Up for auction is a 2014 Casascius St. Petersburg 1ozt .999 Silver

Auction will start at 0.05BTC and bid increments will be 0.001BTC

Auction begins now, and will end Saturday August 26 at 9 pm Eastern Standard Time.

A reputable escrow will be used, no exceptions!! Buyer pays any fees.

Since an escrow will be used, I will ship it USPS Express and split the costs with the winner.

I could be mistaken, but I believe there was an ongoing thread about how the original capsule actually degrades the rim of the coin's finish over time, but I could not find it... MJ?  ???

There you go. It looks like the capsule has degraded every single coin in that thread including mine. Wish I'd known before.

Looks like the spot is on the coin itself. I do have 2 though so winner of the auction will get their choice. There also is some discoloration around the edge as seems to be the case with all of these that were left in their original case.

Wow.  The USD value on these Bitcoin bowl coins has seemed to have doubled over the last year.
