For me, I think the bitcoin price is going to be worth anywhere between $8k - $10k

Why $5000+ is the lowest option? Don't you accept more bearish opinions? I expect it to keep jumping between 4500 and 5000 for the rest of 2017 and never break $5000.
You're expecting too big jumps too early. Bitcoin has gained a lot this year it will take time before it regains the momentum.

I believe Bitcoin will hite $6,500 at the end of December 2017. Most of the burst coming at last week of November.

Hmm i think that till the end of the year Bitcoin will rise even at 6500$ because i really think that the Bitcoin price will explode but you can't know this things , they are unpredictable , especially altcoin prices , they can rise or fall anytime.

yes that is right to say, to i think that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin will trading above 7000$ and even after that its price will continue increasing because people still want to buy bitcoin as bitcoin has a great potential to its price to increase for a long time.

Well being a bitcoin lover I want to see price high as much as possible, but we must see on other hand what is going on in the market so my prediction about bitcoin price is that price must be in between 6200$ to 6700$. May be after November we will bitcoin reaches another milestone.

I dunno is it really an important discussion here? anyway, i think Bitcoin price is like a Christmas gift and everyone is guessing it like kids do. I think the price will be around 10k$ by the march of 2018, and it's obvious that price will rise because of new improvement going on the mining industries this year. I remember those old lonely days when one pc is capable of making around 100-200btc. people are spending it like crazy and when I see my transaction history right now I see I spent more than 20000 $ and I am a kid.

I suggest something about 3.500  up to 5.000 but it can shake little...like 2.900  to 6.000 after more stable 3.000 - 4.400 and after up 

$5000, $5500 at best, I doubt it will go any close to $7000. It's way too much for such a small period of time. Let's keep in mind that Bitcoin's price increased from $1000 to $4500 in less than a year, how higher do you think it will really go? Sounds a bit unrealistic to me.

You see that bitcoin price increase for per month .Previous month bitcoin only 3000 usd+ and now its 4000usd +.so i am not confirm i hope bitcoin price 6000 usd+ in december.Bitcoin is more valuable coin in crpto currency.so i am its never dump much.Bitcoin addded a new fork soon.at lest when this year ended bitcoin price may be 10000usd + .Now everywhere different site and payment are use bitcoin and bitcoin fully full security now.Never waste time hold bitcoin .

I think that's a bit hard to bitcoin to achieve the 8000$ in December 2017, I hope it will cross this barrier but to be optimistic, I think It will be in 5000-6000$, So i voted for the first choice.
I think the price will increase and soon it will achieve the 5000$, I talk about few weeks from now.

I'm fairly new to all of this (charts and price predictions). But I think bitcoin might hit 5000$ before the end of the year. After I think the market will go down for a couple of months.

Maybe above 5000$ but not higher than 8000$. I am just guessing here. It is near to 5000 already so bitcoin can easily reach that within the next 4 months. And I do not believe it can get higher than 8k, at least not within this year.

I think the price of bitcoin by December would play around $6,000-$7,000 .
That's what I think but I hope that it would be higher than that but what I just hope that it wouldn't crash down below it's price right now when December comes.

As per my speculation, bitcoin price must hit at least $5.5k USD by December this year. The way market cap of bitcoin is increasing and the way positive vibes around bitcoin is increasing, 5k USD is the worst case scenario. It can hit up to 8k USD as well.

However, hitting 5k USD is not a big thing, that can happen anytime soon. The challenge will be to sustain this price for a decent period of time. Otherwise traders will make a huge profit and exit from the market. To sustain this price, people around the world should stay invested for more. Then only the price will sustain for longer.

When the August forked happened i was very much happy because i expected changes in the network and the prices started rising,now bitmain is rejecting segwit blocks and it is hurting bitcoin when it comes to transactions because the number of unconfirmed transaction keeps on increasing ,this is the problem when a monopoly decides what to do with their resources and we have another fork coming up in November,so no one could really predict how the market reacts if problems increases ,if everything goes then we could soar higher,if not i am not too sure about it.

