all the skirmishes right now leading to the November fork will be gone by next year. I am guessing that 2018 can be the banner year for Bitcoin and where its true potential as a currency and as an investment tool will be unleashed.

Depends upon hashrate shared by BTC versus BCH/BCC. If below 2.43% of total those $100 would be a sane market level.
The value depends upon utility too. Watching the DNM situation the last fluctuations seem to have calmed down.

Look the price bitcoin is now 4200 dollars. And I think 100 dollars for bitcoin it will not happen in this year or maybe next few years . Maybe it will happen in the after decade but I hope it will not happen. But if its happen I will buy more bitcoin so I can make a lot of money in the future. Increasing and decreasing price have both benefits. So dont worry if the price decrease . More bitcoin more profit to come.

There is no definite with bitcoin, it could happen if there is something that is not in want happen in the future. But for the moment I really can not imagine it happening, because what I think is the opposite, that is the development that will happen from bitcoin and make the price go up.

The idea sound good. If the price dip to 100$ I'll be surely buying some but looking into current scenario it seems to be a dream and it doesn't gonna happen now as price is likely to go up only...

$100 a Bitcoin will officially be an end of Bitcoin era. People will have huge losses and would never come back to cryptocurrencies or in particular Bitcoin. At present we surely aren't heading to that direction. Bitcoin today has better potential than ever. It has long to go. $100 is unlikely to happen at least for a decade.

I think the new investors is a bit paranoid, a dropping is an usual thing happen for Bitcoin, the rising of Bitcoin also sometimes really fast and continuous, if Bitcoin drop until 100$ there will be a massive buying, Bitcoin still a very valuable investment, sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down, no need to be worry unless it is drop because of the huge event like hardfork

When I saw the thread's tropic I thought this is some thread from 2013-14 and someone has necroposted. But as it seems some people really believe that BTC will drop to $100. Wake up! it's not gonna happen.

Yeah. I don't even understand why they are doing this to us. Aren't they contented of what they are posting every now and then? Definitely, I still believe that it won't gonna happen that it will drop to a hundred dollar. As I've noticed also to other threads that they are too consistent in putting bitcoins' name down. Well, they don't know the future. I guess there is what we called spy and to tolerate this matter in whatever cases it may be. And also, maybe they are paid for it. It won't give a damn benefit on them if they keep doing that. They are giving themselves a bad model in this currency of bitcoin world. We know the fact that there will never be successful spoilers when the good side is rising all the time.

When we say that there is probably going to be an adjustment coming it's not because we want to spread FUD. It is because bitcoin is definitely in a bubble, and the end of growth will come no matter what. There is no way that this type of growth is going to be sustained for a long period of time.

Again, we've seen the rebound that comes directly after the dip. By buying in the dip, you are able to get yourself some cheap coins.

Just remember btc price is like a pendulum. It always over-corrects.

Completely agree with you. This had to happen, sooner or later. Bitcoin is going to go up in teh long term, but this sort of short term profit is simply not going to last for long. This is true with any investment asset, not just limited to bitcoin.

And yeah, if people just took their emotions out they would have made a heck of a profit on these trades. Could have bought in at around $3800 and flipped it at $4100+ for an easy profit of $300+ per coin that could be magnified by margin.

Anyways OP, i don't think that holding is always a good idea especially when times are uncertain like now. I'd say diversify, sell half of your coins and keep half in bitcoin so that if it rises you gain profit, if it loses value you don't lose everything.

if the price is back to $100, then i think its a big opportunity for us to buy bitcoin as much as we can and we can hold it like before. but if after $100, bitcoin is ended then i think its the big losses for every people which invested their money in bitcoin like above me said. i think this will be the new era for bitcoin because there is many people still talking about bitcoin split and crash in every where.

If bitcoin were to go down to $100 it would be the best opportunity ever to invest on bitcoins. Even if it is just a dream, there is still a probability of it happening but the chance is so low. I doubt if we will ever see those price ranges again since bitcoin got a lot of buy support so even if it goes down, I believe it wont go way beyond 800$ price because I believe it is the new floor price of bitcoin if it were to drop in price.

This is just a located day dreaming. It probably never happen. Though it happen, you won't buy BTC when BTC die.

why buying some if the value falls down to that level for sure if this things happen and there's no big news regarding to its crash I think I will go all in

I agree on you mate. I can't even retaliate how this speculation created on their toxic minds. We all know that bitcoin has this stable unstable effect of the prices or the value itself. We can't predict when will it rise and fall but the sure thing is that it is profitable for us people in this kind of negotiation and investment too. I would say that it won't happen the drop off 100 USD for sure many investors will save that amount and the expansion of demands will be great and out numbered so as the fluctuations with a minimal effect it bounces back with higher rate also.

