I have that whole section on ignore.  Unnecessary coin announcement threads filled with posts asking to do translations, asking about social media campaigns, giving false praise, etc.  It's a shit fest.  Who needs that clogging up your feed?  That's the only way I know of to "sort" it.

Agree, this is the only way to get rid of those threads if youd like too but would really time consuming for you if you do it manually considering there are lots of Announcement threads. If you dont like to be hassled then dont bother to those things and just let them on that way.

I think you can seek some ICO website for help, such as https://www.coinschedule.com/, you can sort these ICO by starting date and there are also some links to the official website and the whitepaper.

i don't know anyone who doesn't like money, and i certainly don't know anyone who doesn't like easily earned money. and an ICO is like a free money for the developers. of course there are lots of them, it is the new age of gullibility and everyone wants a piece of the action.

if you want nonICO cryptocurrencies then stick to the good old altcoins instead.

There is only way to know this bybreading about their white paper and roadmap. Do get all the infornation about the product and services they are going tp provide it speaks a lot about it.

Most inportant you can do is, chexk their social presence and speak with thr team closely. If they respond you always and on time then it neans they are good ICO and trying to establish good public presence.

However, 90% of the ICO are shit so you can identify the idotic coins very easily. Poor presentation of the ico and related campaigns will also let you know thr goodness and badness of coin. Hipe you find this useful.

Why would you sort it out, just check each and see whether which is interesting or not and ignore the rest if you think they aren't going to be a good project for you. But just so you know, you won't be able to know unless you see the price once its released. Take Monaco for example.

We are certainly on the ICO bandwagon, this is a good thing, mainly, as after the weaker organisations (with no solid business and development plan) fall, the strong, honest and forward pushing will remain.

As always, just be careful and don't invest what you cannot afford to lose.

Why not just search for the ones you really want to read? That way you can avoid looking into ICO announcement threads. There is no way you can really ignore those if you would lurk into the announcement sections because that section is really meant for announcing new projects and ICO's. If you want older ones, the only way to read them is to find through announcement thread that is full of ICO ann thread unless you know what altcoin ann thread to search for already.

yeah, too many ICOs and most of them are not good. I believe that some of them are even frauds which are trying to steal people money. AS you can see, in the last year, there are many HYIPs, right now. There are likely a thousand of ICOs. Just focus on the coins which are not ICOs because I believe that they are greater

If you are seeking for latest news from some projects that ICO stage is over, you can just join in its official medium platform, such as slack, reddit and so on.

Most of the votings will be rigged and powered by ICO's. It's hard to know the value of an ICO. You have to do allot of researching and in detail point table. Right now am in dimcoin and Kickico, both are going to be a hit.

Is it true ? I think the purpose of ICO is to raise funds, so I do not agree with your statement.

ICO in the forum is a small part of the whole market indeed, many ICO projects can find information in the forum, but they will still appear in your sight, the main reason is the profits from ico is so easy, no need to do anything else

There are a lot of poor quality ICOs about, but there are also some good ones (like Aventus!). You just need to pick through them. It's usually fairly obvious which ones merit further attention.

The ICO side of crypto is booming right now because there is opportunity to launch business with the help of the community in a way that has never been seen before.
I do believe a majority of these ICOs will not survive there both there launch's and the test of time along with there competitors they face but in the short run there's plenty of money to be made on short term market gains

From my point of view it all depends on what they offer on their project, I like ico with the duration of a campaign that is not in a hurry so many investors will understand its development and ultimately interested to get involved.

Many projects with similar offerings like other campaigns are not very good too. The emergence of many ICOs will make the choice of investors more varied, if not able to compete then it is a risk because this is a free market.

Why you worry about those kind of wasted ICO has been started everytime. There are some ICO which is good in quality and cost has been increased in some months. Example: waves, targetcoin, bitconnect and others.
If you are worry bad ICO which are all not good.

You are right, most of new project have ICOs. I think the only way is to concentrate on old altcoins, which are already on exchanges and have old good projects. Just ignore the announcement section.

I agree with others who mentioned ignoring of the whole section. Why do you go to announcement section if you don't want to see ICOs? I think there is no use in trying to invest in new coins but avoid ICOs. Furthermore, Most of coins are nowadays released via initial coin offering. If you don't like ICOs then invest in the coins while are already released and are stated on coinmarketcap. There are quite new ones appearing there as well. If you want to invest in brand new coins then icos are  unavoidable.

ICO are there for helping Founder to raise funds. There are project where the Team doesn't have lot of money and ask funds from the community giving access to their coin that hopefully will value much more than ICO price.

There are projects where Tokens/Coins have a very high rate and raise lot of millions, even if they don't really need them.
Personally at the moment I'm having an ICO because I believe in my project and I can assure you that not every ICO is done with the purpose of "easy money".

Just my little thought