I voted for $8k - $10k but I myself not so sure bitcoin can touch such a high that value. But if only seen from the positive trend of bitcoin price increase in this year I think it might be possible. Everything can still happen, we just need to be optimistic and believe in bitcoin.

I think you're right because bitcoin can't exceed $5,000 limit this year, it would be a strong resistance for bitcoin's rise. Maybe next year, we can pass it easily, but not now. I expect $4,700 for it.

It is true that past performance does not guarantee similar performance in the future, but December is usually a month in which bitcoin experiences important increases, especially in the years in which important events occurs such as the previous halvings.

I would like to be very optimistic about it and for that reason I believe that an increase towards the $ 7,500 is realistic, since bitcoin has shown that it has much to surprise us.

I guess there will be a high chance that it will happened because there will be an split that will happened again but in this case i guess if the split become successful 8k$ is already possible if it is not a successful split i guess it will go dump in its price the only cryptocurrency that reasch this market value so we need to considers limitations.

Maybe 5k$-8k$. It is expected that its price will increase in the month of November because of the hardfork that will occur in the month of November. As we remember, the hardfork recently positively afffect Bitcoin community. Thw demand increased as well as its market valu. The investors and most of its users earned profit after the hardfork.

For me I think the price will be  $5000 to $6000 in December there lots of investor coming. And I think because of the hardfork in November theres a possibility bitcoin will increase more.

I think it will be around $5700. I don't really see it going up quite that much. It would be nice though.

5,000 - 6,000 USD price for bitcoin is the one that looks realistic on the option and i think it is possible for bitcoin to reach this year because the segwit is already activated and the lightning network is soon to happen and when that happen, the price of bitcoin will climb very high and the minimum price of bitcoin will be 5,000 USD and i think we can reach more than that.

This would be possible to reach bitcoin at that price. As the price right now is keep increaasing but there will be a split happen on november. So I think after that btc price will rise the value.

i think price bitcoin can reach 8000$ because i see from price the beginning of august low and continues to grow up, and can be at the end december continues grow up to 8000$, hopefully

I think it can break $5000 by December. Overall, it will take some time to achieve that price, however I would probably stay on the bearish end considering the volatility and ability of the media to impact perception.

Bitcoin is a good investment, but don't get too excited about your returns, especially buying in at this time. If you have lots to blow, then yea go ahead. But if you are looking at Bitcoin as an investment I would try and time the market for the best value.

Let's say if this rising trend continues then for sure it can reach $6500 by end of December as you speculated it. Now is the end of August and the price of BTC is slowly hitting back to it's highest peak for this month with up and down cycle. If it will surpass the highest peak for this month by September then it can possibly go much further.

My predication is it will soon cross $5,000 and maybe over $6,000 but not higher than $8,000 at the most it will go to the low $7,000 range and that is the maximum. If it goes any higher I will be very happy, though. hahaha ;D

I think it will be on somewhere between $5,000-$6000 we need to evaluate and also consider and speculate also the upcoming upgrades and as we all know some of the bitcoin enthusiast somehow sell/dump their bitcoin when they see the price is going down. There are already predictions that there'll be pump in the month of November. I think we will reach the 5000$ mark or more. These assumptions are caused by the hardfork that will happen in the month of November. Since the recent hardfork which happened last august 1 made Bitcoin reached the 4000$ mark in just a short period of time. So everyone is expecting that the same thing will happen in November and December.

$7000 - $8000 per BTC is a very likely value we can see at the end of this year, because I'm sure in the end of november bitcoin prices could touch $6000 and bitcoin price increases continue to more than $7000 per BTC by the end of this year.

For sure that will happen, there is a lot of hype about bitcoin, if you enter to another forum (not bitcointalk) everybody is talking about bitcoin, everybody is buying right now.
If this continues, we can see that price at the end of the year, at least $5,5k i think.
Remember we have already made a retracement (it was $4,6k a week ago, and it touched $3,6k yesterday)
So the retracement is already complete, and we are going up again.

