As, the Ripple surged 70% in 24 trading hours from 17 cents to approximate 30 cents it became the most valuable cryptocurrency after Bitcoin and Ethereum. The total value of Ripple surged to $11 Billion. But, Why did Ripple price rise 70%?

I think the price of Ripple didn't jump so high in the bittrex market yesterday the price of Ripple around 0.00006899 significant price increase on Ripple occurred on 22 agust indeed up to 70% but not for today.
And there seems to be positive trend towards Ripple to be able to experience drastic price increase, and of course magnitude of demand in the crypto market affect fluctuations in prices in the market.

I regret that I sold it immediately after the price increased by 70%

get the feeling theres just a few very wealthy entities controlling crypto market.  Why did ripple go up so recently?  Probably a dart thrown by one of these groups landed on it.  something like this:

Ripple has been knocking at the door for some time already. It is used by Japanese banks and other trusted institutions worldwide. The increase in price is really due to them and the ripe time has arrived. Right now, Ripple is on the top in terms of volume.
