Title: CENTRA CTR - Is it a scam?
Post by: BittyBatty on August 25, 2017, 03:00:04 PM
Dipped my toes with CENTRA ICO, but lot of red flags for this ICO. I took a chance but scam alerts all over for this token.
While investigating their ethereum  contract i found information as attached.

Why is the token limit so high .. what is the correct token limit for CTR?  Their website says its 100,000,000  but the contract shows way different number.
Can someone throw some light on this ...

For some reason i couldn't find a way to attach the image of contract.

Thanks

In my opinion it is scam! it looks like an improvised project, without solid bases..
Then there are already Tkn, Tenx and Mco. Centra can not compete with them !
So I think it's a fucking project, maybe they can attract a few investors initially but then disappear into nothing..

It looks better than all it's competitors though? Why do you think they cannot compete? Every new venture you get ppl yelling scam etc yet the tokens are already selling on cryptopia so surely that's a good sign right?

The ONLY RED FLAGS about the ICO is that CENTRA PRODUCTS ARE SO GOOD that OTHER IDIOTS, THIEVES, PHISHING SITES, COMPETITORS AND HACKERS want to bring CENTRA DOWN, but if you want to know TITANIUM CARDS ARE ALREADY SHIPPED AND BEING USED by Customers.. I LOVE THIS KIND OF SCAM!!!

I would wait until ico is over and buy at etherdelta or hitbtc. will then be very cheap. maybe soagr strongly under ico price. is now at almost all ico so they are later cheaper. this is a safe variant for all

why people conclude ico scam just because the price? too small-minded if that's the only reason for his consideration. Come on! Just look at some of the media covering it, those who pay 500 ETH will get the centra card facility that is easy to use and very profitable. You can see it on youtube, the first people who using the centra card facility

Centra will compete with Tenx for the banking license. The first card to get that license is the card that will go to the moon. I like the marketing of Centra (mayweather and DJ Khaled) but if you look at overall acceptance Tenx has more cards out there than Centra. Still looking closely at both coins as they may reach the moon in the near future.

Thats just created because NYtimes spread fud without research.  Centra reached out to NY times to address the false accusations and the writer refused to even talk.

US is the most regulated place and hardest to ship cards to and Centra has received money transmitter license in 31 states and working on the rest.  This means they can ship to the US while other companies have not been able to get US license.

Centra has become a Executive member of Chamber of Digital Commerce after US license.  Executive member is a small circle including microsoft, IBM, Bittrex, Overstock, etc.  And the group works closely with policymakers and regulatory agencies for blockchain.

Centra has big partnerships with companies like Bitgo (founders of facebook messenger and https 2.0)

ALSO, it shows people are spreading fud when the poster/user whycentrawhy only posts are ones that bash centra.

There will always be fud, but its up to the individual to do proper research.

Do you still stand by your ''fud'' BS when the CENTRA thread hasn't been updated in 3 months, price dumped like no other then dumped to oblivion? or have you woken up to the fact that CENTRA was/is a SCAM?

It’s amazing to me that the exchanges don’t do any due diligence and will list anything as long as they’re paid.  If a typical crypto investor could spend a few minutes and dig up so many red flags, you would think exchanges would have done the same back then.