I really do think that the first reply is right. I don't think that btc is going to break $5k this year, because if it was to then it would have already happened. I'm not saying that it definitely won't happen because anything is really possible with bitcoin, but it's not likely. Price was already quite inflated when it was at $2.7k, but now it's a completely different narrative at 4.4k. We'd be lucky if we just stabilized at this point and not go down.

I think that the most likely option would be $3000-$3500, instead of anything above $5k.  going  isn't really any more major events this year, the markets are likely to cool down quite a bit.

i think the bitcoin price in december will be ~8000 USD. The whole market is changing in the last weeks and we will see a flood of new investors from the stock markets. We will see so much money flowing into the market, like we have never seen before.

I am predicting that the price of 1 bitcoin on December or at the end of the year might be at the range of $8k-10k also just like your prediction. I have read an article that the person that predicts that bitcoin will reach at $2k predicted that the price of bitcoin at the end of this year might be at $10k. So that would be mine.

Many people including me who think positive to predict bitcoin prices will reach $ 8k at the end of December. Indeed there is no exact information that says it happened, but if seen from the increase of several months it seems bitcoin will continue to creep up until early 2018.

Many experts believe that the price of bitcoin is going to reach $7000 by the end of the year. Although it might seem high, we still have morecthan four months for another big rally, so let us not count out that possibility. But for me, for as long as the price keeps moving at a steady pace, I am good with $5,000 by the last week of December, and maybe another surge by start of 2018 to push the price to $6000.

I think bitcoin prices continue to rise, nobody knows exactly how much bitcoin increases until the end of this year, I read some bitcoin price prediction articles this year will touch on the price of $ 8000 up to $ 10000, hopefully we take advantage of this condition to make a profit.  :)

I estimate that Bitcoin price will be 5.000+ by December 2017. Because Bitcoin is in a difficult situation, there are many competitors. Bitcoin will have to show strength if it wants to keep place, Bitcoin can show his power by increasing the price and raising the market cap. Market psychology.

We're on good track of bitcoin development right now, segwit has been activated and cause bitcoin price could stay above $4300 again and it seems increase slowly, better than on Bull runs obviously. If wallet developers could adjust the codes to suitable for segwit then we will enter a new phase of 'segwit trial' in order to test it is works or nothing changes. If segwit could resolve bitcoin problem regarding high fees and transaction time, maybe bitcoin could reach $6000 in the end of this year.

Everyone in Bitcoin cummunity is expecting for the inflation that will take place in the month of December. And I think, we will hit 6000$ mark before this year end. We assume for the pumps because there'll be a hardfork in the month of November and probably, it will affect in the month of December. These speculations are because of the hardfork that happened recently which made Bitcoin's market value continuously increase that reached the 4k$ mark in just 20 days

From now it seems bitcoin value is stable and fluctuates in the market greatly. Like rahar02 said in my speculation I expected that bitcoin price were reach $6000 before end of the year. However there's a thing bother than me, but I believe that bitcoin handle it.

In my own assessment, Bitcoin's price by December will be $7000 to $8000. We are entering the middle of $4000-$5000. And we are almost at the end of August. So by December, it would be more than $7000 but perhaps less than $8000.

From a trend chart that tends to rise. I think until December can reach the price of $6000. hopefully this increase continues to lead to the positive side.

I think it'll hover around 4k-5k in early december then it'll go up even higher a few weeks after new years probably hit 5-6k. Although I think the potential for bitcoin is really high it's pretty absurd to think it'd hit 10k by december imo.

Yes nobody knows for sure about bitcoin, but everyone is hoping for the progress of bitcoin that continues to increase this is certainly in line with the growing users who continue to increase from time to time. As prediction I have an estimated bitcoin price will reach $ 7k at the end of this year .

