Sent 1 btc at 2013-05-22 01:23:53

Received an email stating the PayPal funds will be sent within 4 hours at 01:29 UTC.

Great service, smooth and quick.

I'll consider using this service, great stuff!

Did another exchange for .01btc and the captcha hung.  Needed to close it and do the captcha again. Also, the type above the catpcha is scrambled.

LMK if you need any more information.

Hello Mr Founder.

I looked over your site and realized that you do both sides of the equation in public.  As I interpret that you are violation of American banking Laws and subject to forfeiture.  Are you registered as an MSB?

Are you a registered money transmitter in any United State?

I bring this up, as I have with FastCashforCoins, and I wonder if you might provide a more insightful answer than his "go away".  (fwiw I hope he's more polite to the regulators when they come knocking).

GO AWAY!! you SUCK..

( Limit 1 BTC per transaction and 2 BTC daily. Fee to exchange is 6%. )

I would use this service but the limits are kinda crappy and the fee is to high. I also would expect the funds instantly not 4 hours later.

Ignore the hot headed previous poster.  He came and trolled my thread too.  He called me a capital-ass because I like to make money when I provide services but he refuses to see that his 100% mark up on used boat parts is EXACTLY THE SAME.   He's the ass, ignore him and then make a self-moderated thread.  (original poster can make a topic self-moderated by clicking additional option on first post).

You suck, sublime, stop trolling other peoples threads or we'll troll yours.

Now reporting to admin your trolling behavior, so he bans you for a week.

Watch the capitalism happen when your actions prevent you from making any money.   :-*

Sublime, we will be increasing the limits soon, so check back a month from now. In regards to our fees, they are what they are. We are running a business not a charity.

Viceroy, Thanks for your words of encouragement. We are excited about being a part of the Bitcoin community.

So what do you guys do with the coins afterward? and what is the price? do you use mt gox pricing? Is it 6 percent under mt gox that you are paying?

I buy and sell for paypal exclusively. Can I buy coins from you?

Sent 1BTC to 1P8N1H6FJxxEA9gZsUex1XZpFyNuSGHJWH and should receive 116.04, see how quick this happens

Edit: transaction took  exactly 32 minutes , very nice  ;D

Thanks for everyone who has tested the system.

This offer is still available so come give it a try! Regarding limits, we will be increasing the daily limits and decreasing processing time as we exit the beta phase. But keep in mind, we are not trying to create a replacement for a Mt.Gox but rather a quick and convenient service for those needing some fast cash or quick spending money.

What about the fee? Going over 5% seems too much to me.

To make this worth your while, we will pay double for the next 25 .01 BTC > PayPal transactions. Any .01 BTC transaction will pay double.
is this offer still active? if so, how many transactions left?

I just placed an order on your site and it works very smoothly. Got my money less than 5 minutes after I sent the coins. :)

here are my suggestions:
  • Instead of changing the cursor to a disabled icon, just disable the textbox. The changing cursor is kind of annoying when I want confirm something.
  • typo: "BTC" should be "USD"
    https://i.minus.com/ibVirReIJTk84.png
  • the order status page should auto-refresh
  • The navigation bar is bugged. When I go to another page, the highlighted tab on the navigation bar is always the home page.
  • for noscript users:
I enabled scripts for coingator, but not "areyouhuman.com". At the verification stage, clicking the verify button doesn't do anything. There should be a warning when scripts are disabled.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you supposed to receive $23.14 since CoinGator is paying double?

No, they will pay double for the next 25  0.01 BTC > PayPal  not 0.1

Ok I did two transactions for 0.01 BTC. The first one went through very fast and I got my payment in a few minutes. The second eventually expired since I sent the funds from Bitstamp and they delayed the payment a bit, but then I contacted MicroGuy and he solved the issue and sent me the payment himself.

In brief: great service, only the 10 minute expiry is a bit too low IMO (if more people like me send BTCs directly from an exchanger this will be happening quite often).

I think the 10 minute expiry is to prevent speculation based on volatile market prices. As long as you sent the coins, it will be accepted. No confirmations needed.

They should be Mass Pay, much harder to send those and get them back afterward.

The payments also come as CoinGator (sales@coingator.com) using mass pay. We have backup accounts for reserve management.

In the next few days, we will adding a user registration requirement and prohibiting transactions from states where we don't hold money transmitters licenses. And users will be required to verify their place of residence before being permitted to conduct a transaction.

International sales will no longer be supported.
I guess that means no more transfers for Canadians, it's a shame I just found your service.

Any ways best of luck to your business in the future.

Here's a great deal! Price 15 BTC

The coingator.com domain, scripting, etc. will be included with the sale. A fully functional BTC > PayPal exchange.

http://www.coingator.com

Wait, you're selling coingator now for 15BTC?  What gives?  Nasty emails from Paypal?

Regulator compliance in excess of $250K. PayPal had no problem with the business model.

So you have to pay $250K to run a business like this?

If so, then who do you have to pay that to?

And PayPal had no problems, I thought they were against using their services for trading currency?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm an interested noob! :D

FAQ inconsistent with homepage:
"The fee for a Bitcoin to PayPal transaction is 6 percent."

"( Limit $150 USD per transaction and $300 USD daily. Fee to exchange is 7%. )"
