Is there hope in Mining Ethereum? and How long is Ethereum mining going to be profitable?

Id suggest mining something else, maybe a smaller altcoin with lower difficulty. THen you can sell those and buy Eth with the money you get. I think that's the way to go unless you've got a huge mining farm going for you

This is totally up to your expectation from ethereum. If you won't sell the ethereum you mined and keep it for next years, it's profitable. But if you're kind a person who sells whatever he mines for fiat money, you can look for other altcoins like zcash dash etc. They're more profitable for mine-and-sell process.

True,if you do only plan on small scale mining on ETH then it would really be not worth it but as of now the best set-up to be profitable on mining ETH is having 7 GPU set-up minimum atleast which do have 1050-1080 set-ups and knowing this gpu cost wont really be cheap for sure. If you do have the money then i would say its somehow profitable and considering on the electricity cost on your place.

I saw lot of miners posting in social media because they selling their mining rigs.. They say in the hashtag "Mining is Dead" .

I don't know if it is still profitable to mine ethereum, you should check mining calculations websites and check mining section in the forum. There are a lot of experienced people about this issue.

i see people seeling their rigs more and more. if you do have good mining power mine some new coin and wait for pump, then sell. more profit.