$5000 is something that will probably be here in a month. it is not far and the market is also very ready for it but at the same time we have a big fight coming on for bitcoin in a couple of months after this rise. the fight with the SegWit2x proposal and that can cause a lot of issues.

We have the same estimate actually. As we head to November, the Bitcoin community would have so many noise regarding the new hard fork to take effect and of course the value can be affected so that it might not go beyond $5,000 but after November there can be a sudden jolt resulting with Bitcoin finally breaking the $5,000 level and possibility into $8,000 but this is already an optimistic point of projection. Hopefully, by next year things will really go rosy with Bitcoin.

I will speculate that this December is going to 8000$, recently I saw a great enthusiasm from the users, after the BCH forking event, I saw that a lot of people still support BTC and that show that there are nothing that can stop Bitcoin and now the price keep on rising, it is great to see Bitcoin keep on growing

Bitcoin price is very unpredictable. To be honest I didn't expect that btc wil increase this fast. So I'm guessing that by December maybe it will hit $6500.
Anyway, let's be optimistic and hope for a positive result.

I voted for the highest posiible price in the poll which is $10000-$20000. I don't have guarantee that Bitcoinprice may reach that value but I'm really hoping that it will happen. I want Bitcoin to have a high value before this year ends and if possible before December so that everyone of us will have a happier Christmas.

If it seems to me personally, i think it will be priced between $7000 - $8000. I'm somewhat confident in my predictions, there are already economists who say bitcoin prices will continue to rising. But i think in December it seems will be reaching that price but hopefully beyond what i predict.

Still around $4000 for sure. Becaause there are a new bitcoin created after the second hard fork and if that coin has value, bitcoin will still remain $4000. But in the next year, bitcoin will have more chance to surpass $10000. Everything will be very good when the segwit2x has succesfully activated

I feel bitcoin's transaction fee is too expensive now, and transaction confirmation time is too long If bitcoin adjusts this in the near future the price of bitcoin can grow very fast

There are 3 wise speculation i can say:
1. Probably, Hardfork will happen in the month of November.
2. Inflation will take place in the month of December.(Due to Hardfork)
3. We will hit $6000 mark before the year 2017 ends. (That will be my Highest guess)
This speculation is based from the hardfork we have experience. I honestly, hope that bitcoin would really rise but I do consider this speculation for my proper handling and control of my bitcoin.  There is no sure thing about it, but the most important thing is that we know that bitcoin is really doing well and place at the right track of development.

$5k-6k seems realistic choice than on the others because i do believe that we would eventually breakout on $4500 price and would continue even more on 5k above prices on this year. Specially on this upcoming segwit again and again on this month of November. We would see another drama on its prices and i do expect that price will dip again those days and we should really be ready on buying cheap coins.

I agreed with your estimation range amount of bitcoin, That is very much possible to be happen that's why most of the bitcoin holders now are taking the chance to buy bitcoin as much as they can afford to buy it. So that by that time they will get a big reward profit for bitcoin for sure of course.

If Segwit2x is really push through in November, we may experience a few blips. But I believed that it will pick up along the way and may get to $6000-$7000. However, this is just my educated guess as we all know that bitcoin has proven us wrong many times. Predicting the price movement is very hard even so some so called experts. But I'm guessing on everything I have seen so far, regarding how investors react to every event in bitcoin. If there is a minor price correction, new investors will have a chance to buy bitcoin that will push it $6000-$7000 in December 2017.

The price has increased a lot because people have created this expectation and if that expectation is not satisfied the price will fall.

Already has people complaining about the slowness of confirmations and high fee and on the other side of the segwit2x. that is we have all conditions so that the noise that lasts years will increase much more than in other years

At the moment I am wondering what coin will have the name Bitcoin in December.
If there really is a fork, I see a good chance that the new chain will get the name Bitcoin, and the old chain will be renamed by industry and exchanges.
It really all depends on that possible fork. Price, names, the whole future of bitcoin.
Hopefully they will come to an agreement.

