Title: Error in translating BCC
Post by: Alex0709 on August 22, 2017, 10:48:44 AM
When withdrawing my coins from the BCC from the exchange, I made a mistake when I indicated the address of my blockchain.info purse. At the same time, I translated my BTC to the same purse. BTC quickly enrolled, and BCC - no. In the shadowy support of the purse they told me that they only store my coins. Technical support for the Polonix Exchange is silent. How do I return BCC?

the only way is to contact support and to pray
when opening support ticket fill as much as possible details, do not miss any questions, be precise
Good luck with that!

If I understand you correctly, you sent BCC to an address in your blockchain.info BTC wallet. If that is the case, then it is possible to recover your BCC because BCC and BTC addresses and private keys are interchangeable.

Here is the solution in general terms. I don't know the details.

1. You must get the private key for the BTC address you sent the BCC to. If you sent to a blockchain.info wallet, then it is possible to recover the private key with the right software. Note that blockchain.info support cannot do this for you.
2. Import the private key into a BCH wallet.
3. You have your BCH.

Agree, so stay calm :) u didnt lost anything.
Be extra carefull next time, because next time it could be irreversible.

BCC is quite a ride to begin with, a lot of confusion i don't know many things about it yet.

There is nothing to do but be patient, I have experienced this. And feel uneasy. But all went well and I did not lose my money. Do the procedure well and do not make mistakes again. This is a valuable lesson.
