hey guys i just wanna know still worth invest in equipment for mine altcoins?

There are a lot of points of view. But people who have already bought the equipment, continue doing it.
If not, maybe, it's better to take into account bounty campaign? You'll get altcoins for investing your time, energy, knowledge and nothing more

You should post this in the other thread, mining(altcoins) I think. I think that mining alternative coins is still profitable but I can't really tell that because I am not really mining. But I can tell you what my friend told me. It is still profitable but it needs a lot of money to start a system.

I have stopped mining over a year ago.  It was worth it for me at the time because I would only mine coins that were new when the difficulty was low.  I also held onto them until the price was right instead of just dumping them immediately when they hit the exchanges.  Sometimes you hit a diamond and your coins are worth a lot of money.  Sometimes you end up with junk coins that aren't even listed on any exchanges.

It is not very profitable to invest in mining equipment for altcoins. In most cases, you can buy the alts off the market with less money than the cost of electricity for running the miner. This is not even considering the capital cost for mining equipment.

mining altcoins is usually dependent on what you mine. most people invest in GPUs and mine GPU mining coins. and the most famous one of these use to be ethereum and because of its difficulty, fast blocks, huge block reward and also the pumping price, mining it became very profitable. so it was good to buy equipment so far for mining.

but the difficulty is higher, the pump stopped, and to top it all, they are killing the PoW and with it mining.

in other words if you can find another coin that is pumping with a lot of noise, or has a more solid price and can easily be mined then invest. otherwise i say investing in mining at this point is not worth it.

Mining still have profit, but it very small and don't better than investment to trading altcoin or hold Bitcoin, even choose some ICO project for investing to them. For me, in recently mining really bad choice if you have good money for investment.

It depends because there are so many things to consider as you need to know how you can maintain the earning in mining and how mining will work for you with the estimated profit that you may get on it. you may think also the amount that you need to pay in your electricity unless you are using a solar panel to run your mining rigs.

I think mining alt coin still profitable but it does contain greater risks because you really need to choose the correct alt coin to mine, but to make profit in mining you need a lot of things to consider like the electricity and the price changing of the coin, if you really commit and got money you can try it

I guess you will still have a profit when you invest in mining but it truly depends on what you mine and this one requires patience and a little huge amount of money. Since mining is having a downtime; profits are a bit lesser than before. If you want to invest and gain better profits, i guess its best to invest in some ico projects and do some campaigns. Just be cautious in choosing.

What do you plan to mine? The budget for mining bitcoin is now too expensive, if you want to mine ETH and ETC so I think profit will not be too much.
Instead of investing in mining you should put that amount of money into projects that would probably be better

You mean you buy mining equipment but the equipment is not you use to mining, but saved for a long time and sell it if it is rare?
Or do you sell second mining equipment that you have used for mining?

It should be still profitable but trading and holding are more profitable than mining. Invest your money in coins instead of mining equipments.

I guess for other altcoins it is still profitable to invest but for altcoins with high difficulty, yes it is interesting to note that most of them turned out to be unprofitable because og the high cost of mining them. It is up to you which altcoins u wantto mine. I advice mine for future conversion so value already goes up that time. Keep hold and sell later on.

In my experience invested in mining altcoins was not profitable because the difficulty of the coins was increased and the price of altcoins decreased, it made me difficult to get return of investment, buy the altcoins and hold for long time or trading altcoins is more profitable than mining because i don't have to pay the cost of mining activities (pay bill electric, internet and upgrade hardware miners).

Mining is very expensive now unless you have funds for it. The cost in electricity and GPU is needs some of your fortune. Better just to buy some potential coins than to mine. If you will hold it for long term you'll have a sure profit.
For me mining now is not economical.

My friend is also mining altcoins and he also said that its not profitable and he is planning to sell his rig and invest it to trading because he is paying big amount of money for his electricity bill.

Exactly. Nowadays it is profitable to trade coins on the market and perhaps long-term investments are still good. Mining.. Well, I guess it is profitable as people don't stop doing that but you have to spend too much time and money on that at first. Trading is cheaper, safer and faster. I mean, mining at least requires about 4 months for you to return the money you spent on equipment. At that time they may already break.

I think you can try some DPOS coins, you can see some former successful DPOS coins, such as LISK, ARK, AXS and DECENT, maybe you can find other new coins in this mode, there is not too much invest.

Others said mining altcoins is not profitable and expensive. So I would rather invest in ICO project that worth investing for that will give a return profit.

My friend decided to buy equipment for mining. and told me what the problem is now. The problem is that it's very difficult to find good video cards at an affordable price. The sellers began to raise it unreasonably. And the payback period is at least 3 months. I think for such a period it is possible to make a much larger profit by trading on the exchange.

if you want to invest here. Capital you need as well as extensive knowledge about altcoin mine you must have absolute. Because your rival is an investor with unlimited capital.

I dont know if you have all ready the equipment but if you have it already it is worth profitable, you need time knowledge money/capito and more patient, in mining coins sometimes you need to wait until the mined coin reach it spot on he exchange, sometimes you mined a coin which cant see in any exchange. I will just suggest that you keep what you like and invest on it but also consider the time and effort if really worth.

anything that is done or keep trying to give you luck as long as patient waiting and dare to take risks.
 if you invest a lot for a little bit invest little profit so try that much.