I think the price increase for the ongoing year has got over and an year end price increase will take place leading it to reach the stated amount. Hope good things will happen as days pass, because more and more good things are happening with bitcoin at present.

7000 dollars or higher. I'm here more the two years and around new year price is always going up. In last year in summer time price tend to go down, this years that is different, bitcoin hold strong position this months and with rise when winter comes I expect price to go over 7000 dollar's. I also take in consideration some predictions that bitcoin will go over 10000 in next year, if experts are right about that, my prediction is very reasonable.

I agree with you that bitcoin can surely touch $7000 price by the end of the year and if everything goes fine then we may see that price even before that and I am not expecting $10000 price as its unrealistic price to expect in this year and as price is moving in positive direction at a moment we can expect the same in coming months too.

We need some event to happen on blockchain implementation to see the profit accordingly. Whenever we are worry about the dip when increase of network block size or some other movement that bitcoin price will grows up.
But every December when nearing the Christmas time bitcoin's price use to hit the higher value than in that year. Hope btc will do the same again.

i think in december the price is not to go more than $6xxx but maybe we can reach $5xxx in next one or two month later because i see that the price is not going to anywhere, it seems the price is stuck in $4xxx-$4999 and finally reach $5xxx. but i know its just only prediction and it could be wrong because its depend with the condition from the market itself and how people react with order buy and sell.

If we are done with all bitcoin forks for the year bitcoin could easily jump over the five thousand price hurdle and race towards the seven thousand as demand will increase towards big money movers like cyber Monday, black Friday not forgetting the festival period which will be the big difference as people make preparations for Christmas and the new year.

I'm not too sure about this. I think that price is defintely going to go up even further this year due to all the media attention and hype in general, before adjusting down dramatically. However, i'm not sure whether it can reach $8k or not and stay there until December. That seems to be an extremely bullish outcast. It is possible, as we've seen with bitcoin nearly doubling from end of July to now. But very unlikely it's going to repeat again.

It's not really anything to do with hard forks, it's just that the price is already so high and i doubt that this mania will continue for much longer.

For me possible price of bitcoin. In the months of december 2017 or end of this year will be 5k to 6k dollars. Because as of now the price is 4300 dollara and for sure it will increase more in the next fee months. Butit depends always in the demand of the market if the price will increase or not but i hope it will increase more so we can make a lot of profit in the future.

Now that price is not hard to achieve as we can clearly see that demand of bitcoin is increasing which is taking its price higher and we will be seeing it happening in next couple of months too so I am trying to buy maximum bitcoins now and will sell at the end of the year when I will be making best profits from it.

Historically bitcoin do double in price especially in November and December and I expect the same thing this year. Many Christmas  sales and celebrations time always influence the market positively and  many people are always do they purchased  in bitcoin and others cryptocurrency. I think op is very right we may see bitcoin above $8000 based on the  foregoing technical Fact.

As long as we don't know what's going to happen with the planned hardfork by the NYA it makes no sense to speculate what the price could be.
In a really bad scenario I could imagine some significant decrease due to massive FUD, issues created by that hardfork. In such a case Bitcoin will probably get attact by 2 clones, i.e. Bcash and B2x.Second one also with really low replay protection!! No one here knows how people would react in such a scenario.
Therefore I won't speculate on this topic as less it is clear if there will be another hardfork or not.

As of my concern,  bitcoin surely reaches big price by the upcoming December. The reason is that every year end there will be a price increase, this time the same continues from the starting of the ongoing year. Hope such a increase causes an bigger price increase and reach $5000 at the earliest.

I am speculating that it would be 10,000 usd before the year ends. We haven’t even reached the time when segwit will be activated and the price is already this high. I can just imagine how high it would be when we reach that time. Probably the prediction of McAfee might come true after all. That would totally be super great to have even at least 1 bitcoin if the prices reach $500,000.

