I am new to mining and have a GTX 1070. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to improve its hash rate? Not that it is bad right now but of course, if i could make it better and more consistent, it would be useful. Please do let me know. Thanks for the reply. I am using the EWBF miner. I havent done any overclocking or underclocking as yet. Should i do it? If yes, can you point me to some tutorials on how it is done? Thanks. If you use Ubuntu, you can use nvidia-smi (terminal). But the most efficiency (depends of your electricity costs) is to limit the GPU power consumption. Depends of the model, but the GTX 1070 can be setup to 115 W or even 100 W , instead 150 W, with a very few less hashrate. In practice this one wants more core clock then memory. Thus your goal should be to maximize core overclock. You need to decide how much power do you wanna use via TDP%. Some will go for 100% higher sols but also higher power consumption. Some will stay at 70-80% with lower power consumption. I am currently mining hush..but i do understand your point and with both ZEC and hush using the same algos, i think they should act similar. |