Bitcoin value is volatile but I dont think it will happen to go down to $100. If for example price will be $100 there are many users will invest in bitcoin. But ofcourse if price down users expect value will rise.

We would love to see dip prices of bitcoin but speaking on $100 i think it would be an another story because if the price would roll back on that range then we can say that theres really bad happening on bitcoin and im sure most people who did invest or put money on 4k price range will sip out the last money they would able to get on the last $100 price of bitcoin for sure to cut loss.

Waiting for a huge dip to buy Bitcoin today will keep you waiting and you might loss the buying opportunity at $4000 also. Never play the waiting game with Bitcoin else you'll miss the train. No matter at what price you bought today. Profit is always there in Bitcoin investment if hodl for some months to years.  Thus, stop waiting and start investing.

Well for one there are a lot of bitcoin supporters that would not allow bitcoin to go down that price although a lot would really look forward to bitcoin going down as much as $100. Though it is unlikely to happen now but it is actually possible come to think of it.

The spreading of FUD is actually a form of cancer that needs to be cut off or ignored by the majority of people in the crypto space you are not the who is tired of such. The moment there is an increase in price, you start seeing them coming with when will it reach the sky but the moment a dip is witnessed even temporarily, they are quick to fill the forum with threads of it bursting and the likes. If anyone cannot control his emotions, then crypto is not for you.

If it goes down to such a price,  yeah, truelly it will be a very good time to make a high purchase,  but on the other hand,  who will want to sell theirs at such a low price? Lmao bitcoin can be dead if the price will be at $100 tomorrow without any reason since lot of users now are investing their money into bitcoin and expecting that bitcoin will be the price of $5000 or more they need profit where some of them didn't trade it into altcoins they just invest it and waiting for the growth of bitcoin if bitcoin price goes down i will never use anymore.

Yes really this is not going to happen as bitcoin is on its way up. I suggest bitcoin will never see a price dip of $100 anymore because it has crossed all that stages long before.

Sure there is a lot of support when it comes to bitcoin as many have invested a hell lot of money in it,only new investors do get panic when there is a correction and as we see in the past the market do recover really well even if there is a big dip.

Looks like this statement very opposite with the fact that is happening. I think and absolutely sure bitcoin will not fall down drastically to $100, this is not possible at all. Even there are already some economist who have predicted bitcoin will continue to increasing in the future.

I agree!  Bitcoin will be $100 ... higher tomorrow   :P .  Bitcoin is not an abandoned project without any good developer on board.  It is actually the most supported cryptocurrency  so before Bitcoin plummet to $100  we can see weaker cryptocurrency to plummet to worthlessness first.

Of course I want that to happen. But as to what you've said, it might be impossible now. Bitcoin has founded a firm foundation that can sustain any attack or any dump that might occur. So by simply saying, We will not see Bitcoin go lower to such level unless Bitcoin eventually dies, permanently.

There are some people argue want of bitcoin down $100 but there are some people want a bitcoin will not decline even want constantly improved so that it can be profitable for those who profit from selling but there is also seeking investment by buying when bitcoin declined from $100 even get to $1000 because this is the right time to buy but I expect this will not happen in the bitcoin will continue ascending

The price is on upward trend but in few days it will be down by $300. There are many speculations around price point. Even if you see in last three months it has been double and have been stagnant over some days now. More people have enticed towards bitcoin and have become eye catching. These are market standard to play around bitcoin price, many brands do the same and make profit out of that.

There are many malpractices happening around price point.Many players in market have fair play on this.

The price now is exceeding 4500$ expectations by most. And to make it 100$ below is not just an ordinary day for bitcoin if it happens it will ba a disaster that I won't be part of. If it will happen in any means, BItcoinCash will replace bitcoin on top and hope anyone who think that way may change there mind. It is a scary prediction even just to think of it.

That's true indeed, it is impossible for bitcoin to get back to that price unless there will be great crash will occur. Going back to that price will be favor to us because we will buy a lot of it and wait for its pump again to earn high profit which is impossible to happen.

I am sure that if bitcoin drops till 100 usd, it can not stop there. If it drops that much we may understand that there is a big problem on blockchain or algorhtym. So all crypto coins would be useless in such situation

I don't think the price of Bitcoin will ever drop that low again. I don't think it will ever drop below $2000. Even that would be considered a huge drop compared to current prices above $4200. That would be a drop of more than 50%.

I do expect some kind of correction soon, but I think high prices are here to stay. There are too many people investing now and buying at these high prices for the price to completely collapse.

How do expect the bitcoin price to 100$ when the price is on the marching to 5000$. There was dump happened in the year 2013 but there is no chance that bitcoin to touch the ground price again.
You hold the bitcoins you have with you. It will double and triple the value you see now in the market price chart.