Price can easily touch $7000 or above. Bitcoin price has been in uptrend since Jan with only July as exception. That too because of hardfork uncertainty. Else Bitcoin is moving fast with some small fluctuations. There might be a dip in November that is why I am speculating $7k.

So personally, I keep more bitcoin until the day has come for looking some profit

Yes everything can be seen today that there has been a very significant increase. Many people say that a new record will be created until the end of 2017. Prices will surely increase and many predict that prices will move between 5000USD and 5500USD. So we will still see higher bitcoin prices in the foreseeable future. Hope this can happen and be a fun fact.

Maybe the price of Bitcoin after that fork will decrease until next year, because if Bitcoin have problem when HardFork, that is best reason helps whales dump Bitcoin price to the hell. And new cycle will create ;D.

I voted 7000$-8000$ the price of bitcoin this December 2017, this is more realistic to me and worth the gamble. It would also be nice to see it on 10000$ price value but for 4 months is just unrealistic for me. Just my two cents.

Taking up to this months maybe it will go only at $7000 but not $8000 i believe it will go to the nearest at $6000+ by that because i have some informations gathered along the web which states the yearly possible price based on the data.

i can see that by the end of each year the value bitcoin always decreased first.

to bounce back later in the early year like on february. there is no harm to keep your bitcoin , or if you want to trade it prepare yourself to place the sell and buy position in the right time. a couple months left the value will get dropped , that is my prediction.

If we look from now the bitcoin prices are stable in the $ 4500 range and and very possible for the end of the year to reach 5-8k. Because we have seen every end of a significant price increase always happen, I hope this will be realized. Maybe with this we will be able to realize our dreams

I choose the price lf bitcoin possible become $5000 upto $6000. Because today price is 4300dollars and For sure the month of september it will increase more because septmeber is bear months and for sure many people buy bitcoin for shopping online because they want gives gift for their love ones . But we dont know actually what is the price of bitcoin in december but I hope the price is very high.

I think the price will reach at the rate of 5000$-6000$.If you  not need of money. Just sell all half of holding bitcoin. Why I am saying is ,if you hold till December means, you can get huge profit from the holding bitcoin. Savings is the best for getting profit through bitcoin.

By watching the past rallies and the price corrections, I believe about $10k seems a realistic figure right now, but as the crypto sphere is pretty unpredictable so anything can happen. But it will be fun to watch what happens.

Bitcoin doesnt really stop to amaze us everytime specially when it reaches a new ATH unexpectedly which i do really love to see on upcoming years or months on bitcoin.$10k is realistic but we should think first or base on lower amounts for this year and i would be satisfied even bitcoin price hits up on 5k price point and the higher the better.

You haven't provided any options for people who think that bitcoin price is actually going to stay the same or go down, because the minimum you've got in the voting is $5k. Therefore i cannot place my vote and i'm sure a lot of other people can't either, making the votes redundant.

Anyways, i think thaat by December we won't see a sharp rise in price like we've seen from the start of this month to right now. The more likely outcome would be the price stabilizes at $4k or less for a while before a major dip happens, or the price could dip below $3500 by the time December comes.

Just because it has risen in the past, doesn't mean it's going to continue to do so. In fact this is when it becomes dangerous to buy because of the fact that the bubble can pop any time.

I believe that $10,000 was quite high to expect and to see it happen on December. What I'm thinking is about $5,000 - $6,000 this is the most possible and close amount of bitcoin to happen on December. Although there will be so many factors that can affect bitcoin and if that $10,000 will happen for this year then that is much better.

Even if everything goes well, i don't think bitcoin is going to go up to $8000.

That would essentially be double the current prices and in my opinion the ceiling right now is much lower than that. Bitcoin could potentially break the $5k or even $6k barrier but there would be a ton of people panic selling when just a small selloff occurs because everyone knows we're in a bubble.

I just hope that the price could just stick around the $3k to $4k range by the time we reach the end of the year and we see nothing like the 2013 dump. And then new year could could potentially see $3k as a firm floor for btc.

