Title: Coins stuck in received indicating paid
Post by: emack on August 26, 2017, 02:43:02 AM
4 days ago I purchased coins on paxful. I then went default wallet on Electrum and filled out amount I was to receive from paxful. Now that amount is in the received folder indicating paid but doesn't show up in my balance or my history. How can I get them in my wallet or show up as added to my balance ?

first of all please explain it in detail about your problem,
because nobody will help you if we don't know what coin is this ?
and how about the transaction tx ? can you provide it because we can make a hypotesis based on tx and the coin itself.
there're a lot thing that you need to know about your coin, because who knows what is going on with those coin right ?
for example a problem with their system, maintenance and etc etc.
provide more solid information so we can help you out.

Note : If in the tx said succesfull, your wallets should be credited in a second

I believe you must still transfer the bitcoins from Paxful to your wallet. Entering information in the receiving wallet is not enough. Only the wallet containing the bitcoins can send the bitcoins.

1. Go to the receiving tab in Electrum and obtain a receive address. The one you generated earlier is sufficient.
2. Go to your account on Paxful.
3. Find the send feature. It will ask for an address and an amount.
4. Copy the receive address from Electrum into Paxful and enter an amount (all I assume)
5. Send.
6.If all goes well, Paxful will debit your account and send the amount to your wallet. After a while, electrum will acknowledge that it is receiving bitcoins and it will let you know when the transaction is "confirmed".
