Title: Btc wont show on blockchain
Post by: aurora on May 21, 2013, 01:55:59 PM
friend sent me coins but he didnt include fee, now its almost 24 hours and transaction not on blockchain. Is there way to speed it up? Can this transaction be reversed to include fees?
I heard it might take days to show if no fee were included

yes, search the forums. you can delete the transaction from your wallet, and attempt to resend the transaction with a fee.

that is correct. next time, just pay the 0.005 BTC fee (only 50 cents USD).

Sometimes a wallet fails to send the BTC. I had that a few times with Armory.

yes, but it will be much easier to wait a few days. if it still isn't confirmed, remove the transaction from your wallet, and resend the transaction WITH a fee. there are threads with detailed explanation on how to do this, just search ;)
