Title: Any opinions on what I should do with my existing 750ti rig?
Post by: Quixote_55 on August 23, 2017, 02:28:19 AM

I have this rig that I used to mine dash with, but its worthless for that for some time now.  I run it on kopiemtu from a USB stick.  I have been switching around mining mona/lbc/groestl for the past few months.  I unfortunately can't mine eth or xmr with it using kopiemtu.  (kopiemtu does support some of those altcoins, but not with my old cards)

Anyone have any suggestions for me to best utilize this?

Should I get a cheap SSD and install full blown linux and use simpleminer or pimpOS and mine eth or xmr?  Just keep mining the 3 I am based on whats most profitable, or is it approaching time to just scrap it.  I was thinking of buying a solar panel so that the power is "free" and then just run it til it dies.  Just thought I would see if anyone had any other things I hadn't thought of.  Anyone still doing anything with a 750ti rig and care to share?  Thanks.

750ti still good to mine, but there is low profit you can gain. I have one old 750ti mining on xmr, and the price raised recently makes me good profit  ;D

xmr prices going up and 750ti is good for xmr mining. I think you should just simplemine xmr.