I have a different opinion, i think that watching past rallies and corrections we are dangerously close to a major dump off right now. We may well be in the bull trap area right now, but i'm not sure. We could potentially go up a thousand or even 2 thousand more dollars but after that there has to be some sort of correction to bring it down because it's simply not the sort of price level we are supposed to be at right now.

By december i'm looking at closer to $3000 to $4000, something along the lines of that. Definitely not $10k.

I think that 5000-6000 $ is the real price for bitcoin by December. Despite the rapid growth there will still be insignificant cuts that will not allow the price to rise too high.

Generally I say bitcoin will go up to $5000 or $6000 by the end of the year. But that is me just being conservative because I don't want to get too excited haha. But the fact is bitcoin has been doubling this year at a rate quicker than 4 months, and we have 4 months left in the year...

$10k bitcoin this year is a possibility. Though I think more likely it will hit $7000 or $8000. The hard fork will probably hold it back some. I voted $7k-8k.

Bitcoin price predictions are very difficult but I think any thing between  $9/10k is very realistic. With the possibility of a war, maybe nuclear, with the crazy fat guy from N.korea agitating, expect the dollar and euro to lose ground and commodities to spike. Assets like bitcoin will do well in those circumstances.

The fact that North Korea's missile flew over the Japanese islands and fell into the ocean is very much in sight today. If segwit will succeed and lightning network will run smoothly, BTC could jump to 10000$ and above.It has stable upturn since beginning.

My prediction is Bitcoin will go back to 1000$, There are many reason and I guess we all know that. However, many changes are made to Bitcoin to make it stable lets see for how long they will help Bitcoins.

I don't think it will goes that low. The minimum for me if ever is $3000, when it pumps and dumps, the decrease in value were not that far from were it increase. Btc is getting much more attention now, that makes it increase in value.

We have seen many changes this year and now we think that the price of bitcoin can jump high every time without knowing that the price can crash any time too.

After correction I would say that the price can go from 5k to 6k, the price today jumped from 4.4k to 4.7k which is pretty good, almost +10% which is really high within few hours.

to me I think that if the price of bitcoin will continue with the same speed I am sure that bitcoin will cross 8000$ at the end of this year. i think it will be still profitable if a person will invest money in bitcoin right now. because still bitcoin is really a very safe and profitable investment. i myself have invested a good amount of money in bitcoin and still trying to invest more and more.

That is a good speculation and might it will came to that point since December is one of the peak point for BTC to rise up and if this price would reach for this month I think more doubting heads will come to adopt bitcoins since they will see it now profitable to spend there time in.

It's going to depend on whether or not there's any drama in November over Segwit activation. That could still bite people in the ass if they're not expecting it, and I haven't heard much about it on these forums lately; certainly nowhere near as much chatter as there was about the Segwit vote process. From what I've heard there are still unresolved disagreements over the maximum block size, and still a possibility of another hard fork if those disagreements between Core and the Segwit supporters can't be resolved. I'm expecting it move mostly sideways, with some small upward momentum, for the next month and a half, and then have another sell-off - smaller than the last hardfork, but enough for a solid relief rally after which will push it over $5k. It definitely seems to have slowed down lately, and before the last few days seemed like it was hovering around the possibility of a bear market rather than going sideways.

We already surpass $4,500 right now in the end of August and there are 4 months left into december. If the price of bitcoin can increase $500 every month, the bitcoin price can reach $6,500 in the end of the year. How about the bad one ? We don't know though, just hope the price of bitcoin will stable like this or increase again.

I am speculating bitcoin price to be as high as $8000 as if you study the historical data you will agree with me. Since the beginning of this year bitcoin do double in price every quarter. Bitcoin was around $1000 at the beginning of this year but double in price before end of April this year, at may this year bitcoin was below $2,200 and August bitcoin when as high as $4,600! I expect the same thing to happen in the next quarter and when that happened then we would be in the bubble.