By considering all the faithful adopters of bitcoin, I guess OP must be have forgot to add "k" in the title after $100 lol. Bitcoin is going strongly hence we are all heading toward $100k levels and not just toward $100 levels. Even bitcoin prices may go down below $4000 levels then we can see lots of new investors coming into buy more. Hence never ever it will be possible to hit any prices lower than $1500 too (in any extreme conditions too).

Its impossible to happen right now that i think more people are supporting bitcoin and using including my friends and my cousin that i already refer bitcoin to use for online shopping and earn for internet marketing for business purposes.
So it is impossible to happen that we can see the price will crash in that value even in 1k is impossible to happen right now..

frim it's value now $4594 , that will be impossible . This week, and almist every week of this month btc puts record and when it dumps it doesn't goes low. Btc will never go down less than of its value now since many businesses relying into it now.

Reading the last posts of this thread, it is evident to me that the majority only writes answers based on the title of the thread, without taking the trouble to read the content.

It is clear that OP was being sarcastic about those who continually speculate about the decline of bitcoin sowing uncertainty and doubts about bitcoin. And it is also evident that those who like to share these apocalyptic predictions against any eventual correction in the price of bitcoin should take some basic lessons of economic theory to understand that price never behaves in a linear way, but in waves, so corrections will always occur now and when the bitcoin price is worth a million dollars.

It will be depends if we buy bitcoins in very cheap price at $100 because there is a chance that bitcoin will be die soon and that is why there is still value because there are bitcoin was stuck or those bitcoin are in nowhere where sending bitcoin in the wrong place and never get them back or use the,..
If the price from the present price was drop until $100 value its impossible people will buy bitcoins again back that i think they will think that this is the end of bitcoin and it will never rise up again..

Bitcoin is decentralized and so is the market. Thus, Bitcoin won't be falling to $100 in one day if such circumstances occur. The beauty of decentralized market is that nobody is controlling the price. Bitcoin doesn't have binary future means it is not like either it would rise or dies. Until there is trust among people Bitcoin will survive and right now it will rather grow due to increased demand.

I think that in the next few years we will not talk about the death of bitcoin. It is actively developing. And now its price goes up. I can not imagine a situation in which the price could fall to $ 100.

It's hard to believe that bitcoin price is fall down into $100 however, there's a possibility that it happen but I'm not sure when?. Because for now bitcoin is in demand into different countries of the world and I also believe that bitcoin for now is healthy.

Tlday price is already 4600 dollars and for sure it will continue to increase before end of this year 2017. We dont know when the exact date when the price reach 100 dollars but I hope as of now the price will increase. Maybe it will happen the price 100 dollars after few decades . So on that year we our now a millionaire person. If that happen we can buy a lo5 of bitcoin.

very difficult to think about it. it can even be said that bitcoin prices tend to rise. although down, the price will not reach the price of $ 100. well, although it is possible, no one expects it to happen.

Though it might not happen there are many people wants to go down that price. What if there are sabotage that bitcoin will decrease in that kind of amount?? If it will ever happen once this year and in a couple of days the price also increase 20x or more then those who buy or invest at that moment will be instantly reach by this year but as you say it is just a dream that might never happen but I think a $1000 is more of a reality and that is what I've been waiting to happen this year.

Are you joking? There's a clear reason why these people do this. They are trying to manipulate the market. There's always a fear-based group out there that's trying to push everybody around and manipulative trying to get them to do this or do that all based on the fact they're going to go tomorrow. Yes .it's not at all possible to see that value ever.Bitcoin is the king of all altcoin.Yesterday the price of bitcoin is 4300$.Now it's 4157$.So it will soon reach the Value of 4500$.Their is no doubt in that. If you want to see the value of 100$ means,it will ever or never possible.

For those who uses bitcoin as a payment method and exchange their fiat money at the time when they want to pay something with bitcoin, it doesn't anyway not play any role if bitcoin will be $100 tomorrow.

Only the traders and those who use it as a value storage are crying now after it has lost 10% of its value!

It's clear that gold is an unlike more stable value storage and the market cap also confirms this.

Everyone wants it to get bitcoin for 100$ but the problem is when bitcoin sheds 500$, we start buying it. We think that it is already a bargain, so the price goes up again and sometimes even higher than the previous ath. And it keeps repeating. FUD and every tactics to bring the price down won't work because of this. Sorry but you won't have a chance to buy it at that price anymore.

True buddy. The price of bitcoin is rise day to day. Their may be fluctuations of price in bitcoin equal to dollar. But the price will not goes less than 4000$.In past two the price may fluctuates but not constantly increase or decrease. So you must think of that. The thing of 100$ will not happen in future also.

That is right even if the price of bitcoins will fall in future it will never fall that low and for me that price is history now and if you are waiting to buy bitcoins at that low price then your are wasting your time as now we will never see that price of bitcoin as price is getting higher and higher and the same growth we will see in future too.
