When you say bitcoin charity do you mean a charity ABOUT bitcoin or one that accepts bitcoin as donations? :-)

Either way.

I just meant charities that help people get up and mining, or give away coins to the needy. Any charity.

I would be interested in running a BTC charity for business ideas to help people with good ideas get up and running :) (I am trying to get a game together that I think could truly help the currency but cant afford it on my own atm :( ....) I heard that there is one place giving away thousands in grants to BTC businesses, I will try too dig up the link :)

Cryptostocks is a good place to get funding I've heard. I'm going to use my Devtome earnings.

I understand space exploration is nice, but I would be happier if bitcoin gets a larger share in our daily life.

Just had a quick look there.... Listing a project costs 2.00 BTC for BTC denominated projects. :0 Fuq dat haha, could have the game made for that much :P

That's kind of just a personal thing. You should start offering Bitcoins for child care on craigslist. Or if you have a kid that is old enough, have them advertise their services in exchange for bitcoin. Voila, bitcoin babysitters.

Devcoin would probably be better. Check out Devtome. It's meant to support development of stuff like that. You just write articles on Devtome and earn 1 share for every 1,000 words you write. Then you trade those for Bitcoin and do what you need to do :)

So like a Bitcoin board of investors.

At its smallest it could be a few family members getting together to buy mom a birthday present. They find out how much they all are willing to spend first and then decide what to buy.

At its largest it is a city of people trying to decide if they can fund a new electric company with people pledging their bitcoins and once certain thresholds are made, they can start getting proposals on what would be the best way forward. Once everyone agrees on one proposal the project is funded and the electric company is built.

That's pretty awesome.

Here is some basic information on my game idea is anyone wants to help out haha :P

I am considering a tycoon style game about BTC mining. The game will be aimed at people who are not actively using Bitcoin at the moment. I want to make a simple beta for the game and put it on a few websites like Miniclip and Addictive games to gauge interest and see if it would be worth going all the way and making a more substantial game.

The concept - You would start off in your parents house on a shitty old laptop or PC and start mining coins. As you save up the coins there will be various things too buy (not sure what yet, maybe upgraded computer parts, new house, multiple commuters). As you get enough coins you will buy a GPU and mine with that. Then ASICS. You will move out of your parents house when you can afford too etc 

Thats only a very basic idea at the moment! A few graphic designer have contacted me about the art work so we will see how that goes

Ok, I think this should just be a facebook or phone app. Like Farmville, except instead of plants you have machines with a certain life span. You buy machines to fill the space, and you buy bigger places, or renovate to make new rooms.

I think it could really work. And you could have special in game dollars that are earned by leveling up, or spending real world money (or coins) and they allow you to buy better mining machines than you could without the dollars (maybe one that has a low has rate but never dies)

Thank you very much for the ideas and suggestions! I am hoping to work on a basic beta first too see what people think :) Funding is the only problem. I will get £130 at the end of the month of adsense and thats going straight in the dev funds haha :P

And you could get like 1,000,000 Devcoins, then give the player the option to submit a wallet address, and earn 1 real DVC each hour they play.

How would i get 1mil devcoin haha :P

Write 10,000 words on Devtome (this round it only took 3,000 words to get 1,000,000+ coins)