BTC prices will most likely be in a downward trend for a number of months after the bubble pops, which i think will be before the end of November, start of December. Whether or not Australia develops its own cryptocurrency does not influence the price of bitcoin, or as much as you may think.

a little bit late for voting but I'd say that after the november, price in mid december will be around 5.5k$. No way that's going to drop below the current one and there's is sligtly morechance that it's going to jump over 6k$ after some corrections for sure.

If I were in that date December 31 the price will be 6000$ to 6500$ that is the peak price for this year. Not that so small but no exaggeration been really added. As the rise is stuck on 45000$ right now it will be just enough at that range. But if it changes the course because of the price corrections on November, we can't do much about it but to trust bitcoin and its further.

Yes predicting the price is indeed very difficult and we can only make speculation that is not necessarily true, but speculating it's okay to motivate yourself and possibly also for others. Bitcoin prices will continue to rise this year and will likely continue to soar in the end of each month. So for $7000 at the end of this year I'm also confident with that value.

My own prediction can be around $5k or nearly $5k value but more on that its impossible for me to see that price and i think the price of bitcoin are really over value if you compare the price from last year movement and today it is really high price increased..

I think 5k price will be reached soon as its already 4600$ and if bitcoin hears some good news form the world then it will be a one side rally. Currently Vietnam is looking to legalize it. I stand beyond what I believe in that 6000$ at this December because more investors will surely supports bitcoin as bonuses will be available in all workplace outside of the bitcoin community. I believed the correction would happen after the price reached to $4000, but it didn't happen... The news were too good for Bitcoin that it continued on a nice rise. Now it seems Bitcoin will reach $5000 without problems, maybe the correction will come after, but I don't know anymore as I already have thought wrong once. Better to hold for now and to sell when it crosses $5000 (if there are signals of correction).

There in fact was a correction. It only lasted a day, at the beginning of last week. Bitcoin dropped from $4400's all the way down to $3700's. That's the only correction you're gonna get for now. Maybe it will bounce off $5000 for a correction, but I think more likely everyone will be so excited for $5000 it'll break that and shoot up near $6000 before correcting in the next month or so. Then go up another thousand or two before end of year.

I would say 6000$. Maybe to some this looks to small price having in mind that now we are very close to 5000$ but in this last quarter of the year the price maybe will not rise so fast and also some minor corrections are possible. It's also possible that we reach 5000$ soon and then the price remains more or less stable at that value.

I think this is the closest range of price for this coming December. Thinking that the price will going to rise up to $8000 is too much, this is really moving too fast if it hit to $8000-$10,000. I can't think any possibilities why it will going to rise up to that, the sudden burst out of the bubble was just too early to gone. I'm sure there's something going to happen at this coming November.

That $6000 was too much mate, I would rather prefer at $5000 because fluctuations is happening for several days right now. Prior we are at the month of december we will encounter lots of challenging situations and most of the investors might panic during these days, there will be some speculations will come out. Just like those days at $3000 when that time price wasn't yet at $4000, panic sellers always tend to sell not in a right time that's why more investors regret this time while bitcoin price now ranging at $4000 to $5000 at present days.

The current trend is upward and no such thing as upcoming big factor to consider that bitcoin price will not be able touched $6,000 by end of the year. Even a large swing may happened as of we speak still it can't pulled down much the price. Most of the speculators, trolls or not, being backed up or not, majority of them eyeing bitcoin will be somehow playing at the range of above $5000 for up to $7,000+ before the year ends.

at the end of this year I predicted the price is likely to rise significantly. maybe the price will end in the range of 6000 $ to 7000 $ in December 2017. because it looks at the current state which shows a tremendous improvement graph.

Well, anything can happen right now. Yesterday people said the bitcoins price will never reach $5,000 but its really close right now. The current price is 4.763 USD right now and keep increasing. I'm pretty sure the price of bitcoin will reach $5,000 soon and it might hit $6,000-$7,000 on December.
