I am pleased to announce a new original Bitcoin-themed artwork. My father recently became heavily involved with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies altogether. He has since started painting Bitcoin-related themes. Below you will find his first painting which is named, "The Bitcoin Bull." I apologize for the poor quality images, I quickly snapped with them with my iPhone, I will have high-quality scans of the artwork available shortly.

Statement from the Artist: To the left we are met with a raging bull preparing for another charge against a large wall. The bull coupled with an upwards-facing, golden Bitcoin symbol that he is seen to be carrying represent the start of a bull market and a rise in the value of Bitcoin. The wall is composed of large rock formations that can be construed as the very blocks that make up Bitcoin. The wall can also be more appropriately interpreted as a market ‘ask’ wall that the bull is hammering down and must overcome. The wall contains hints of green to symbolize the current USD paradigm. The painting also features warmer tones to emphasize on the stresses, frustrations, and uncertainties of the market.

We are in the process of printing 21 limited edition copies which are up for sale. The copies will feature fine Giclee prints on canvas and will match the original size of 24” x 36”. Each print will be signed by the artist, dated and uniquely numbered. Certificate of authenticity will also be provided with each print. Please note that stretcher bars and frames are not included. I am happy to announce that "The Bitcoin Bull" Giclée prints are ready for sale and immediate shipping. All 21 copies were picked up from the lab earlier this week, and we have been hard at work in carefully numbering and individually signing each one. Please note that each painting will come with an official COA (Certificate of Authenticity) which is signed and numbered by the artist.

Ludvig Manukyan's Bitcoin paintings will always be strictly limited to production runs of 21 copies, in honor of Bitcoin's maximum coin supply. Originals are not for sale. Originals will be stored away and are planned to be donated to museums and art galleries in the future.

I think this is a great piece and if I had 0.15 laying around I'd order one asap. Definitely worth the price IMO! :)

It's definitely a good purchase if you're on the death bed. I couldn't think of a better way to waste your remaining money.

This does not look like something that was easily made and you can tell that OP's father has talent. Death bead or otherwise this is a good purchase.

I think it's a fair asking price for a signed limited print on canvas of an early Bitcoin-inspired artwork. You are more than welcome to use the provided scan for personal use ie. print and frame a copy for your own home, and do let us know if you'd like a higher resolution :-).

We're also actively working on many other paintings which I hope you will find worth for your bit, heh.

Agreed. I'd say that all of them will be sold by the end of the week. His next production of the bear will probably already have reservations before it's even finished.

I wanted to take this moment to provide everyone with an update. Before I begin, I just wanted to express our thanks and gratitude to this entire community. We never anticipated that *The Bitcoin Bull* would be met with the amount of exposure and positive feedback that it did. We are absolutely thrilled that many of you enjoyed the Bull, and that we are absolutely looking forward to bringing you more. Ludvig is currently working on his 2nd painting (if you are wondering, it will not be the Bear). We are very excited for this next piece. While I can't reveal too much information on it, sorry :(; I can say that we expect to reveal it early next month. The Bear will follow afterwards as the 3rd in the collection.

Returning back to the Bull, we are happy to announce that all prints are ready for immediate shipment. Unfortunately, due to our local art store running out of 31” mailing tubes, we can only fulfill 7 more shipments until we receive a new batch next week. We have placed an order for the remaining  tubes.

Thanks! I don't know if I would classify it as hyperrealism, hyperrealism paintings generally look like photographs with extremely fine detail. Personally, I think that it contains many Dali-esque elements.

The idea for the painting was mainly done in the form of a sketch -- specifically, in graphite pencil on paper.

Hey everyone,

Sorry for my inactivity over the last week or so, I just started my new job and have been really busy. I am pleased to announce that 4 of the prints have been shipped and successfully delivered to the buyers, we have been receiving really positive feedback so far. I hope to see some framed copies on here soon heh :)

I also want to provide some updates on a few developments.

1. It appears that a good number of the people that put in reservations for prints have not been responding, I am going to consider them as no longer interested and have updated the OP accordingly with the updated and most current list of sold/available copies. To summarize, prints #3, #5, #7, #8, #11, and #21 are all available again now.

2. We are also updating the price of the copies to be measured in USD (variable BTC) rather than a fixed BTC price. We are updating the price to 600 USD, and also removing shipping costs to mainland US. This change was made due to short sightedness in the rapid swings in USDBTC. These changes can be reflected on the main page.

3. I am also happy to announce that the official website/portfolio is now completed -- https://ludvigart.com. Due to popular request, high resolution copies of the digital scan can be found on the main website. We hope you all enjoy.

Hey guys,

I've been hard at work in seeking a better method for payment processing rather than the DM system. Long story short, I stumbled upon some really great piece of software called BTCPayServer. It is a self-hosted, open source alternative to BitPay. It was really easy to implement and truly a great piece of software. It allows you to load your 'xpub' key from your Trezor or Ledger Nano S so for each payment it automatically pulls the next address and auto calculates the amount at time of payment. Pretty damn amazing!

We just finished implementing it on my dad's website, so all new purchases will be processed over the website. We will still honor all DM's and requests over Bitcointalk; but the website is a far simpler and streamlined solution.

Thanks! It's quite amazing knowing that you are your own payment processor on an e-commerce store . :)

Its one thing to accept Bitcoin payments, but to have the entire process streamlined/automated is another 8)

Will be reaching out in regards to setting up the BTCpay server soon! Was keeping an eye on it, but wanted to see it in use first. If it's working well for you, sounds like it is time to make that transition! Woocommerce -> Shopify -> Back to Woocommerce!
