Please allow me to introduce a project I've been working on – a backtesting/simulation web app to play with cryptocurrencies investing. I call it Coin Venture Club – https://coinventure.club (https://coinventure.club).

You can use this platform to test investment strategies and compare them to bitcoin.

I made the original announcement in the altcoin discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2113837 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2113837)) and I thought the service might be interested to you too since you can compare bitcoin to other currencies.

Here is some more information:

What you can see on https://coinventure.club (https://coinventure.club) is a very minimalistic alpha version. My intention was to publish something as soon as possible and to start collecting feedback so that I can base the development on what the community actually needs. Of course I have plans and ideas on what to do next too (see below).

Currently it only supports a simple date-triggered buying and selling but with almost all the altcoins.

• I plan on adding more triggers and a support for multiple strategies. It will be possible to test a complex portfolio.
• I plan on adding support for weighted indexes with (auto) balancing. The website might grow into a crypto indexes publisher. The index weights don't have to rely only on market cap. We might build indexes based on other metrics such as technical innovation score, rumors about a serious attention or whatever else we might come up with that would have a real predictive value.
• I plan on making a powerful UI with zoom on data, inline editing, graphs, visualizations etc.
• AND I plan on using advanced statistics and machine learning methods to "speculate" predictions based on complex market data evaluation.

There probably will be a "club members" area with the most advanced stuff and investing automation.

How do you plan to make money?

Some strategies that I can see include:

* Advertising if there is enough traffic. Visitors who want to test their investing strategies might be a good target group for ICOs etc.
* Paid membership to access the most advanced features or the best performing indexes built with ML.
* A fee for investing portfolio automation / for handling investments into indexes.

With all this in mind, I still want to offer the most of the testing capabilities for free.
