Title: LiteCoins Post by: Jake.Hobson on May 21, 2013, 08:59:49 PM I admit to being a little skeptical about LTCs. While I will probably mine a few along with legacy GPUs, I don't understand the purpose of the multiplicity of the the digital crypto currencies. I heard of the analogy "LTC's silver to Bitcoin's Gold", but I am still trying to figure out what that means practically.
Title: Re: LiteCoins Post by: Bunny84 on May 21, 2013, 09:17:02 PM LTC is better than BTC in several ways, f.e. speed of transaction or safety or mining.... etc
Title: Re: LiteCoins Post by: pavimus on May 21, 2013, 09:31:02 PM i think LTC is more perpective at now. LTC/BTC exchange rate is growing in time. Some last months LTC/BTC growed in many times. Next growing may happen when LTC come to mtgox.

Title: Re: LiteCoins Post by: Avengers_Assemble on May 21, 2013, 09:47:27 PM Litecoin could be the facebook, BTC myspace? :-* :-\ :-X I've heard several people say this. But I have no idea why people think this. I thought the only actual use of LTC is to convert to BTC. So why would LTC get bigger than BTC?Title: Re: LiteCoins Post by: hunnaryb on May 21, 2013, 09:49:23 PM There is nothing wrong with mining alt coin that is most profitable and trading to Bitcoin asap - and dont tell me LTC is somehow different alt coin. What drive new people to cryptocurrencies is Bitcoin afaik.
Title: Re: LiteCoins Post by: metacoin on May 21, 2013, 10:56:39 PM scrypt algorithm, transaction time, and block reward differences (the third is mostly psychological) are the major differences between BTC and LTC
